I paid $13,000 - for 8 trees and Derek had to be the most unfriendly, disrespectful and rude businessman I have ever met! The purpose of the tree removal was 2-fold. It was for safety around the home and also to provide LOTS of firewood! He knew this. He never introduced himself - I had to ask who was Derek when I went out to greet all the guys that showed up. Even once he raised his hand he still did not come over to me. I had to go to him and extend my hand to introduce myself. We had not met as this is my daughter & son-in-law's home. I came up from Virginia for this as I was the payor of the services, which he also knew. Derek started cutting the trees as we (my son in law & I were home) expected, including limbs of good size. Then things changed and we saw a number of pieces going into the chipper (easy for them as all they had to do with that was shoot them into the woods). I went out a total of 4 times to ask him to NOT chip those bigger limbs as they were such great pieces of firewood and even asked if they could just cut to pile or leave in on the ground by the tree. His answer repeatedly?: "IF IT FITS IN THE CHIPPER IT GOES IN THE CHIPPER!" Let me reiterate I was paying him $13,000!! I cannot begin to tell you how infuriating he was and what a great disappointment due the amount of firewood we lost due to his lack of giving a damn what the customer wanted. I am going to contact the BBB to file a complaint & to see if we can at least get $$ back due to the cords of wood he chipped. Suzanne French - Candia NH

Can't get a better reference than seeing him do the work before my very eyes! We had him prune a large Maple and a cherry tree. We did the best we could over the years with pruning them ourselves, but one of them is too big for us to handle now and we realize now we were doing an awful job on both. ‍ We really didn't know what we were doing. After seeing all of the work Eric did, we realize how important it is to have a professional prune them now. Eric did a fantastic job and the results were completely unexpected. We have other maples that are too young to prune now, but we will have him prune all the trees from now on.

Micca (sp?) was great at preserving as many trees as possible and advising. He and his crew showed on time, did all work, cleaned very well, talked to neighbors keeping them happy, and was fair with cost. What more could you want ? It was amazing to watch how they worked so well together to safely and quickly remove the tree. They brought in the crane and we didn't have to move anything out of the way. We had a lot of old shrubs dug out, new loam put in and new plants installed, and bark on top of…read morethe loam. It looked nice initially last Fall. It came with a 1 year guarantee on the plants. Several didn't survive the Winter. We wanted the dead shrubs replaced and also wanted to set up monthly or biweekly maintenance of the landscaping with them. I sent many web forms through their web page, called and spoke to people at their office, etc. Finally Ryan came to look at the landscaping. He promised by the end of the week to get back to us with a resolution and proposal for pricing for maintenance. Nothing since then to my email, so I called the office, sent texts to his phone, called his phone, etc. I did manage to get hold of him once and he said he'd sent the estimate by email so I replied that I never got it, and asked if he could just tell me what it would cost, or mail the estimate, or send it again, or as a text attachment. Nothing, and now I can't even get through to him. I have called their main office and had several promises that they or he would be in touch. Well it's been 5 months (and several more calls and texts by me) and I've heard absolutely nothing at all.
