I don't know why the reviews are so low for this Market. It is truly the best market in Willits for lower priced items. Do always check the expiration dates to make sure you are buying a fresh product. They have a big parking lot and many RV's, vans, buses and other recreational vehicles do stop here to shop. You've got to be open minded to shop for unusual and not the big brand products found in larger stores. I've been to quite a few Grocery Outlet stores in Lake, Sonoma and Mendocino counties and have found that this one is the cream of the crop. read more

Whole foods/Sprouts/Trader Joe's are in very inconvenient locations for us and we absolutely love going there for the cool snacks. I'm so glad this played opened up because they have really uncommon snacks for such a good price!!! It's almost like Big Lots but more organized and they do have a small produce section. I absolutely love coming here to find cool, uncommon snacks like beer choices, cheap jerky and spicy terra chips! They also have a very unique choice of cheeses you can buy here as well as cute little gadgets for about $10 or less. The store is also very well-organized and the staff who work here are great and super helpful. The only downfall would probably be their produce section because of some of the fruits and vegetables seem to be on the older side (particularly the strawberries they have there), so I suggest not expecting to have fresh fruits and vegetables-- but they are at a good price, just expect to eat them the day you buy them! read more

I took my family here thinking it was a nice place to shop until I saw something that made me want to vomit. An old homeless woman squatted in the middle of the aisle my kids and I were in and pooped on the floor of the store. I cried to a male employee with blonde buzzed hair to do something and he just laughed at me and said this always happens and that it's quote on quote "Willits life man" I am never going to be returning to this store with my family ever again. read more

This place is such a treat. It's like a treasure hunt, you never know what you'll find that other stores won't or don't carry. There was a guy named Daniel that was super helpful, he was a little odd, but he definitely made my experience at this store super great! It's difficult to find employees like that these days. read more

Not the best grocery outlet I've been to, but it's pretty pleasant! Staff is friendly for the most part, some more than others. Good selection of food, produce, and other household items. Good parking lot. Will be returning! read more

The "manager/supervisor" SHAWN COCHRAN at this location sucks. Horrible customer service, horrible attitude. Claims he knows "the price of every item in this store" but was wrong every time. Owners don't do anything, skip on this location and drive 20 extra minutes to Ukiah to be treated with respect! PS Shawn also uses the register logged in under another persons name and refuses to give his own name or any other members of management. He's the tall one with glasses if anyone else needs his name and came here like I did. read more

Daniel wouldn't sell me bags. I asked for them but he gave me attitude and said "I hoped I wouldn't have to sell any more plastic today" and kept putting my stuff on the counter without giving me any bags. By the time I got all my groceries in the car, my ice cream was melted. My mother checked out right after me and he was very condescending when she hit the wrong button while paying with her debit card. read more

They are horrible to there employees and very rude to customers. Make sure when you are buying the product there to make sure you check everything before you it to make sure there is no mold or its not rotten. read more

This is my favorite store in town. Without exaggeration I can say that I'm probably one if not the top-spending customer. I recently made a purchase to find out that it was foul. I took it back hoping to exchange for the same item or something of equal value. They treated me as if I were s stranger. Told me that they could not exchange for something of equal value or give me a refund without a receipt. Who keeps receipts for groceries? I'm in that store nearly e every day. I am a local and shop here often. I spend a lot of money in this store. I know most of the staff as they are very pleasant people to shop around. Last night I had to make an incident report with the Willits Police Department. The manager Shawn Cochran ripped produce bags from my two young daughters hands 7&8 as he aggressively told them the bags cost money and they are for produce. Mind you I have been over charged on several occasions and pay for more bags than I often use. Customer service should never be handled this way. There is a way to be what I call politely rude. He then took the bags they had made into balloons and popped them in their faces as he laughed. I told him "wow way to pop a child's dream!" He then yelled across the store and told me that if I didn't like shopping there I could go some where else. I have never been treated so disrespectfully. Also why is it ok for an adult manager to touch a child? I have called corporate and encourage others to do the same. I will be reaching out to the owner as well. In addition to this the police told me that they have had several complaints against Shawn! wow! We all love Grocery Outlet here in Willits. We should never have to be treated this way! Horrible person and manager. I will follow this complaint all the way through!!! read more

