Very nice for the price! The room was beautiful, roomy, had a seating area and all accommodations Warm and friendly staff. The breakfast was more than the usual cereal and pastries which was nice. The biscuits were very good! I love that they have mentally disabled employees working. I used to work with them and they are such precious people I will be looking for your hotels. I stayed in two different ones here in Augusta this week and I was beyond impressed!!!

Great place to stay! Large clean rooms with comfortable beds and most importantly, no creepy crawlies! I think I have a new go to! I'm in Augusta a lot and usually stay at one of two other motels. The one has uncomfortable beds n the other has had recent bed bug problems. I DON'T DO BED BUGS! So, first off, no creepy crawlies here. Not a one I could see. I had researched this and another possible property prior to arrival n I was torn at which one to stay. I chose Baymont for the simple fact that it was closest to my destination. I arrived shortly after 3 and nearly changed my mind. The front desk clerk was going to give me a queen because no kings were clean yet....did I mention it was after 3pm. Ok, I'm willing to wait, when the clerk says 40 minutes. Ok I'll wait as I consider an exit strategy. So then he says king on second floor? Fine at least it's a king. He must have read my face cause next thing I know I'm in a king on the 1st floor within 20 minutes of arrival. Large, nice, clean room. 10 foot ceilings with kitchenette and college dorm sized fridge. Bed, very comfortable. I'm a recliner sleeper and dread hotel stays because I can never get any rest. I was actually able to sleep on this bed n wake without any aches n payne's I usually get with beds. Some noise bleed through from other guests but to be expected and very much within tolerance level. Bathroom was surprisingly small considering the size of the room. One of the few minuses, the toilet seat height was uncomfortably low to the ground and the toilet paper is mounted awkwardly behind you. Good shower water pressure and steady/consistent temperature (no toilet flush fluctuations). Tub could have used some non slip devices although a safety bar was mounted in the shower. Breakfast consisted of general continental fair plus scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy. The eggs were great. The sausage was undercooked and cold, great way to get people sick. The biscuits n gravy would have been good, but the biscuits were garbage. They looked undercooked and were hard and cold. The hot breakfast definatly needs work! Checkout went off without a hitch. The checkout woman managed to email me my portfolio on the first try, which seems to be a challenge for most check out clerks in the past. Also, this place apparently employs special needs workers. I witnessed an off going manager interacting with a group of them that she apparently shuttles to and from work and it looked like she went into her own pocket to buy the whole group frosty's (ice cream treats) after work. Very impressive! I will be staying here again.

We decided to avoid the interstate motel roulette wheel and spend the night at the Partridge Inn…read more Pulling up, things looked promising. The valet folks were friendly, everybody smiled, and for a moment I thought we might have stumbled onto one of those places where Southern hospitality still gets practiced instead of just printed on brochures. The inn itself has that old-school charm. The front porch alone looks like it has stories to tell, and most of them are probably better than the ones you'll hear at the average chain hotel breakfast buffet. The room was nice enough, though getting to it felt a little like a low-impact obstacle course. After stepping off the elevator, there were three steps to negotiate before reaching the room. No big deal. I shuffled the luggage and carried on. Then I discovered the room itself was split-level, complete with three more steps. That arrangement seemed perfectly reasonable until the 3 a.m. trip to the bathroom, when those same steps suddenly became an adventure sport. One suggestion: every room ought to have a proper nightstand and a place to charge the electronic gadgets that have become attached to modern Americans like an extra limb. We may not all travel with a typewriter anymore, but most of us carry enough electronics to launch a small satellite. Things got a little more interesting when hunger arrived. We tried to make restaurant reservations through the Resy link on the hotel's website. No luck. The restaurant wasn't listed. Fine. Technology fails. It happens. So I called the restaurant. No answer. Turns out the restaurant number appears to be the same as the front desk. I left a message and waited about 45 minutes for a callback. Never got one. Again, no big deal. DoorDash and an Indian restaurant came to the rescue. While pondering the mystery of the missing callback, I found myself staring out the window. That's when I noticed the paint splatters and streaks all over the glass. Now, I don't know who handles maintenance around there, but somebody needs to explain that painting a window and cleaning a window are two entirely different activities. And that's really the story of the Partridge Inn. Nice people. Pleasant room. Plenty of charm. But charm can only carry you so far when attention to detail keeps missing the bus. The little things matter because they add up. The unanswered phone, the broken reservation link, the paint on the windows, the awkward room layout--they're all small by themselves. Together, they're enough to make me appreciate the stay but probably not enough to make me come back for another one.

Stayed here for 1 night in July 2025…read more TL;DR: way more good than bad here. Clean, comfortable, spacious room (mine was a king so your mileage may vary). Great staff. Would have no issue booking here again. The Good: *The staff is incredibly friendly. Everyone I had the pleasure to interact with was wonderful! *The water pressure was great *The bed was comfortable, not the best, but better than most hotel beds I've slept in. *The king bed room had a chaise, and it wasn't uncomfortable for the hour I used it to watch the GIANT television * microwave and refrigerator! The okay: *Breakfast was your typical included hot hotel breakfast. Nothing spectacular but does its job. The bad: The windows lack a way to block out sunlight during the day. It had a pull down translucent white shade and a heavier, opaque pull down shade. The issue is way too much light bleeds in around the edges. Made my attempted nap be just that, attempted. *The tub was a little damaged and chipped. The floor of the tub felt a bit unstable, but I didn't feel unsafe. It just "gives" a little, if that makes sense. While I'm not rating as good or bad, but there were some weird pieces of wood in the corner by the door that seemed like a contractor didn't clean up and neither did anyone else (pic provided).

There's the main house (which I honestly don't know if there are guest rooms in the main house, but I would think so) and then there are additional rooms around the back. The bathroom was also spacious and and a big and deep jetted tub, which was an unexpected bonus. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The inn is conveniently located to eateries etc. For my solo traveling girlies: + I don't believe the Inn is staffed all night. I was checking in around 5:30pm and the Innkeeper texted me to let me know they had a meeting and wouldn't be there upon arrival. I actually called the front desk to advise them that I was making a late reservation but was fully intending to come. At NO time did she indicate they were under construction. I arrived at about 0200 and found that the entire lobby was a construction zone. Significantly, I am handicap. They were in the middle of renovating and it was litterally treacherous. I spoke to the front desk clerk (really the night auditor) and she offered to cancel my reservation so I could go elsewhere but I was a ZOMBIE and she assured me the floor in which she was assigning me (3rd floor) was newly renovated. I took the room. The floor/room was fine. The air quality and rest of the hotel was a construction nightmare. Dust, dangerous walking paths and by the time I woke up, I was having a hard time breathing and need to use my inhaler for the first time in almost 1 year. I am NOT a Karen. I used Marriott Bonvoy points (19k if I recall correctly) and was very disappointed with my stay. I wrote in to ask for a replenishment of my points at Bonvoy Customer Service and fully expected to be replenished. Shockingly, the hotel's response was that I was advised of the construction and basically flipped me the bird with a Caveat Emptor and refused to return my points. Suffice to say, I was pissed. I escalated the issue with Marriott Bonvoy and as one would expect from an awards program like Marriott, they immediately replenished my points. In the meantime, beware of this property. It is a franchise location and the owners seemingly lack the commitment to excellence and top customer service one usually associates with Marriott properties. Everyone I encountered while I was on property was kind, professional and highly apologetic. They had apparently been forced to master that behavior. Now that construction is done, I wanted to share this story and make sure that my Bonvoy colleagues realize that leopards never change there spots and that, if requiring accomodations in the Augusta airport area, give careful consideration about choosing another Marriott property.
