Went in for breakfast with hubby and brother-in-law while visiting the area. This deli has only been open for four months and it is a wonderful find in historic Conway. The interior is bright and cheerful, with tables on each side for dining in. We ordered the traditional NJ breakfast sandwiches - pork roll (from Taylor Hsm brand, egg and cheese on rolls for the guys, and I ordered the Avocado toast (sourdough) with an scrambled egg whites. Service was quick, and food was terrific! The cashier was friendly and we spoke to the owner who was actually from the same town I worked at when I lived in NJ. Small world! We will make this our go-to place for breakfast and lunch while in town. We heartily recommend you do too.

We are starving for good deli and cheesesteaks

Nice, freshly made sandwiches and Cheesesteaks. Vegetarian options available. Television is a little loud.

If you're looking for an awesome Deli, look no further. I had "The Leone", Chicken Cutlet, fresh Mozzarella, Roasted Red Peppers & Arugula and it was awesome. This Long Island Girl loved it and will definitely be back!

    Pure deliciousness!!!

The best sandwich I have had locally and worth the drive no matter where you live in the area!! My husband saw a photo of a Leone's sandwich online...piled high with meat, fresh mozz, arugula, pesto, balsamic drizzle, etc. and we had to go. When we arrived, we showed the Leone's crew the sandwich photo and were told it was being called "the Facebook" (as it is now known) since it was not listed on their actual menu. It was spectacular and we've been back several times to share this place with others. Thank you Leone's!!!

Was always good now burnt. Won't come back

They change cooks. Food was great now I wouldn't go back especially for the price. Had wrong menu up on counter..prices increased..

Hefty portions and delicious flavor. If you go, this is what you should eat. If you ignore my advice, the meatball sub barely has any sauce and the pizza is just fair. So don't ignore my advice. Get the calzone or stromboli. We had the Grand Strand attractions BOGO coupon (good for up to $18.95), but they applied it to the lowest priced item (a kids meal for only $8.75). So just be aware if you try to use one. They also brought out all our food as it was ready. So every one got their food very warm, but I waited at least 5-10 minutes after the first person got theirs. Another positive note is that they provided complimentary garlic knots. A nice little unexpected perk. So again all in all, I probably would have only given them a 4, but this was a 6 out of 5 calzone, so it ended up a 5. But remember get the calzone or the Stromboli if you want the best meal.

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!

This evening was a very good experience, mostly. Let's get the less than positive out of the way. We made reservations for 5PM. We were out and about and got there about a half an hour early. Walk in, spoke with the hostess and explained we knew we were early. (By the way, there were very few people in the restaurant at the time). The Hostess, an older female with longish greying hair, huffed then showed us to a table. She at least took us to an outside table as we requested. She never identified herself. And honestly we felt as if we were bothering her. Ok, enough of that. Now the positive. Our server was Taylor. This young man was awesome. He was upbeat and personable. Very pleasant and wanted to communicate, not just serve us. My wife and I asked for water, and ordered an appetizer of their Mac and Cheese balls. They were awesome. Hot, fresh, stuffed with pasta and warm flavorful cheese. Next we ordered cocktails. My wife ordered a Painkiller. Me an Old Fashion. Taylor recommended I try their version, New Fashion. Made with their mix of a house Bourbon. Man it was good. And the Painkiller? Let's just saw I held my wife hand, and guided her to our vehicle. For our main courses, my wife had the chicken and sausage pasta. I had the Bison Ribeye. Both we would order again without hesitation. The pasta dish was huge. With two breasts and numerous pieces of sausage. Over Fettuccini style pasta, with a lite and flavorful red sauce. It tasted fresh, and rich. She could only eat about a third of it. The rest came home. I ordered my Bison medium rare. The Chef hit it perfectly. Beautiful red meat in the center, nice and warm. So much flavor, and tender. With it I had the potato of the day. They were mashed with the skin. Full of butter, milk, and seasoned. In addition I had a side of creamed spinach. Very rich and deep. The cream tasted similar to a cheese sauce. So good. I brought nothing home. Finished the entire meal there. In addition, because it was our anniversary, the gave us a very nice card. And a piece of cake for dessert. Champaign was offered, but neither of us drink it, and didn't want to waste it. If you haven't tried Crooked Oak Tavern, you are missing a very nice experience.

I'm old school enough that as a woman I felt awkward being in an unfamiliar town in a bar full of strangers. Joanne reassured me & checked on me throughout the evening.
