I've been in the area for several years. I shop Grocery Outlet quite often. For years not much to complain about until recently. Not sure why, but something has definately changed. Last time I was there, I bought several bottles of mustard because the price was good. After I got home I realized they charged me $1.00 more for each bottle. I called and was told they would refund when I brought reciept. I went back a few hours later, bought 4 more and spent the next half hour trying to get my refund and the 4 more for the price marked. They eventually gave me the credit/price, but treated me like I was the bad guy in all this. Before leaving, I suggested they correct the price so no one else goes through this. Then this time I went in to buy muffins. I took a double take on price because there were 2 different prices for exactly the same muffins. I took photos of both and showed to cashier because, of course the highest price came up on the screen. They still went to go look, even with a line of customers, and came back with exactly what I told/showed them. My cashier verified with another cashier on what price to charge and came up with the higher price. I still bought them, but that wasn't right. Again I suggested they fix the issue, so not to have irritated customers. This is very bad customer service lately and I'm hoping they look into what is causing the issue, besides re-training staff on proper customer service. read more

Occasionally one can find good deals here. Not so often lately as their prices are now often higher than the bigger grocery stores in Bend. Inventory is spotty and one must carefully watch expiration dates. Also, many items do not have clearly marked prices. Adding all this together means I shop much less at grocery outlet bargain market in La Pine and find the drive to Bend worth while. read more

I love our local GO! I've discovered SO many new brands, that I normally don't buy, that I now have as faves! There are always great bargains to be found here. It's my favorite grocery store to keep my food and pet supply budgets in line. Right now I'm also loving the garden center, where they always offer quality plants. Very friends staff here too. I love this GO. Great prices and they routinely get high quality inventory in at great prices. One thing about GO is you never go in there with an expectation that you will fill your grocery list, because you won't. I went to this location for eggs 3 days ago and they were $9.49 a dozen. While 2 other stores in town were 3.65 a dozen. Today I went to this location and eggs were 3.49 a dozen. I asked the clerk if someone turned them in for price gouging or why they were almost 300% more 3 days ago. Instead of saying there was a mistake or even a good excuse, he replied well eggs are a commodity, so they change. I said yeah, I'm familiar with commodities since I invest in them, I'm pretty well versed. Commodities don't cost 300% more next door. I had hopes of a fair and honest store when Grocery outlet came to town, but they are just as criminal as the two local grocery stores that I had hoped they would have put out of business. I'm done driving into Lapine for groceries. I guess Bend is a better option. There is nothing Bargain about this market. They won't even pull the expired stuff of their shelves. Karma is a great thing and I can't wait for people to get fed up with this place and shop elsewhere. read more

I'm a fulltime RVer, so I've been in a lot of grocery stores, and this was the worst experience I've ever had! The milk was on its Use By date. The eggs were on their Use By date. Most of the salads were on their Use by dates within a day or two. The Brussels sprouts I wanted to buy were cut open. The package of shrimp I wanted to buy was sliced open. There were no napkins in the whole store. The produce was in rough shape. Every step created another disappointment. We'll be in the area for a couple of weeks, and I WON'T be going back to this store. Thank heavens there are other options in La Pine! read more

This place is totally scattered. Not a lot of selection & the progression of isles makes no sense. I went there for 3 things - cereal, water & a spatula. I walked around the store 3x & never found the water. Finally found an employee & was informed they were on the far side of the checkout. You tell them you want one & pick it up after you pay on your way out. They did not even have a spatula. If you like variety, don't go here. One & done for several items. You buy what they carry or you go without. read more

Checked grocery outlet website it says open till 9 pm drove a 1/2 hour into town to find they really closed at 8pm with a little sign in the window stating winter hours close at 8pm. Just wanted to thank them for wasting my time , and my gas, driving in for nothing. It is march 16 th i would say they have had plenty of time to update their website for winter hours since winter is about over.I Will never make a special trip to this store,Since I can't trust their store hours on their own website. Thanks for everything I will just go to winco instead at least they seem to be open when they say they are. read more

Worst grocery outlet ever! I am normally a huge 5 star fan of grocery outlet, but honestly this is the worst one I have ever been to. I realize it's covid, but the fact that you don't even have a restroom open to your customers is absolutely ridiculous. it seems to be the trend here in lapine. Remind me, to never stop here again and bother to try and put money into some small rural economy, hardly worth the trouble. read more

I always like shopping at the Grocery Outlets - one can get many things at highly reduced prices, and sometimes they are unusual items not readily found elsewhere. Of course, they don't have everything. They deal in over-runs and surplus items, though they try to keep a reasonable selection of produce, cheese, lunchmeats, frozen and canned foods, etc. stocked. If you like something and its a bargain, then stock up on it - it may not be there next time you come. This store opened in early 2017. It's a fairly small Outlet in a small town. But it had some items I haven't seen in the other G.O.s lately and was happy to get. I'll be back when I'm down that way. read more

I had the worst experience I have ever had with an employee. They did not treat me as an employee should at all. I was treated as I was an idiot. I believe his name tag said Eli. I came in to do cans and I had a few bags so I set them in a basket. I was told I was INFECTING the basket with my bags. Whatever that means. Then he proceeded to tell me he knows I have been in here before and should know if my cans are leaking then I will be kicked out. ( I wash my cans out after I finish them) they were only some what wet because it was snowing outside . I responded with ok and respectfully letting him talk to me like this. He then puts bags over my bags and tells me he will be kicking me out. Which I responded with ok again. I wait for my mom and the owner came by and I hear Eli talking about how RUDE I was to him and that I should be kicked out. While all this was happening he was giving me dirty unpleasant looks, this made me uncomfortable to the point where I didn't even bother to shop as I had planned after I was done with my cans. I love this store! I find so many wonderful items here from drug and sundries to great groceries to amazing bargains on great vino! This store is immaculate and everything is stocked and faced well.
