It's so fun going to different Dollar Trees and this store was great! I loved their set up. They had great selection and it was neatly stocked. I went into this Dollar tree this morning (08/13/25 @10:47 check out) and it's was super organized. I am impressed with the great organization, workers stocking and helping each other out. There were some customers roaming around the store. My cashier Flor is kind, polite and helpful. She did the usual of asking if I wanted a bag. I didn't want it because I had my own. Before paying I pull out my bag and set it on the table. While I was paying, Flor was very kind to bag my items for me. She's the first dollar tree cashier that done that for me! We love dollar tree! We can always find nice greeting cards, table clothes, snacks, holiday decorations, household products and so much more for $1.25 or less! They usually have shelves shocked up and staff are pretty friendly. One employee saw me struggling and got me a basket to hold my things. (I only came for two things, it's never just that one or two things) I probably come here at least twice a month. I love buying things and turning them into crafts/projects for decorations. It keeps my daughter busy while helping too! read more

One of the best Dollar Trees I've ever shopped. It is a large store with a wide variety of items carried in these kind of stores--party goods, kitchen items, silk flowers, school supplies, even food. Greeting cards are priced well below cost at a typical card store. Quality and selection are very good. So much to look at. The checkout is efficient, too. read more

This is not the dollar tree to go to if you're needing to grab something real quick. You will get stuck in here looking at the variety! Not only because there is so much but also because it it so well organized and clean. You can actually see and find the things you're looking for. You really have to have strong will power when you shop here because it's so easy to spend a lot of cash. Everything is obviously a dollar but if you're not careful, it will add up quick! The cashiers are fast and polite. If you go early you can beat the crowd and have a nice, quiet shopping experience with the first picks of the day. There is more than enough parking and the store is located in an awesome shopping center. There are other places you'll want to visit before you leave home. So be ready to shop!! read more

This is my preferred Dollar Tree, but remember you get why you pay for! I mainly purchase things like envelopes, bubble mailers, poster board.... they are great for these types of office supplies. I also love them for gift bags & gift tissue, little organization bits and bobs. They have a mask policy, they don't really enforce it though. I can't really expect them to, they definitely aren't paid enough to have to deal with the "Karen/Kevin"s of world. There hasn't been any extra personnel to held enforce the mask rules the few times I've gone since the world ended. They do wipe down the belt between each customer, they wiped the key pad for the lady in front of me when she asked. I think they are trying their best to be cautious. read more

I don't know if they are running a scam here but my card was charged 2 times last night and the lady said the first time it was declined but the purchase went through on my phone 2 times when I told her this she said get in contact with your bank after showing the two 2 charges I had on my phone I'm missing money and I've heard of stores and fast food places charging cards twice and pocketing cash so I don't know if that's what this was but I talked to my parents and they said it was weird to cause normally the charge on my phone would have said declined not spent. Look out with your cards in places like these!!! read more

This dollar tree is a little truck for me on distance but worth the drive. They are very organized and have lots of in season products. The place is clean and well maintained and the selection is better than most, in my opinion. This location is one of my favorites and I have about three nearest to me. The place to find some pretty awesome cheap stuff. I seriously have seen more people running in and out of this Dollar Tree in froo froo area at Champlain & Shepherd than I have at the Cedar & Herndon location or Blackstone & Barstow location (which is kind of ironic). I like all of the aforementioned locations, but I actually like this Champlain & Shepherd the best out of the three. It sometimes has larger selection than the other two locations. Dishes, cups, silverware, candy (some that you can't get anywhere else), batteries, flower vase, baking pans, oven gloves, etc. Love this place. read more

