A technician came out from the back, and I explained that I had a 26" e-bike with Tannus Armour liners and needed a tube replaced. Without even looking at the bike, his immediate response was, "I don't want to mess with that." I said, "No problem, I'll find another shop." As we were leaving, he followed us outside and asked if I was sure the bike had Tannus liners. Yes--I paid a reputable bike shop to install them, so I'm pretty confident they're in there. Then he asked how I got a flat with liners installed? I'm not a bike tech, I was riding and then all the air left. That's all I know. He then stood behind my Jeep explaining how easy the repair was. If it's that easy, I'm not sure why the shop refused to do the work. I was happy to pay whatever their labor rate was just to get back on the road. I ended up calling my home bike shop, which gave me the correct tube size and a few tips over the phone. They were right--the repair was straightforward, and I had it fixed myself.
