I've been digging this location lately. All the grocery outlets have similar inventory, but they are individually owned by different people so sometimes certain items and pricing could vary. Hence, I make it a point to visit most locations just because I'm always looking for a good deal. This location is the only one with a liquor wall! And it is not locked up, so you don't have to push a button and wait for someone to come help. Recently, I bought a bottle of vodka for $7 .99. It was a decent brand and tasted just fine. It went well with my sangria. My last visit, I got a big bag of true fru for only $4.99. I usually get good deals on dog treats here and food toppers , frozen burger patties, and all the fixings. They have a lot of great mixers if you're into Mixology and making a different types of sangria, which I enjoy doing and I feel like they have a bit more of what I need to make drinks. Service is overall good and it's kept up. Just note, NO public bathrooms here. read more

Idk if I did a review on the store yet so if anything, I'm just gonna renew it. It's very clean has some really good buys & different stuff all the time. Can find some good sales through out the store. The customer service is great! Very nice & friendly. They have flowers & plants for different occasions. Great place to treasure hunt for items. They have good seasonal items. You almost have to down every aisle to check it all out. The only thing that makes shopping difficult is that not everything is priced and they have most center store items in the carton so things are hidden from view...like the flavors. read more

Organized and very easy to find what you need! Bought Creamy Cinnamon Swirl Atkins shakes, body wash, Merlot chapstick, treats/food for cat, Sweetie, turkey sausage pitas, veggie stir-fry, scorchin hot cheddar cheez it Grooves, No Cow peanut butter chocolate chip and snickerdoodle protein bars and smoked pepper jack cheese. Well to start..I just got out of wrk n I got my son to get panda n saw this store nearby.i said let's try it out...never again. We got racial profiled by a blk guy employee ..really...lol. followed from isle to isle. My son said mom let's go but said nothing to me til I mentioned it to him on way out. So sad. This isnt but a discount place. Most items are non brand. Steal? me?...lol! To blk guy stay off yr fone with personal calls while on duty guarding cheap discount store. I live in old town clovis and come here biweekly. Everyone is always super helpful and kind. The only negative is you'll find a product you love and the next week it will be gone so make sure to stock up as the inventory cycles out rapidly. I love this place! read more

I live nearby and often just need to run in for a few things. It's so much easier to run in and out here as opposed to Vons or Save Mart. I find that their produce selection is usually very good here now so I often end up getting most of my groceries here now too. The staff are all amazing and very kind/caring people that really go out of their way for you. I only took a star off because once in a while they will have items on the shelf that are past the expiration date. read more

I can't believe they did this to me. I can't believe he hung up on me when I asked for his name when I was just calling to check the status of my application. I can't believe when I walked in to show my dedication and to see why I didn't qualify that he said he banded me from the store. I've been going to the store for 15 years, I need a job they told me to come up there. They told me and he just banned me from the store so embarrassing. I asked them can I still buy milk? He says no he called the police on me. I'm just a single woman looking for work I live right across the street. I thought this would be the best thing for me. Why did he have to treat me like this? My friend and I just had the most unpleasant experience today shopping at this store. The cashier lady was less than friendly and took no observance to us as customers but acknowledged the customers before & behind us. Felt extremely racially profiled. Never had issues coming to this store until today. Didn't catch her name but she's an older Caucasian woman either blondish grey hair. They sometimes have good stuff, but A LOT of their products are rotting and expired. ESPECIALLY their produce. Also: they don't really give refunds once you've bought their food. i will never shop at this store again ! i injured my hand on a sharp pointed sign placed in the freezer section. The attitude of the owner was terrible. i asked him to consider moving the sign back to a safer place for customers as I was just injured (broken blood vessel on my hand) and he could care less and said he was not going to move the sign. I have to say I am pretty impressed with this store. I only started shopping here after watching YouTube Hauls sharing the vegan products Grocery Outlet carries. I went in and found several of the products I was looking for and the prices were fantastic. After shopping here a few times, I've learned that what you see is what you get, on this trip. Don't expect to see the same products all the time, so if you like it, buy it. The store is organized well. I happen to like the produce on the left side of a grocery store and that's just where it is at this store. I have found items here with prices A LOT lower than what I get them on Amazon. If you shop the Amazon pantry, you should check out this store. As with any store, you need to make sure to check expiration dates. read more

Popped in on my lunch looking for some chicken bullion. I didn't expect to find what I was looking for but I was right there, so I gave it a shot. They didn't have it, but I did wander around the store a bit. I typically shop at the Central Fresno store and noticed this location was similar in the items they carry. It's a good place to find some bargains...you just never know what you might find when you visit! They do have a small produce area and you can always find things like eggs, milk and bread. Some items are over stocks, close outs or discontinued products. Usually lots of cereal to choose from. Wines, too. I understand there are good deals to be had on wine there. I used to shop at this location when my kids were growing up and we lived in Clovis. It was a great place to stretch my grocery dollars! read more

