Well my story started 2/15/2024. Went for glasses and they said instead I was getting cataract…read moresurgery. They said it would be a two week ordeal. I'd see better than i have ever seen before. So I got cataract surgery on the first eye. This was done by Dr Molly Walsh. Woke up couldn't open the eye. Then when I could open it I only could see white. Went 3 weeks of multiple visits to the office being told they didn't know why the swelling would not go down. Unable to see the surgeon because she was on vacation for 3 weeks. When I finally saw her she said I needed to wait 2-5 months and she guaranteed I'd see again. That she's been doing this for 20 years and she knew what she was talking about. I was so upset when I left there I was in tears. I went for a second opinion. The dr said I needed a cornea transplant because the cornea was damaged during the cataract surgery. Of course Walsh said nothing about it being damaged during surgery. He set me up to go to Indy to get it fixed. After multiple trips to Indy, staying for a week at a time at my own expense mind you, my eyes are finally fixed. I have been trying for months to get this eye dr to give me the card that I'm supposed to carry in my wallet at all times. This card should have been given to me the day of the surgery 2/15/2024. They keep passing the blame to the surgery center. The surgery center blames the Dr. I don't care who was supposed to give it to me. Someone needs to get me the card. They need to order another set of the exact lenses that they put in my eye and give me the card out of the box. It's supposed to be in my wallet. Definitely a shit show. Tired of this crap and am about to hire a lawyer. The date today is 11/22/2024. 9 Months of crap because of this place. Get your stuff together people. You are messing with people's sight and livelihoods.

The eye doctors where I am need my records faxes to them. When I tried the option for eye emergency, because it is, I get transferred to voicemail again. No one ever answers any option except emergency, and they transfer you to a voicemail. Find someone else if you expect follow up or aid with issues after your surgery is done.

While doing my exam she forced me by using her hands to push me to fit into the machine, which hurt. I like Dr Snachez she is knowledgeable.Very approachable.Important for a doctor. She answers my questions and concerns. She is friendly. She is easy to talk to.This was my third visit. I ordered non glare prescription eye glasses. 2 weeks to come in. Low marks due to lackluster staff not doctor. Don't hold this against them all in all got the job done.

They sell "not your boring" frames. I like that I don't see 10 other people with my frames. Convenient location right on Main Street next to Starbucks (bonus). The parking lot is small for the number stores and can be frustrating. But once you are there your experience makes up for the challenge. I have been going to Eye Site Optical and can't imagine going anywhere else.
