The ride to Atlanta was great. The driver was friendly and helpful. Drop off was a bit of a problem but that was because of construction and no fault of the driver. Coming home was a little different. We got in early so we went outside and saw vans but none that said augusta. Thinking that maybe they would come we waited outside until our pickup time since no one at the airport could give us any info on the schedule. To be honest we were a little confused since our pick up numbers which were nowhere near the other groomed pickup vans said 'crew shuttle'. When we were picked up we asked to make a pit stop since we had been outside for quite a long time. It was like we were asking for the moon but she did stop. There were three of us, a single bathroom and she wasn't happy when we returned with a drink and dinner (a cheese stick and popcorn) since all the food counters in the airport were already closed telling us we were in there too long and she could get written up. There was complete silence for the rest of the trip until we pulled into the parking lot and were informed that we were 6 minutes early!!!! Not too sure about doing this again. All I could think about was if one of us had had an upset stomach at that pit stop she probably would have left us since she was so afraid of being late. read more

I took the service and it worked out great for me. On time, and carefree ride to ATL. I rode with them again from Augusta to Atlanta on August 21st, and it could not have gone much better. On-time, is what I asked for, but also got a very comfortable seat and great conversation. read more

Do not take this transportation service!!!! I repeat... Do not take this transportation service. They just want your money. I have used this company several times in the past and it just keeps getting worse. Not only are they overpriced but their service is horrible. That seems to happened when you have no competition. Late departures, late arrivals, customer service hanging up on you, no answers to questions about pick up... The list goes on and on. read more

Driver smells like cigar. Now in addition to the instant headache I now have, I smell like cigar. Never ever again.

I have used Grooome's Airport Shuttle to and from the Augusta office several times and was always pleased with the service. However, my experience this time was far from satisfactory. MY husband and I realized that in our hurry we had left one of our bags at home. It was a small brief case holding 2 laptops. They were important to us as I am a remote worker and planned to be working throughout my time away from home. The driver suggested that we could have the bag put on the next shuttle and that we could pick it up after having checked out bags for our flight and still have enough time to make it through security and get on our flight. That was a great idea and she and I followed up with the dispatcher at the Augusta office. It was all set, or so we thought. About 10 minutes after the shuttle was supposed to leave Augusta the dispatcher called me to let me know that that shuttle had been full and there was no room for my very small bag! Seriously?!? In the end a wonderful friend had to pick it up and drive it to the airport for us. The real let down was that a fellow passenger on our shuttle had a friend on the one that was supposed to bring my bag and that shuttle was quite empty, only 5 passengers. I recently used Groome Transportation Augusta, GA to Atlanta airport. The driver was polite and on time. My car was safe in their parking lot while I was away. My returning flight was 45 min. late, yet they were there waiting for me. I highly recommend their shuttle service and will use it anytime I have to travel. The price was less than if I drove myself and paid parking. All in all a great deal read more

Groome Transportation Was amazing!! Our company originally went with another transportation company in the area ( I wont name names but will also be writing a less than favorable review for them) to transport five colleagues and youth to Atlanta for a conference in a 12 Passenger company van. On the day the other company was pick the individuals up; they showed up with old crown Victoria from their fleet and a personally owned beat up and rusted out 1996 Toyota, driven by the company owners sister!! Needless to say that can be dangerous for anyone and a liability, when transporting young teens. Anyhow, we contacted Groome, last minute, to find if they could accommodate us. They did everything in their power to do so, including picking up the group from their site, which typically needs 48 hours advance notice. They also were able to pick up the group from the hotel in Atlanta to return to Augusta. Groome Transportation is a lifesaver! read more
