I want to give the biggest thanks to the kind gentlemen that helped me out on the self-check out register today. Terminal #SC010900. I didn't catch his name but he was able to grab the supervisor on duty and another team member to help me get my stuck debit card out of the machine. And no, it wasn't stuck inside the card reader, my debit card literally slipped into the cracks of the register near the scanner and bagging area. Both him and I saw it slip in disbelief, with our jaws dropped, it was probably a 1/100,000 chance it would happen. Immediately he alerted another staff member and his supervisor on duty. They closed up our lane, opened up the machine from the inside out and helped me grab my debit card. I was close to letting them know I would just cancel my card and order a replacement, but they really really helped me out. I really appreciate it guys. Impressed! Bought corn on the cobs, crispy jalapeños, eggs, spice cake mix, pumpkin pure, flamin hot Cheetos Mac N Cheese singles, black beans, Asian medley, Haribo berries, strawberry Atkins shakes and peanut butter Atkins cookies. This store is absolutely filthy! A few months ago I went in there and saw how dirty it was, so I spoke to a manager and she simply said "okay thanks" and went about her business. I called corporate and they sounded as if they were going to do something about it. So I went in last night and these are the pics I took around the register and under displays. I've been shopping here for years, and to be perfectly honest I will probably go back because it is cheap, which is why I'm giving it two stars and not one. They recently remodeled. I was hoping for an upgraded store, cleaner, better organized, nicer finishes. They reorganized but nothing is in a logical location, more things are behind glass. (More shoplifting I suppose? But it makes it very difficult for normal people to shop) The floors are bare concrete and I'm not going to mince words, it looks filthy. In some places it looks like they didn't sweep before they applied the clear coat. The flooring is darker so the dirt on top of the clear coat is more pronounced, it just looks horrible. The floors were a beige lino before the remodel and although it reminded me of a school cafeteria, it was fine. I'm told that lino will last 50 years with proper care, so why rip it out? What do they have planned for the next remodel? Bare dirt? Can't wait... read more

Currently at home with my mom, and we both have COVID. Naturally, we are isolating, so we had our groceries delivered. We already are signed up with Walmart+ but we especially needed to do delivery due to being sick. Today, I opened one of the juices we had purchased yesterday, Feb. 2nd. I took a sip before observing some suspicious black coloration near the bottle's opening. That's when I glanced at the expiration date: Dec. 22nd of last year! This is not the first time we have received expired food from the store and we called the local store and corporate last time and this time. Today, the local associate glibly told myself and my mom that she could do nothing, and we needed to call 1-800-WALMART. This is just ridiculous, and dangerous. I live closer to the kings Canyon Walmart, yet I choose to drive a little farther to Shaw & Fowler for a better shopping experience. They are always clean and organized, and their curbside pickup is WAAAY better at this location. Staff has always been friendly and attentive when they bring out my items. For being a neighborhood Walmart, they actually carry a lot of items. I'm able to get what I need and be in and out in a timely manner. read more

I used to love the pharmacy at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at 1830 Shaw but not anymore. They have always been very helpful and friendly but something has changed. Tonight I went to pick up my prescription; I was a day late but their hours are not convenient. They don't open until 9 AM and close at 7PM (some days earlier) and they take time off for lunch. So I was wrong in being late but the pharmacists that I dealt with tonight was an angry, obnoxious, bully and he told me off for being late. I had never seen him before. Don't confuse him with the pharmacist named Bee who is always kind and helpful. Well, I was wrong for being late but I don't believe that I should have been humiliated and talked to in such disrespectful tones. Great customer service! NOT. I will not be back. My insurance company has been after me forever to change to their pharmacy which delivers via mail. No more trying to fit the Walmart Pharmacy schedule into my schedule. I also hope that Walmart will give this employee a lesson in customer service and just how to be nice to customers no matter what. read more

I've been shopping at this store since it opened and have had ups and downs. I also occasionally shop at Winco or the new Smart and Final Supermarkets. But as of the last two months, I have started using Walmart's online shopping and it's the greatest thing you can imagine. You just go to the website of the store you shop at and choose your groceries by clicking a box by the product. You give your payment info on your first visit and from there on out, you just proceed to checkout and with one click, you are done. You reserve a time to pick up your groceries and park in one of the pick up stalls and call the number on the sign. They ask for your name and what stall number you are parked in and bring out your groceries immediately and load them in your car. Life has never been so easy! I highly recommend this way of shopping. read more

This Walmart is just a disappointment. I only come by because it's the closest grocery store near me. I noticed everytime I use the Walmart grocery pickup option the representatives always seem to state the items I ordered are out of stock. So I usually do my online order, load groceries... and when I get off at this same Walmart all the items my representative marked were out of stock are actually IN STOCK. It's just a nightmare. I spoke to a manager about this and she was some young girl who looked about the age of 21, she let me know the best time to ensure all my items are instock is to place order around 3-5 AM?! Is she crazy?????? I am sleeping at this time. It's just an inconvenience really. Also, I noticed a lot of their DELI ham is expired. I purchased ham right before thanksgiving and when I got home I noticed the ham had expired on 10/20. A MONTH OLD DELI! I went back 3 days letter to exchange the ham for a non expired one and the expired deli ham was still out on the shelf. GROSS. Do better Walmart read more

