My mom wanted to check out some ottomans for the home with very specific colors and design accents. They did have a wide selection of ottomans but I was looking towards more stool which they did not have any stools at all. Once I arrived the store was clean their prices is on point for the area and the county. Ask staff member or question and the assisted me immediately. Im 16 and was literally just checking out some things after school knowing I'm not going to buy anything, and as I'm leaving this secret shopper stopped me and said he "seen me conceal something" in my pocket. Mind you it's my WALLET. I literally was going to show him everything in my school bags and my pockets and AS I was frantically pulling everything out, he was like "hmm alright" , ignored what I had, and went back inside. I pray they look in those cameras because I DIDNT DO ANYTHING, they're literally racially profiling people because wtf??? Why are you following me a Mexican out of every other WHITE person????? This store feels brand new. It's clean, well-organized, and surprisingly calming to walk through. The air conditioning is strong and keeps the space refreshingly cool, which is a huge plus during the Fresno summer. I almost needed a jacket. I used to avoid this store because of how cluttered it felt, but the renovations have made a huge difference. There are great sales and deals here, you almost have to contain yourself from putting frivolous items in your cart. I spotted some mini Le Creuset Dutch ovens that were tempting, even though I didn't need one. I'll definitely be back when it's time to pick up a new comforter or stock up on laundry essentials. I purchased 2 candles and large chip bag clips. Usually at this location, there's a huge line with only a few registers open, but today I was helped relatively quickly when I stood in line to purchase my items. I did a return,, lady gave me so much trouble, I had my receipt & it was my purchase march 8. 2026. So I didn't see the problem. She started questioning how that I paid with two different payment which I was aware of.. I did someone shopping after, at check out the guy at register was extremely rude too. I love this store. It is usually crowded but totally worth it. They have such a great selection of everything. The prices are great.

I decided to pop in today and check out the furniture. I am looking for a cabinet for my living room to store pet supplies out of sight. I couldn't help but notice the clearance furniture pieces being grossly "clearance" priced when the items were completely damaged. Many of the cabinets had huge chips on the facial surfaces that cannot be hidden and are VERY noticeable and they would only discount the piece by $50 lower their original. One cabinet was chipped, banged up and one of the cabinet doors wasn't even attached to the cabinet anymore (it was resting on top of it) and they only deducted $49. Ridiculous! This store is always a bit messy as they just seem to have so much inventory. But it was nice to see store clerks trying to organize the shelves. They have all their Easter decor out and they have a lot of it! Some things were insanely priced. $99.99 for a large chocolate egg and $60 for a basket of small Chocolate eggs. I could easily spend hours in this store skimming the aisles and finding awesome deals! So it's the silver lining when I run out of skinny mixes for my coffee. I get to come here and find all the seasonal flavors! This store always has tons of skinny mixes in stock. This location is always clean and well stocked. The people here are friendly. Things are nicely organized. I also love coming here for my dogs needs. They have affordable treats and accessories, shampoos and toys. read more

This is my go to store when I am wanting to redecorate my house or just because I want to buy something. Prices are pretty inexpensive for most items and there are lots to look at. Sometimes my finds are really good and it hard to choose what I want. I usually get wall decor, pet toys, and dishes. I love pillows, so sometimes it takes me a while to get through the aisles. I've bought curtains and curtain rods for all my windows/glass door. (6 different rooms). Materials are great quality and have lasted me 4 years now with them also being washed once a month. Staff are usually pretty friendly and helpful. There's only about 2 employees I've come in contact with that were very not helpful but everyone else has been nice. Sometimes the store can be a little messy. Since I'm sure people change their minds a lot they don't put things back when they don't decide they don't want it. Most of the time I will also see broken items that have marked down prices. Which I don't agree that they should have it out. Someone could cut their finger on the broken glass/part if they aren't paying attention. Still definitely one of my favorite stores and highly recommend shopping here. read more

