Went here for the first time. One thing I didn't like is I had to go to the bathroom and while I was in the bathroom I could hear like I was actually sitting in the kitchen and whoever was over there was very loud and every other word out of their mouth was the F word it was a little unsettling since my young grand daughter went in before me. Our waitress was a older lady super nice in the beginning she actually sat beside us and told us what her favorite dishes were and we told her we needed a minute and she left, my daughter-in-law literally came out of the bathroom and she came over the table and said are you ready yet? I said no we still need a minute. She just got out of the bathroom. When we ordered my son and I ordered the same sandwich, my son asked her can we do an up charge and get the disco fries instead of plain fries? She said yes you can do that. I said I'd like to do that too and she said OK. when our food was brought out my son and I had plain fries when she came back a few minutes later we said these were supposed to be disco fries and she said very rudely well you didn't ask for them like that, my son and I said yes we did and she said you asked me? and we said yes and you wrote it down and she walked away a few minutes later, we get two plates of disco fries, which were delicious. she didn't come back to the table to ever check on us after that and to be honest, I was kind of afraid to ask for anything else. I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was a little dry. I would've liked some extra sauce. We didn't get a bill. We used the little table top thing to pay and when the receipt printed I was like oh my gosh I got charged $20 for two orders of french fries. So my husband asked a younger girl what the cost was for an up charge to disco fries and she said we don't do that and he said oh that would've been nice to know. The funny thing is while we were sitting there the Table next to us ordered got their food and they all three said we're supposed to have the disco fries too. How did the waitress mess up on that. I wasn't happy about having to pay $20 for french fries that just had gravy and cheese. I would not have ordered that them and certainly not two orders. She should've said if you wanted it as appetizer I'll get you the appetizer but no, you can't up charge to disco fries and she didn't have to be so rude. read more

I came here to order some sandwiches for lunch. The sandwiches were really good (I had the Leone sandwich, which I'd recommend). However, service was REALLY slow.. we waited about 30 minutes for 4 sandwiches, and this was after the lunch rush (ordered around 1 pm, left at 1:30-1:40th). I'd go back during off-hours or maybe order online if you can, but there wasn't a strong sense of urgency. Went in for breakfast with hubby and brother-in-law while visiting the area. This deli has only been open for four months and it is a wonderful find in historic Conway. The interior is bright and cheerful, with tables on each side for dining in. We ordered the traditional NJ breakfast sandwiches - pork roll (from Taylor Hsm brand, egg and cheese on rolls for the guys, and I ordered the Avocado toast (sourdough) with an scrambled egg whites. Service was quick, and food was terrific! The cashier was friendly and we spoke to the owner who was actually from the same town I worked at when I lived in NJ. Small world! We will make this our go-to place for breakfast and lunch while in town. We heartily recommend you do too. read more

Visiting from the west coast and we dropped in to pick up sandwiches for later. It has a great "neighborhood deli" vibe. It's decorated very nicely but it's rather small so seating at lunchtime can be a challenge. The menu is large with sandwiches, burger etc. The service was good. Even for lunch hour the service was quick and friendly. We both had the "build your own" sandwich. I chose roast beef, it comes on fresh Italian bread. The beef was absolutely delicious and the mozzarella cheese is fresh also. The portions of meat is substantial so I ended up making two meals of my sandwich. My wife had pastrami and she said was also delicious. The sandwiches cost $12 which include a drink and a bag of chips. You will struggle to find a better bargain anywhere. They didn't know if they had Swiss for my main street and offered american which I declined. I asked for provolone and they didn't have that either. Suddenly they found Swiss? The best sandwich I have had locally and worth the drive no matter where you live in the area!! My husband saw a photo of a Leone's sandwich online...piled high with meat, fresh mozz, arugula, pesto, balsamic drizzle, etc. and we had to go. When we arrived, we showed the Leone's crew the sandwich photo and were told it was being called "the Facebook" (as it is now known) since it was not listed on their actual menu. Knowing Jimmy and Ann Marie for over 35 years, i knew this venture was more than business, it IS a passion for both. I met a buddy there, we let Jimmy pick our sandwich. I had ham and turkey on very fresh Italian bread with specially made garlic mayo which was OUTSTANDING. NOW i can eat a whole / giant JM sub, I had to bring half of this home to enjoy later. It is a very extensive menu with many choices. The owner delivered our sandwiches to our table. The setting is classic NY deli with a visible meat case for choices. Prices are more than fair, Conway is a quaint town with a lot of great shopping, and marvelous decorations this time of year. The 50-minute drive from Pawleys Island was definitely worth it. Nice place, clean and the help is friendly. Out of all of the pork roll sandwiches i have had from businesses, Leone's had the least amount of pork roll. They have it cut thin to cook it quicker probably, but 3 or 4 slices only on the sandwich. If you are going to slice it thin, i would suggest putting a bit more pork roll on the sandwich. Went to Leone's Deli yesterday for lunch. We ordered one sandwich to share. After ordering, I asked if we could have some water to drink. The cashier gave us warm tap water with no ice in paper cups. The water looked yellow. The restaurant was freezing. It is early May, and the weather outside is in the 70s with no humidity, and Leone's had their air conditioning set on high. It was too cold for us to comfortably enjoy lunch, so we changed to take it to go. It was $18.00 just for the sandwich - which was really blah. The bread was not fresh, nor was the roast beef. They piled the shaved roast beef so high that it was impossible to eat. We ended up taking out a good portion of the meat and threw it away. It is supposed to be Boar's Head, but it really didn't taste like it. Maybe it was old. Anyway, the sandwich was dry and didn't have good flavor. It was about noon, but they weren't that busy. The 5 or 6 staff (maybe some of them came over from Leone's Italian Restaurant across the street) were yucking it up behind the counter. No one was making anyone's order, yet it took 25 minutes to get our sandwich. Weird. I also don't understand why they charge so much for their food. They could put half the meat on it (using fresher meat) and charge $5 less and they would still make money. Instead, they overcharge and put too much on the bread only for us to throw it away. Sad little place - makes me not want to try the restaurant. I miss the Local Deli - at least their sandwiches and bread were fresh. read more

The sandwiches are great, however every time I have ordered from an app for pick up, they have messed up my order. Last time I ordered it was clear they put the wrong ingredients on my breakfast sandwich and wiped it off, using the same bread. I get messing up the order, but not reusing the bread with the wrong condiments and cheese badly wiped off and still half there. As someone with food allergies, it makes me leery about contamination.