Does not honor prices that are clearly marked on their shelves in the store. The item was clearly marked on the shelf at one price, but then came up over $1 more at register. They went back to check and said that even though they saw the tag, that it wasn't the correct one that was supposed to be there, so they wouldn't honor that price even though it was the only one listed. Not great customer service, and not a great way to build customer loyalty. I will not be shopping here again. read more

I stopped in this store to get a couple items for one my mom. They were completely wiped out on lactose free non fat milk. I could see in their walk in that there were pallets of product in the back. I asked an associate if he could check and see if they had the milk in the back. He answer to me was, "There is so much stuff back there you can't even open the doors". For the third time my daughter and I received expired food from this store through delivery but this time we both had COVID, the juice had mold, and my daughter drank some before finding out. Although we have contacted both the store and Corporate, the situation appears worse than before. Horrible service when you order online for delivery. I ordered online for delivery at 1pm and was supposed to be delivered between 7pm-8 pm. At 7:45 received a notification that my ordered is delayed. The items were already shopped. I call the 800 number and the rep stated that the stores pick up is closed now. Why would they have that time slot and later time slots for delivery if the can't do it. I waited all day. I will no longer shop at Walmart. They do not care about their customers at all. I will pay a little more to shop elsewhere. When I shop at Target online they charge less for delivery and they are always on time and I always have a great experience. Every time I shop online for delivery at Walmart they deliver wrong items and spoiled produce and forget items. Lesson learned. read more

I am tired of hearing about their distribution trucks not getting to the store on time. Months of excuses. They can't keep butter and milk on their shelves. Their distribution Source appears to be so far away that when it rains and our town the trucks can't make it for delivery. The addition of this store to my neighborhood has been wonderful. Unfortunately they are unable to keep up with the business that has come to them. And now I am spending hundreds of dollars at their competitor right down the street too bad they could not keep my business. All I want is almond milk and butter. read more

Clean and stocked up here. I am always able to find what I need and the workers here are very helpful and nice. This is by far the cleanest Walmart I've been to. I dropped off my prescription as insurance changed from CVS. Provided insurance info to Carla a week ago and today arrive I am told full price as no insurance. Needless to say not happy as I had to wait for this to be entered. Then staff are NO where as near friendly as CVS on Fowler and Ashlan, nor do they have the convenient hours as CVS. I've been shopping at the one on Willow and Herndon since it opened. I really like the store, it's always clean, the employees are very nice, I can get my groceries and get out super fast. Pretty good selection considering the size of the store, I do 98% of my shopping there. read more

Big thanks to an employee at Walmart neighborhood in Clovis for going out of her way to help me find something in the store. Her name I believe is Ellen. I asked her if they have a cooking twine, she immediately took me to the aisle where she said it was displayed. But when we got there it was all gone . So she apologized that it was all sold out. I Really appreciated her effort. While I was looking for more stuff in the store, Ellen came to me and told me that she found one. I was so happy because she saved me a lot of time by not going to another store to find it on that busy Thanksgiving morning. That's a really good customer service in my opinion. I come here about 4 times a week. Very friendly, nice staff. Prices are lower than Savemart or Von's and I love that they are open 24 hours. They have a surprising lack of "people of Walmart". I would rather go here than Winco or Food Maxx. They have a huge selection of canned and dry foods, but lack in the meat and produce department. read more

Terrible produce. Everything was over ripe or not ready yet. I want to buy produce and eat it that day. The older produce guy doesn't say hi or nothing when you say good morning. I was not impressed with this stores pricing at all. The selection of vegetables and fruits was poor for being located in the California Central Valley that feeds the world. update on the Menudo thing. last I was there, I saw that they now carry a selection of "Juanitas" products. BUT they have them with the soups!! No! No! they will never sell there because they are hidden. please be like Save Mart, Von's, Food Maxx and put them with the Hispanic foods across the aisle. thanks for getting them, but dump the white menudo and get the Chili Verde. no one eats white menudo in Calif. just Texans. you did well, but the Chili Verde is either where I can't find it, or you don't have it. thanks! Loved this place when it first open, but now out of stuff constantly. All health and beauty merchandise is now locked behind glass. You have to wait for someone to open it and stand over you while you get something, then they won't let you have it. It's taken to the front and you have to ask for it when checking out. Ridiculous shopping there now. Not to mention some questionable employees walking around. You have lost a frequent customer to your store! read more

Love this place to do the basic groceries shopping. Checkers though don't really know how to bag properly.

The store itself is ok, clean and orderly even for a Walmart. The problem is that there are only three serviced checkout lines, and I've never seen all three running. If you need to buy alcohol, for example, you have to go through the one or maybe two lines that are open, and more often than not there is some asshole holding up the line because they want to pay with food stamps or bits of string or some other non-currency. I once saw a family buying nothing but Tide, like literally fifty bottles of this stuff. What in the fuck are you doing buying carton after carton of laundry detergent at 1230am, and why in all that is holy are you using a coupon on every. Single. Bottle. Why? What is wrong with you? This phenomenon is particularly acute after 11pm or midnight, or whenever the self checkout lines close. I legitimately feel for the cashiers that have to put up with this crap. Their situation is a fate worse than death as far as I'm concerned. read more