There is so much to look at here! Your eyes go crazy! Anything you can think of for the home and than some! Lots of great, decorative items. I went here to look around and maybe get some ideas to mix up my room. Plus, I wanted to see what stuff they had for Valentine's Day. They didn't have much for Valentine's Day. Just one isle. It was mainly candies and a few decorative items. They had a bunch of decorative flower arrangements. Very pretty! Tons of different pillows and rugs. Bathroom stuff too. A LOT! They also had some great decorative Easter stuff. It will seriously be here before you know it! The workers were nice. Busy. It was a packed house! There was so much stuff that it was all very compacted. Pretty messy, but, like I said, A LOT to look at. If you're looking for home stuff to decorate, highly recommend this place! we just bought a new home & needed everything possible from kitchenware to bath towels to bedding & organizers. we ordered some things on amazon, also bought stuff from target but nothing beats the quality of items (esp pots & bedding) & prices at homegoods. employees here are always friendly & helpful in finding things. great selection of items at great prices. i found a kate spade king sheet set for $59.99, and it's lovely, 100% cotton. also found a few things that sur là table has in their store, so those were gems of a find. if you have the patience, you'll find amazing things here. read more

Nice selection but stuff was kind of crammed every where. Some prices were great, other things were a little over. I wish it was a little more balanced across the board and things were a little more organized but I get that it was also a Sunday afternoon and stuff had probably been picked through already. The cashier was really friendly though. All the employees were wearing masks as well. read more

Have lived throughout California from North, Central & Southern part. This is personally my favorite HG store. The layout is very nice. Always well stocked & pleasant employees. Personally am not a fan of the HG's that are connected to Ross or Marshall's. There is ample parking in the large lot. One thing to remember when shopping at HG's for the most part when you see something you really want - buy it! Found out the hard way a couple times. They don't always get repeat items in, especially Seasonal items. Shop local - stay safe. read more

I don't shop here too often, mainly because I don't care for all the traffic at the River Park shops. I had a gift certificate, though, so off I went. I shop a lot at TJ Maxx and Marshall's and the items in this store were reminiscent of what I see at the other two stores. There were quite a few shoppers there, so it looks like a pretty popular store. I browsed around for a bit, then selected a few items. There was a line to check out, but it went fairly quick. Love this place! From exotic spices to unique simple furniture, exotic candles or throw pillows this is the place to come to peruse. You will find all sorts of little kitchen eccentricities, pans, coffee cups melamine dishes.. anything that you would want for your house that is unique and affordable. When I got her out, she looked like she had rolled in loose dirt all over herself. Completely disgusting. Chewed gum is on the bottom of the check out counters as well. This store has some really nice pieces of furniture at what seemed to be a low price. I didn't actually inspect any of it closely, but from what I could tell, it would work well. Much of the furniture is a smaller size which I am always seeking as I live in a small space. As for the store on a whole, a lot of kitchen items, in a nicer venue than Marshalls or Ross. read more

I walked away and had to leave the store because at check out there were two women without masks. I did not feel safe. If they want to let these people in, the least they can do is make an announcement over the loud speaker informing the 50-100 already shopping and following the rules, that in a few minutes we will no longer be safe. WE should have the option to leave and not be exposed. They take care of the 1-2 instead of the 50-100. I will never shop here again, and I will tell everyone in my age group, over 65, about my experience. There are a lot of us and we have money. I am shocked that we were not warned . read more

Nobody in this store wears masks!! This is the second time this happened. The first time, a lady checking out and an employee both had their masks pulled down to their neck. Today an entire family had no masks on and I saw 2 other shoppers with no masks, I told an employee and she could have cared less. Won't be coming back here! read more

Home Goods is an easy five star rating for me. I love walking in and browsing around for what's new. I think the best thing about Home Goods is the mystery. You never know what you'll find. I love coming here to look for decorative items like trays for my perfume or new holders for my toothbrush. Sometimes I come here looking for something in particular, but most of the time I come here looking to find something I didn't realize I needed (or more like wanted lol). Stores like this are awesome to browse in, especially if you're out & about with your girls. read more

