Was in Conway today for the craft beer festival, we go every year. And every year check out old town Conway to see what they have to offer! Found this place today, never saw it before. We like to try new places near by so thought we would try. Four of us, sat down and in no time we were taken care of for our drink order. Now I like to eat, and Guy has nothing on me when it comes to tasting a great sandwich! My buddy got a Ruben, the wife got a BLT club, our daughter a baby sub, and I got a corned beef on rye. Super! One of the better deli sandwiches I have got since I have been down south. Everyone said their order was delicious, and raved about it. My sandwich was very good, thick and very filling. Always nice to get a sandwich that you can eat and really enjoy! Service was great, and the price was not over the top for the great deli sandwiches we got for lunch. Never going back. You would think that a Deli that has been around since the 1940's would know a thing or two about sandwich making. Apparently not! My husband and I both ordered the HOT Pastrami sandwich but we got a very COLD Pastrami sandwich. The server did offer to take it back but if they can't get it right the first time are they going to get it right the second time? So many other choices in Downtown Conway. read more

Super yummy spot! Idk what they do to their bread but its so good! It tastes fresh. Also their coleslaw is green but delicious! It tastes like they add a lot of different spices and onion to it yumm :) They also have fresh cookies and brownies we couldn't resist and also took some home.. I love Groucho's location in Conway and the use of our downtown river district buildings. Very nice atmosphere and the wait staff were a lovely group of young ladies. I had the Grilled Chicken Salad and my lunch date had the Chicken Critter. The portion was big but it was only iceberg lettuce, pile of diced tomatoes on right and diced cucumbers on the left with what looked like a boiled piece of chicken in the middle drizzled with honey mustard tasting sauce. I love and eat salads at all types of restaurants and while the taste was good, the nutritional value left a lot to be desired. I would have liked more vegetables and healthier lettuce. The chicken was not grilled and it was a slimy texture. My lunch date thoroughly enjoyed her chicken sandwich, especially the Pumpernickel bread. One main item which helped earn a 3rd star was the sweet tea. It was on point! I will return and try and sandwich next time! read more

My husband likes to try new places for lunch to expand his choices and get away from fast food and typical hamburger joints. He and my son were in the area of Groucho's Deli and decided to try them out. Disappointing does not even begin to describe what they paid over $18 for. One sandwich was on a cheap, thick sub bun, about 5 inches. It had a small amount of meat and melted cheese. No lettuce, tomato, onion, or any other topping and the sauce was Groucho's house sauce in a packet. The other sandwich was on a hamburger bun that was basically the same except it did have a small piece of wilted lettuce, and came with a small bag of chips with the Groucho's logo, and a small pickle. They both said these sandwiches were the worst they have ever had from a deli/sub business. Needless to say, that was their first and last visit to Groucho's, and are spreading the word to their working friends who also are looking for good lunch places. They noted that the oversized containers for their sandwiches, the potato chip bag, and the sauce, all had the Groucho's logo, and suggested this deli may want to spend less on their logo and up grade their food with the saved money. read more
