You can purchase tickets at the station before board the trolley you can also purchase the Pronto cards that you can load and use for the trolley they can be used on the trolley. Even considering that, you will still need to walk a bit to get to wherever you are trying to get to since this actual station is so big with it's parking area. Overall, I feel this location could have been better off a couple blocks over or at least have the actual stop closer to traffic so you don't feel so isolated from the actual area.

For the many restaurants and the pubs they have you find some them are the small hole in the wall to the brewery of the Curbside Pub Restaurant that has some of the best hamburgers . The large clocktower below there is the Goodwill store where you can find many things to create one of the creative costumes. For the May times that I have rode the trolley to Santee Town Center there will be a new trolley the Copper Line will be servicing the city. If you need to get on the Green Line you can board there and if you need to transfer to the Orange you can do that Grossmont Transit center. With the many valleys there are a few that have the same size and the shape of the Amya Transit Center it has one thing that is nearby. For those that may have the clue and the location is near to the Fashion Valley and the Hazard center Trolley centers you have to take a look at the clues you may miss the markers and the close connection to Amya that has the same resemblance to a certain Mission Valley Station. Amya Station is one place that may students use and when the station was being built for the trolley line Amya was one that so many tried the trolley for the first time it was an ease and relaxing trip. The Amya Transit Center used to have o its own but stop and the many changes had affected the connections to the many areas of Fletcher Hills and Navajo the many areas that are around the trolley center can be one big valley of Condos and the many apartments. With the many things that had happened from the storm that the San Diego Trolley had helped with the remodel and the reconstruction of the many stations for the one station which had great damage was the El Cajon Transit Center with the mudslide that had slowed the trolley. Amya Transit Center was able to get back to the business at hand with more changes in the wind the many signs that are alerting the new changes and the switch overs for the Green and the Orange Line. The station serves the Alvarado Medical Center, which is across the street from the station. There is not very much to see or do around this station, but a unique and noticable feature of the station is a riddle engraved into the tiles on the wall that separates the station from Interstate 8 freeway. The riddle is more conspicuous when standing on the eastbound platform. Roman De Salvo created this public art installation in 2005. The riddle can possibly entice transit riders into looking around for its answer while waiting for a train to pull into the station. The answer to the riddle is found on a handrail at the east end of the station, engraved in Braille. Although there is limited street parking around the station, there is no transit parking at the site. Parking is available at 70th Street Station, which is the next station east of this station.

I would say it's probably a lot better than some of the other trolley stations in San diego. I would say that I feel actually a tad bit safer at this particular location. As safe as I feel at this trolley station I wouldn't recommend being at any trolley station late at night by yourself in general. This location also isn't conveniently located close enough to any stores or anything super convenient. Unless you want to go to the gas station, which that's probably like a 10 to 15 minute walk from this trolley station depending on how fast you walk.

My wife and I were looking for a cheaper way to fly to Cancun and we're so glad we found out about…read moreCBX. Not only was it a way to drastically cut our expenses (domestic flights from within Mexico are obviously way cheaper than international flights from LA), but it was such a calm, streamlined, easy operation. We got to the parking lot early for our 7am flight out of Tijuana, walked to the check in terminal & that's where we encountered our one and only 'hiccup.' Because we had 3 children with us, the Viva desk check-in said we needed to speak to a representative but we were told the only one on duty at that time was in the restroom. Luckily the stand alone kiosk on the other side of the area worked out fine. All of this was more of a Viva issue than a CBX one. We breezed through the bridge over the boarder & customs took no time at all. It was one of the quickest customs experiences I've ever had. We got dumped out right at the bag check area & were on for our trip. Coming home was just as easy. We got our bags and followed the well marked signs to CBX to walk over the boarder & do customs. Customs took a tad bit longer than going to Mexico, but that's more of a US thing than CBX. We still got through in was less time than expected, even when arriving on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend when I would normally expect huge crowds of people trying to get in to the country. In all, we saved hundreds of dollars even after paying for CBX & parking on location. We will always be using them from here on out for any family trips to Mexico.

I have flown out of the Tijuana airport a few times in my life, the most recent time being last…read moreweek. It was the first time I went to that airport since CBX had been constructed. Hubby and I were headed to Puerto Escondido, which is very expensive and very time-consuming to fly to from the airport in San Diego. However, flight prices and times were much more reasonable from Tijuana. Thanks to CBX, we didn't need to find anyone to cross the border and drive us directly to the airport, especially as our flight departed at 5:40 AM. It was nice to have an easy drop off on this side of the border. Anyway, we were dropped off on the US side, and had pre-purchased CBX tickets online for $50 per person, round trip. I felt that the price was very fair for the staffing and amenities along the way. We had already reserved a rideshare to drive us to CBX, but I saw the secure parking lots and realized that parking there is also a valid, safe option. It appeared that some of the secured parking cost about $30 per day, making it a good option depending how may days you would like to park your car. Anyway, when we entered, there were people guiding us, as it wasn't too crowded at that early hour. You scan your CBX ticket, your boarding pass, and your passport. Then you are able to walk through the barriers. There are escalators and elevators to get to the bridge, and signs stating that there is assistance available for people with disabilities. The bridge was clean and air-conditioned. We walked through customs just prior to entering the Tijuana airport. When I had learned about CBX, I was reluctant. A friend of mine told me that she had walked much further in various airports. It is true. The walk is short and easy Upon coming back to the states, we learned that there were several taco and other food trucks on the US side of CBX, as well as Starbucks and a well-known mall pretzel company. All in all, I am grateful to have a way to access the TJ airoprt in a very easy and affordable way. I plan to continue to use CBX for more affordable flights south of the border.
