Clean, well organized and a pleasure to shop. Even though they have a little less merchandise, it is so well organized and presented that you really can see sooooo many more things than before! Always friendly and ready to help. Even if they don't have what you want, they will direct you to where you might find it! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! I decided to buy a bag of chips. Then I saw beautifully packaged baklava at the cash register counter. I bought the big gold box full of baklava. Oh wow...just like another reviewer said, these are the BEST baklava I've ever had! These are packaged so nicely, they would make a nice gift too. (Note: The attached picture doesn't include all the baklava that was in the box, because I had already eaten two before I took this picture.)

The closest grocery store was mountain high market and though I was grateful not to have to drive to Lake Arrowhead and back I was disappointed in the high prices and mostly canned and frozen food. Despite the lack of choices, the service here was AMAZING which I have never seen at a grocery store. The couple who ran it offered homemade baklava (which was literally the best I've ever had) and even helped me take my bags to my car IN THE RAIN! Talk about going above and beyond! Also even though the prices were high and the food selection was small it was the best option in the area and the $180 spent on groceries paid for 4 meals plus snacks for 5 people which was a much better alternative than going out for every meal.

Having a vacation home on the eastern side of Lake Arrowhead, I've passed by this Jensen's many…read moretimes on my way through Blue Jay but hadn't visited until this weekend. I was shocked at the actual square footage of this store as it looks much smaller from the street. Additionally, I never noticed they have a Starbucks within. Initially I only intended to stop in for a meager bag of tortilla chips, but I soon found myself walking other aisles just to peruse the variety of goods available. There's a full-service bakery with an impressive display case near the entrance (adjacent to the Starbucks), and the steaks at the meat counter were equally attractive. The deli section was doing a good business with several people in line for sandwiches, and I noticed a hot soup station, as well. I hate shopping at Lake Arrowhead village on weekends due to the traffic and, though this Jensens was doing a very brisk business, the ease of parking is so much better. I have been relying on the little market in Cedar Glen (a former Jensens, ironically) for emergency "basics, " but it's nice to know there is a larger, better-stocked, option available a short five miles distant.

For one the staff was very kind, my sister had told me there's some staff that is moody and unkind and some that is incredibly good natured and kind, I guess I came on a good day! There was an older man and woman there. At one point my kids walked into a section we weren't supposed to and they kindly asked if we'd like to help them work letting us know that wasn't a public area to peruse! My niece found a jacket, I figured would be $15 I brought it to the front and she said my niece could keep it on but could I check the price. I did and it was $7 I was thrilled but then she told me it was half of that! Though the prices are awesome, the staff made it a positive experience! I always appreciate, kind, understanding, hospitalible staff who care about the customer! I meant to write this in May but here it is now:)

Really bad customer service and false advertising. Went there with my family. She's ignoring him while browsing something on her phone. Turns out she was looking for how much the item is selling for online. Then, tells my son that the item was mis priced and that they can't sell it for 2.00 but instead 30.00. So ridiculous! I told her we will not be back and it's shameful to do that to a child! Don't waste your time for a good thrifting experience. I do believe what she did is also illegal. If that's the price it was on the shelf that's the price that should be honored.
