They took a large overgrown mound with thick weeds in our front yard and created an amazing landscaped gem with healthy beautiful new planting, raised stone patio, retaining wall, fire pit and new turf installation. Saved and featured some great plants that were just so covered they couldn't be enjoyed for years and created one of a kind rock features as well using reclaimed rocks dug up from the patio area. Last year, our neighbor had Frank come out to look at a few trees that are on our land that abuts…read moreour neighbor's property. We did not have a very good exchange with him - he was very curt & argumentative when we asked questions. He stated several times that "He was the professional", not us. However while he was here, we did ask him to look at some additional trees on our property (evergreen-types) and some driveway work. He promised to get back to us with the estimates. He sent the estimate but did not include all the work we discussed. We tried contacting him several times but did not receive the information. Additionally, the estimate he provided for the evergreens was 78% higher than another tree service company (that we did end up hiring & they did a fantastic job). Our neighbor ended up contracting with Top-Notch to do their tree work. While Frank & his team were doing that work, they crossed onto our property & was cutting limbs off of our tree. We told him that the agreement with our neighbor was to cut just the limbs that overhung onto their property only (not the tree limbs that are on our property. Frank told us, he did not care & that he was not doing a half-axx job. He & his team kept challenging us & when we spoke to our neighbor, they could not get Frank to do what we agreed to. He said he was going to do the job he was paid for even though the tree did not belong to our neighbor! All in all, it was a very bad experience. Totally, unprofessional.

Matt arrived the same day we contacted him to assess our job. He promised within two weeks to get the job done. Matt's word you can take to the bank. He arrived when he said he would, no deposit required, and did the job in an 8 to 10 hour window. Matt is professional, true to his word, honest and we would hire him again to do any work we have. I called for an estimate, and it was done the same day. His price was well below two other quotes I received. He uses climbing spikes, harness and rope riggings, and is insanely fast at it. We had 5 trees, 2 large oaks and 3 medium oaks to remove. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was done less than 2 and a half hours later. He was very courteous, professional, and even great with my 3 and a half year old son. In the future if I have any more tree work to be done, he will be the first one I call. I have no problem recommending him to anyone needing tree work done.

Can't get a better reference than seeing him do the work before my very eyes! We had him prune a large Maple and a cherry tree. We did the best we could over the years with pruning them ourselves, but one of them is too big for us to handle now and we realize now we were doing an awful job on both. ‍ We really didn't know what we were doing. After seeing all of the work Eric did, we realize how important it is to have a professional prune them now. Eric did a fantastic job and the results were completely unexpected. We have other maples that are too young to prune now, but we will have him prune all the trees from now on.
