I have been going to Groovy grooms for about two years, for my sweet girl Bella. But the last 2-3 times the cuts have not been up to par, in my opinion. She looks uneven, chopped, not professional groomed. Her face is not a clean cut. There are areas where it is bare, pink skin. My dog Zack is a rescue dog and he has anxiety problems and fears ,he is a one person dog. I tried for months to find a groomer who would have the heart and patience for my baby and I found her a Groovy Groomer, he was so matted and I couldn't get him treated. She is Miranda. You are amazing and you did an awesome job on Zack and we will see you soon. Do not come here! I've been taking my dog here to get groomed for the last couple of years. The service keeps getting worse. It usually takes 2 hours but today I decided to go see him after 3 hours and didn't get a call to pick him up. The lady said my dog didn't like the dryer and they were waiting for him to dry- like what?! It's been 3 hours! Every time I picked him up before, the groomer always said he did good so what kind of lame excuse was that. I even saw people who came after me pick up their dog. I waited about 45 minutes. I finally paid and left. I should have checked my dog's cut. I checked my dog when we got home and he is so uneven; some parts shaved down to his skin. They even cut his snout. There is still hair between his paws. I am livid! Do yourself a favor and do not come here!! read more

Took my dog here the other day for a simple haircut. Was not worth any bit of the $90 we paid. Rude staff, took 2 hours longer than they said, and missed multiple spots while grooming. My first visit to Groovy Grooms was not the experience I expected. I would not return to this business personally for a number of reasons and I will personally take some of the blame. I brought my dog in for a groom and it was nice clean presentation upon entering. However I asked for bath, cut, nail clip and a deshed. I did let her know my doodle was intimidated by the dryer she said no problem if she seems highly stressed she may need to be sent home. I was called my dog was ready for pick up and hit with a hefty bill. Spa package starting at 145 and additional for a deshed and extra brush out. Total coming to 177$ with a $2 credit card fee. Obviously I paid because I did receive a service and my fault for not asking for prices ahead of time. The original dog groomer I normally take my dog to charges me $95 for the same services. For this reason I will not return and continue to go out of my way to my orginal dog groomer. Thank you Groovy Grooms but no thank you. read more