My last visit to this Dollar Tree was disappointing (June 2018). Several sections were very picked over. The organizer bin section, for example, was pitiful. Very few sizes or color options and generally not many bins at all. I was surprised to see on Yelp that this was one of the more highly rated Dollar Trees. I used to love this store, until recently. They clearly have a sign on the front door stating no one may enter without a face covering. But when I was shopping I saw a woman without a face covering. I asked the cashier why the woman was allowed to shop without a face covering, and the cashier said "we don't have to enforce that people wear face coverings". I said "but it's posted on your front entrance that everyone must wear a face covering". I walked to the front door and took a picture of the sign. As I was walking to the door the cashier called to her manager to and I quote, "come tell her about the mask thing because she's freaking out". I calmly and politely said "Sweetheart, I'm not freaking out, I'm just trying to understand why you would post that sign and then not enforce it, that's all". And as I was walking past the woman with a face covering, I took her picture to send to the corporate office. Then I continued shopping. When it was time for me to pay, I assured the cashier that I was not going to go viral with the picture of the woman, it was strictly for sending to the corporate office. At that point the cashier looked me dead in the eye and said "you were being rude". Shocked, I said "I was? How? I spoke to you politely, didn't raise my voice or use profanity. If you think I was being rude, I sincerely apologize." But that wasn't good enough for her, she called me rude two more times! Finally I asked for her name and she refused to tell me, stating "my name is at the bottom of your receipt." which hadn't given yet because she was still ringing up my items. So I asked her again, and again, only to get the same smart-assed answer. When the district manager came out, I tried explaining what happened and the nameless cashier was still butting in, saying I was rude. Her manager told her to chill out. I was telling the district manager to either change to sign or enforce it. The conversation was going nowhere fast, so I just left. Whether I was rude or not, which I wasn't, the cashier should be trained on how to deal with rude customers. Obnoxious people come with the customer service industry, I know because I've worked retail and I've been a waitress. And I would NEVER tell a customer (3 times) they were being rude, even if they were. SMH! I finally got the cashiers name, but I will not reveal it here, just as I will not show the picture of the woman with no face covering. Just know this store is NOT taking the pandemic seriously, therefore Dollar Tree is a part of this problem, not part of the solution. read more

Terrible experience today. While this location might be clean, orderly, and mostly well-stocked, the store management and manager were terrible. How can they not open up other registers when the only long line sweeps around and blocks aisles? They do not tend to customer satisfaction in making shopping and checking out a positive experience. First of all, there are not nearly enough shopping carts for the amount of customers, and, most of them are broken in some manner, mainly twisted up wheels, making the cart difficult to navigate. Don't be cheap, Dollar Tree! Buy a lot more NEW carts and dump all the broken ones. When I finally asked the only checker to get someone else up on the registers, she showed no concern, almost as if being ignored. This is what the employees at this location are great at...ignoring customer needs that would make the entire experience in and out the store very enjoyable. The person who came to open up a 2nd register, took his sweet time putting the money into the till before opening up. And, when I informed him that I brought my own bags, he proceeded to slide my items through and not bag up my 42 items, leaving it to me to do so. How rude and disrespectful on his part. The manager of this store should be fired or demoted. Get someone else in that position who will hire friendly, helpful employees. read more

Imagine this. You're off work after a full shift, and you just need to pick up a few things. You're tired. There's no carts, so you have to carry everything. And you wait in line behind 4 other people, while there's 4 waiting behind you. This was my experience. I was exhausted, and there were two other girls around who could have EASILY hopped on a lane. Instead, they went into their little "office" area, closed the door, and left the only cashier out there on her own. I heard them laughing, counting money, but I don't understand why one of them couldn't do this while the other hopped on a lane. The one cashier left out at the front now had to deal with angry customers because she was the only one. As someone who's worked in customer service as both a team member and an executive manager, this was super frustrating. This was definitely one of the worst management I've ever seen. A manager should make sure the store is running smoothly, both on the floor and the front lanes. And trust me, I've experienced this multiple times at this store already. Get it together please, or fire these lazy a** "managers" please and get some who will get this place running like it should. Regardless of items being $1 or more, a store is a store. This dollar tree has gone down in quality so much over the last year. Every time I go in there it's always packed and dirty. The place is always out of stock even though their boxes of inventory clutter the aisles. There is always only one cashier and about 10 customers waiting in line at any given time even though you've seen several other employees "working ". Employees love hiding in their little room in the corner and not running the store efficiently. I really hope they get it together! read more