She has a bubbly personality and was carrying on great conversations with the guy in front of me and then with me, all the while working at a quick and efficient pace. I would not shop at this store I've Clovis Grocery outlet I worked with for this store for almost 20 years and when the new people I guess they've been there for maybe about 4 years Daniel and Angela Irwin it is now the dirtiest place I would not buy groceries especially my produce and I'm not saying this because of why I left or how they got rid of me I'm saying this because of my experience working there and being a witness to it they are rats they piss on everything they climb all over the product when it's in the back Warehouse the front of the store may be clean or out there in the shopping area but try looking around in the warehouse the rats are always all over the produce running around and pissing and s******* all over it I had a rat run over my foot one day running into the store when there was customers shopping and I went and told the owner Daniel irwin and all he asked me was did the customer see it or did you yell and I told him no and went on my business even if you're looking for a job I would not apply there they are the worst people to work for they act like they're something they're not but as soon as you're by yourself or nowhere near around the other employees they treat you like crap the owner's wife treats you as if you're a child talks to you like that the owner Daniel if you piss him off enough he follows you around corners you and yells at you if he don't like you just like a little boy that worked there nobody was in the warehouse it was early in the morning and the owner put his hands on him the kid was so scared that he quit the next day or that day and they lie about it if you double cross them they will find ways to get rid of you anything just to get rid of you and so you don't talk to any of the employees they make up lies and stories and they tell the employees to call the cops if they see you in there because they don't want you talking to their employees or if you get caught talking to a corporate person walking in there watch out because that's what happened to me they made up anything any little story to get rid of me but anyways I just wanted to let you know it's a dirty place to buy groceries it may look clean but it's not what they do is when they come in in the morning they clean all the piss and the poop from the rats off the product and the aisles so it may appear to be clean but it's not I stopped buying food there when I worked there because I knew it was going on so take it how you want but I'm just letting you know you can get sick from what's going on in that store and it's not because what they did to me because I was getting tired of working there anyways and I can get a job anywhere with the experience I have right now I'm on medical I have to wait for a doctor to release me because my anxiety and PTSD got worse after Mr Irving was following me around his store yelling at me all the time and making up just anything to yell at me it made my my mental health worse so I got to get control of that before I get another job but I'm not telling you this to feel sorry for me because I am strong and I can get through this I just thought it I should tell somebody or let people know before they go in that store they're not what they seem to be read more

This place sells reasonably priced food and merchandise for a fraction of the cost on many items. It is fairly small, so it's easy to maneuver throughout the store and find what you need quickly. Don't expect a great variety, but if you want to grab something quick and inexpensive, this is the place to go. read more

I am a huge fan of Grocery Outlet, especially this location. The selection is unique and ever changing. They have a lot of organic, healthy and frozen foods. The prices are incredible...there are items that are a third or less of what you would pay at a regular store. Great deals on pet food, health products, vitamins, cheese, cleaning products, beer and wine. I once got a gourmet jar of pickles ($5 anywhere else) for .53 cents. My first stop for grocery shopping. They always have a large selection of whatever I need. I end up trying a lot of new things when they have markdowns. Their "drug store" aisle sometimes doesn't have exactly what I want, but usually for the money I save, I will try a new brand. I really like this Grocery Outlet (along with the other one in the area). Some freezer items are good price, as well as some of the cheeses in the fridge section. The burger buns and hotdog buns are excellent price ($1.79 for a large bag of them). The candy, cookies, and crackers are sometimes good prices. If you think going to Walmart gets you the best deals think again. My family has been shopping here for over 12 years and what I love about grocery outlet is that I can walk in with $20 and leave with multiple bags of food that I actually like. When it comes to meats, veggies and wines you'll see so much variety. They even have an aisle for organic products. All my experiences with the cashiers and employees have been positive. Only other comment I would make is watch out for expiration dates. If you notice an item is incredibly low in price it is most likely because it's use by date is fast approaching. The grocery outlet is known for its guaranteed low prices but the problem is that they don't have much of a variety of quality products. Their meat & seafood section is worth the time to check out. This Store has a good selection. Reason for my 2 stars is the checkout clerk never once addressed me or looked up until my total came up. She took my money handed me my receipt without a single word. Save you time and go to Winco Or FoodMax. I know this place has been here forever. But I feel it just went downhill. The customer service is not the greatest.They walk past you not even offering any help. The store can be confusing to find things. But the biggest issue is that I do NOT TRUST THE FOOD. We purchased a pair of 11.00 pork ribs .They had a FOUL SCENT and there was NO EXPIRATION DATE.It smelled awful and had to be trashed. I purchased a container of grapes only to see they were fuzzy molded at the bottom.And the other packages of grapes I noticed were nasty and molded to. I refuse to buy anything "fresh" only packaged items. I cant believe a grocery store would put peoples health or even lives at risk with putting such bad items!! read more