I LOVE Home Goods! I think this location has more merchandise compared to the location in Clovis. I had been looking for an end table and an entry table and found good deals at Home Goods on Blackstone. The end table had a small crack on one of it's legs and the entry table had a small scratch. The scratch and crack are not noticeable unless you look very closely at the tables. On both occasions I asked for a discount and the manager gave me 10% off both times. I ended up getting the end table for $40 and the entry table for $90! The manager also helped me maneuver the entry table in the back seat of my car. read more

Evil is in the process of updating some of the rooms in his evil lair. Fire engine red is a color that truly fits an evil room and I was looking around for some accent pieces in fire-engine red. As a man, Evil doesn't normally frequent this kind of store. Liquor stores...yes. Home Depot...yes. Sporting goods stores...yes. Home decor stores...oh, hell no! But there I was...walking the aisles looking for that special item. I found a really cool looking night stand with four drawers that had a fire engine red lacquer finish. It did have a tiny chip in the corner, but Jackie the manager knocked $9.99 off the price. Another evil plan accomplished! My only complaint about this store is that it seems super jammed packed with merchandise and the lay out didn't make sense to my evil mind. read more

I make it a point to drop into Homegoods whenever I'm in the area. As a member of the Marshalls-TJMaxx clan, there are always good buys to be found here. On the darkside, they allow shopping carts in their already too narrow aisles. Do women really need to use a shopping cart to schlepp their purse and their one item that could fit in a shoebox? I know, I'm exagerating, but those shopping carts are really annoying! read more

Every time I've gone to this store I've found some good deals on small kitchen/bathroom items. The last few things I bought were items about 10-20$ each and I saw them elsewhere for approximately 4-8$ more. A lot of the types of things they have for sale I would never buy, the style is kind of older, but there are some good items for sale. I can't say much about customer service since I haven't needed assistance when I've been there. read more

My Mom came to visit me, and she really wanted to visit the Villagio Shopping Center. I love my Mom, so I grudgingly obliged her. My Dad also loves my Mom, but he did the driving, so he got to watch the Giants in HD while I schlepped my Mom down the street. I actually like the concept for this store. I wouldn't mind having a discount housewares store nearby. It's just that almost all of this stuff is really ugly. There's lots of country kitchen stuff, and some really unfortunate and really expensive glassware. Even though my Mom didn't buy anything (which was surprising), she did spend nearly an hour browsing. The real shocker for me was that the prices didn't seem that low. They were nowhere near as competitive as the Crate and Barrel outlet. In Fresno, you could probably do better to wait for a sale at Pottery Barn. I'd wager that sale prices at Pier 1 or Cost Plus would be a bargain compared to most of the prices here. Disappointing. read more

Big discount chain store, but for specific items, it can be a place for some really good bargains. Really I just go here to consider upgrading kitchen stuff, though I might consider some of their bed sheet sets and whatnot. So, it's as reasonably organized as I could expect for this type of store, and I really like that stock has been updated a bit each time I visit (maybe once a month or so.) Nothing spectacular, just potential good deals for the cheapskates like me. read more

I just love Home goods, it has everything you need for your home. The prices are great the quality is the best, I love shopping here. I have found so many beautiful, one of a kind decorations for my home. I do all my Christmas Shopping here, and there is always something for everyone here. While this store can sometimes be a little overwhelming with how messy it is, there are some good bargains to be found. Be careful though, a friend of mine got a chest from India and it had wood bugs in it that started burrowing out of the wood a couple of months after he got it home. I love this store! They have out all their Halloween stuff now. It's a great place to buy picture frames, wall pictures rugs, furniture and things you didn't even know you needed. If yiu see something you want buy it because of you come back it will probably be gone. That happened to me with some furniture. Some of the isles do seems small but not to bad. It's one of those stores where I LOVE walking through and checking out what they have. But things rarely pass the cart test. What is the cart test, you ask? The cart test, is where I find something I obviously love and can't live without. So I put it in the cart. Then I walk around the store for another 20 minutes or so. If I really don't need it or it doesn't serve some specific purpose, then eventually I find flaws, or talk myself out of it. And that's the pisser about this store, is it is everything you want, and nothing you need. But I love going there and looking at things... and then putting them back 20 minutes later. read more
