The upstairs gallery was closed when we were there, so we just browsed the shop, which is full of all sorts of beautiful ceramic items like tiles, vases, art, and more. I liked seeing all the different pieces but nothing really shouted out to me. The animal tiles were probably my favorite. I also liked the house number tiles. They also had other non-ceramic items for sale, like earrings, puzzles, calendars, cards, etc. It is a nice place to find gifts! They also do classes and workshops, which sound fun! This isn't a spot that I need to visit every time I'm in the area, but it was fun to finally check out.

Another great thing about this hidden gem is that it's free to enter. We even had a chance to chat with the lady at the counter and learned a bit more about the fascinating glass dome. Apparently, it just underwent renovations in 2024, replacing the glass and exterior panes. It's one of the oldest running conservatories in the United States. Honestly, you'd have to visit several times to truly appreciate the beauty and respect the gardens and waterfalls to take it all in. I was blown away by its magnificent collections and huge palms just to name one of the fascinating eye-catching features. More than a reason to return, I'd love to learn more about the history and explore the outside gardens when they're in bloom.

They played as I walked down the aisle, at my reception and after they played their two sets, they spun some rad 80's tunes per my request. My vintage themed wedding was complete....I swear Frank Sinatra (Paul King) was crooning as we got our swing on. Guests raved...and as a bride it was one of the highlights to my big day...I wish I could have pulled up a chair and watched in wonderment with my full attention. If you love the Rat Pack, Count Bassie and, Cab Calloway, you have got to check out RSO! If I was in Michigan, I would go to all the battle of the bands and swing events with RSO, and I would be the first one there. Gary was great to communicate with...very professional...and very helpful! He even got a hold of my venue managers that were a tad aloof... RIP to the sound guy and DJ, Chris Best, he was shot and killed the weekend after our wedding.... Big love to this Big Band!!!