I've been a regular customer at this store for several yrs. I've had unpleasant experiences with the most recent owner of the store. He has implemented excessive & wrong-headed policies that impose unnecessary burdens upon customers. When his mistakes are pointed out, instead of apologizing, he is sarcastic & rude. The latest fiasco is their recent practice of scanning IDs to buy alcohol. I'm a gray-haired, 65yr old senior, who is obviously over 21. I don't want to be put at risk of ID theft every time I buy alcohol. The cashiers know me & have been satisfied to just see my ID or to tell them my birth date. Today, a young man(who knows I'm a regular customer) insisted on scanning my ID, forcing me to walk out w/o my purchases. I sent an email to their main offices. If they insist on forcing this ridiculous policy upon regular, senior-aged customers, I'm done with them. I'd rather pay a little bit more, than be disrespected & subjected to their bad policies that put us all at risk. read more

I don't know what "person p. " below was talking about in their review 8 months ago !! Unless they changed dramatically this is the best grocery outlet I have ever been to!!! They don't have a huge selection of produce but it's not too small either. Many many organic options and brands. I was really surprised by the multitude of healthy choices that I usually see for 4x the price at natural food stores. *sad to learn that people keep stealing the hand baskets though, I went to find one to do my shopping and the cashier informed me that they continue to get stolen from the store and no more were left for me to use. I stopped going to other supermarkets when I saw this Willits location. Clean and alot of items not in Vallejo store that I quit going to because of the filth and bums. Gourmet items and great beer selection. Seriously I am a lifelong customer. read more

I'm delighted to get fine products for 1/4 of their value or less. Amazing bargains. New stuff continually. You'll be putting on your glasses to be sure you're reading the prices right. Great for staples AND fun snacks. Lots of fresh things. Lots of sugar-free items for those who need that. I'm frankly suspicious of low ratings. Check it out for yourself. I was coming back home FB from Tahoe I realized it was a good idea to go grocery shopping in Ukiah. I just didn't feel like driving backwards so I opted to go to this store. I loved it, I got to use their clean restroom, bought lots of frozen fruits & vegetables, great wine @ a fraction of cost. Chicken, among other meats & cheese. Very friendly staff. I always come here for healthy lunchbox items for my kids. Hormone free jerky, organic chips, organic cheese and lunch meat, organic produce like berries and kiwis, granola bars and nut butters. I usually spend about $200 to last me a couple weeks, but I save about $250! Worth the drive over from fort Bragg, where organic groceries are outrageously priced. read more

Great place to get high end dog treats at a fraction of their regular retail price. Kitty beds and soft fluffy blankies to keep your little guys warm and cozy. And ....always a bountiful selection of holiday items. Produce always seems a bit on the old side though, not up to my snuff! read more

Love going to different Grocery Bargain Outlets as I travel around North Cali. Scooped up several bottles of wine at ridiculous prices. Also love the gluten free options. The best Outlet so far has been the one in Grass Valley because it had some amazing organic cheese. read more

Everything was ok til I went shopping yesterday afternoon noticed about 4 price tags in wrong spots apples were starting to mold on shelf and when I got to the register I noticed something rang up wrong for more then what the shelf label said so the cashier called the manager, older lady short over to go check price she comes back and says "that item actually doesn't have a price tag the one to the left of it is for another item" and puts it right in my face to show me which I though was really rude and I told her that actually wasn't to the left of it it was right in front of it I know what I saw, then she doesn't say nothing to me and turns to the young cashier and asks, are you gonna need me for a void. I thought it was really rude how she handled the situation I was a customer service manager and that's not how you treat your customers, I love in redwood valley and usually drive to ukiah grocery outlet but I went to Willits that day because it's a bigger store but I would rather go to Ukiah Store to be treated better and have a better experience! read more

90% fake processed low quality foods at cheap prices. Yes lets continue to sell poison to families at smaller more appealing prices. The candy isle and wine area always smells like poop from the stinky bathrooms. I really wish that space would have put in a Trader Joes instead. The only reason for two stars is they do have ONE isle that has some health foods available ans gluten free options. read more
