We were in town for a few days during our summer RV trip when one of our e-bikes got a flat tire…read more We took it over to Bighorn Bike Shop and found the front door open but the lights off, which was a little odd. A technician came out from the back, and I explained that I had a 26" e-bike with Tannus Armour liners and needed a tube replaced. Without even looking at the bike, his immediate response was, "I don't want to mess with that." I said, "No problem, I'll find another shop." As we were leaving, he followed us outside and asked if I was sure the bike had Tannus liners. Yes--I paid a reputable bike shop to install them, so I'm pretty confident they're in there. Then he asked how I got a flat with liners installed? I'm not a bike tech, I was riding and then all the air left. That's all I know. He then stood behind my Jeep explaining how easy the repair was. If it's that easy, I'm not sure why the shop refused to do the work. I was happy to pay whatever their labor rate was just to get back on the road. I ended up calling my home bike shop, which gave me the correct tube size and a few tips over the phone. They were right--the repair was straightforward, and I had it fixed myself. Avoid this shop at all costs.

North 40 had all kinds of sleep aids for them. Employees were helpful in helping me choose the right sleep aid for me to purchase. Varmint sleep aid aside, this is a great store to visit! They are a combination of a farm store meets a hardware, fishing, hunting, archery, boating, and clothing store all in one. I came here a few minutes before closing time, but, I can see myself spending hours here just perusing their merchandise. All the employees that I interacted with were very helpful. I wish they were closer to me.

When the arrived, there was a small price discrepancy between the tag price and what I paid. I emailed the shop and they took care of the price difference with no problem. Views views views!…read more Great change of pace after days of hiking. I rented a 1 seater kayak from glacier outfitters. It may look like a far walk but it isn't! Totally doable. The staff was very nice to explain everything to me. They showed me the lake map and where to go and not go, etc. Instructions were very clear. I rented 2 hours (they have you 15 mins for the round trip walk). The walk from the rental to the lake I thought was a bit of a walk but it was not bad to haul the kayak there, they are on wheels so it is not bad. You leave the wheels near the trees. Returning the kayak was fairly easy as well. There are lockers available that you can put your stuff if you don't want to take it with you. The minimum number of hours is 2 hours and it was 40 something. Overall it was a good experience! Everything was great. Would recommend and use service again.

(highly recommend reservations)…read more There is a small parking lot and some street parking but it was not a busy day and it was full. We had people waiting for our parking spot when we returned to the car. I'm not sure where people would park when it gets very busy. Perhaps there is another parking lot I didn't see. When you walk up to G.O. you sign waivers, pay the fee and are gathered in an area for instructions. The man who provided the instructions was very informative. Advised us of areas in Flathead Lake to avoid including a rough water area and a few bald eagle's nests as they recently laid eggs. After instructions, you are provided with the kayak, paddle, life jacket and a cart to roll the kayak down to the lake. Now, I'm pretty strong but the kayaks are heavy. I did think to myself, how would someone with less strength get this kayak down to the lake? Something to ask about if you are renting as it is several yards to walk with a heavy kayak. The carts were easy to remove and stash while we spent the day in the lake. When you finish kayaking, you simply load the kayak back on the cart and roll it back to G.O., drop off gear and you are done. We had a great experience with Glacier Outfitters and would use them again.

They do rent paddle boards and kayaks and will even take it to and from the lake for you for a delivery fee. The guy at the store told us about one of their lakeside kiosks where they have the equipment right there. Off we went towards Salmon Lake. It was located at Salmon Lake State Park. $10 an hour!! Such a great rate and the girl running it was so friendly. It was nice to be treated like decent human beings after being treated like dirt at Holland Lake. If you want to have fun at an affordable price and be treated like they are happy to have your business this is the place for you!

We rented paddle boards from Heritage last weekend for our camping trip at Lake Alva. I'm so glad…read morewe did because it was a blast! They shuttled the boards to and from our campsite for a nominal fee and gave us paddle boards that doubled as kayaks. How cool is that?! We were very pleased with the customer care we received from start to finish, and the over all ease of our rental experience. If you want to play on the lake but don't own the toys or a vehicle that will haul them - this is your go-to rental company. We'll definitely be back!
