Most recently, Amanda...Owner completely "Scalped" my poor 16 month old dog. I have attached a picture. My Dog suffered: razor burns, contusion & 2 trips to the Vet. I spoke to Tim/Owner, and he denied everything, of course. Rather than take responsibility for their horrific work, and harm to my dog, he was super nasty to me. Their complete lack of maturity and customer service was very shocking to me, and it cost over $200 in Vet Bills + the cost of grooming. I tried to resolve this serious experience with both Owners ... to no avail.

Her English was not very good, so I was apprehensive if she understood my directions for grooming my dog. My dog is a unique breed that is to be trimmed a certain way. I asked her if she had ever groomed this breed and she said yes. I told her specifically to not cut my dog's eyebrows, but she did. She also shaved her too close on her head and ears, causing several nicks and unevenness. The groomer did not even trim her tail at all! Needless to say, I doubt I will be taking my dog there again.

We take our time, make sure that we're patient with them and kind. Working with rescues gives you a different look on grooming. In general. Most people just try to rush the dog out and get the money as fast as possible. Here at Debbie's Doggie Spa, we know these are your loved ones & babies, so we aim to make your pet feels comfortable as possible during the grooming process. They don't spend a lot of time in the kennels, and we try not to have too many dogs at once. A lot of noise can bother the animals as well. So as you can tell we have been grooming a long time, and in that time we've learned to work around the animals and not try to push them out of their comfort zone. When you do that it scares them and it can cause anxiety problems and just fear of grooming in general.

WE happened to be in town for the day and Mugsy was long overdue for grooming so I called around…read moretrying to get him a walk-in appt. Doggy D'tails was able to get us in within a satisfactory time. Minature poodle cut was $44 and that is reasonable. The cut was fabulous and very happy with it. My only complaint is they didn't trim his nails. Place was very clean and staff very friendly. They are now located at 701 Thunderbird Hill drive and is a little hard to find so ask if you aren't sure where they are.
