Terrible customer service and unprofessional behavior. I placed an order with Ground Cover Supply on April 5, 2025, for 3 tons of #57 gravel to be delivered on April 9. I coordinated labor and prepped my driveway for the scheduled delivery. Delivery never happened. I received no call from the driver as promised. I followed up and was told the driver "should have been there." Finally, around 4 p.m., I received a call from the so-called driver -- later identified as the owner, who told me the gravel wouldn't be delivered that day and said, "Then I'll just give you a refund." When I questioned the service, he became hostile and rude, shouting, "Yes! This is how I treat customers!" Then he hung up the phone on me. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation -- just pure disrespect. I had workers waiting all day, and I ended up wasting money, time, and energy. I contacted another gravel company, and they already knew who I was talking about -- apparently, this behavior is nothing new. Please be cautious when doing business here. I would not recommend Ground Cover Supply to anyone. No customer deserves to be treated like this. read more

Glad to have found this place! Picking up mulch in bulk has been much easier than buying tons of bags. We have a pretty big yard, great price. Service is always good. They've given us some landscaping advice as well. We've purchased from here on 4 different occasions. Highly recommend. read more

Just know your spending lots of money and in the event you have a conflict or question the resolution business chooses to respond is personal attacks. UPDATE: As you can see from this owners response on every negative review, the only answer he has is that the customer could not afford his terrible services. If you are looking for a professional company/owner this place is not it. My husband Had ordered a pallet of sod 3 weeks in advance. Was told we could have it delivered. Called weekly for updates. Then this Wednesday we got a call that did had arrived and when we asked about delivery they said they do not deliver less than 2 pallets. When we had already confirmed delivery of one pallet. We arrived today to pick the pallet of sod up. Half of our pallet was sold. We received half a pallet of almost dead sod. The owner offered a 20$ discount... Then when I called to see if we could order a new pallet and address the situation, the owner was very rude and stated " yeah yall need to find your sod at a different place". Very unprofessional I do not recommend this place at all if you are looking for nice sod. read more

Ground Cover Supply installed a paver pathway and patio for us in March 2021. They were the lowest bidder for our project. The quality of the finished job was poor. The pavers were laid out around bends and curves without making any cuts. This leads to big gaps in between the pavers - gaps that are too big to hold polymeric sand in place. 6 Months later, -The sand in a lot of joints between the pavers has washed out (see the pictures). -There is a haze on the pavers that's been present since the job was complete so the pavers always look dirty and wet in some areas despite dry weather. -There is settling on multiple sections of the walkway and patio. I've pulled a few of the pavers up in these sections and found little to no sand beneath the paver - the pavers are sitting directly on the paver base material. I've received estimates from other contractors to fix these issues and the recommendation from both contractors is that there are so many issues with the pavers being laid unlevel and sunken in multiple areas, that the whole walkway and patio must be re-done from scratch starting with new paver base material. The pictures I've posted are only of a few select areas. These problems are persistent everywhere across the 1,000 sqft of pavers that were laid. We are disappointed because the cost to fix these pavers and lay them correctly will cost the same or more than what I originally paid Ground Cover Supply to do the job, so we are essentially paying for the project twice because of our decision to use Ground Cover Supply. read more

Also left in google reviews. VERY unprofessional. Told me to go back to where I came from and called me a Jack ASS when I complained about how it was delivered and told me to come there if I had a problem with him. My wife told me he was rude to her and I should have listened. Said I'm his first ever complaint. I waited over two weeks for delivery as his truck was broke and I was trying to be supportive to his predicament. He claimed he bent over backwards to help me, the person that is paying him. Claimed he told my wife that they slide it out the back of the truck. Not true. I bought the rocks because they were on pallets and would not cause a mess while I placed them. Now I have broken wiring and pallets across mine and the neighbors yard who is also not happy. read more

Seedy. Came here about half a dozen times for drainage rock and was only quoted the same price twice. No receipts offered. Asked that I pay in cash. Just didn't seem like an above board business - not professional. There are plenty of landscape suppliers in the area, with comparable if not better prices. I'll not be using these guys again, and I recommend people I know go elsewhere too. read more

Patio installed by this company started failing within months of completion. Sinking in multiple spots, holding water, pavers around the edges started falling off. Owner refused to honor 1 year warranty. Took him to small claims court and judge awarded us the maximum, $15,000. read more

On Friday 4/3 I stopped at this business and purchased 40 pieces of Bermuda Grass sod for my yard. I was charged $3 per piece - which I thought was a little high, but chalked it up to it being a small family run business. On Saturday my husband and I realized that our project was a little bigger than either of us thought, and we needed more grass. So my husband went back to Ground Cover Supply, and purchased 100 more pieces of sod. The manager/owner just gave him the remainder of the pallet they had outside, probably between 85-110 pieces. He was charged less than $1 per piece. While my wallet appreciated that much lower price, I couldn't help but be upset that I was charged three times as much for the same product. It continued to eat at me all afternoon. I ended up having to go back out to a different store for sprinkler parts, and on my way home I stopped in at Ground Cover Supply to see if there was an explanation for why I was charged so much more. I pulled up and went into the office, very calmly and respectfully. I've worked many years in retail and customer service, and know that more times than not there is a reasonable explanation, and so I made it a point to not go in angry. It was the same older gentleman (and I use that term lightly) in the office that I had felt with the day before. I reminded him who I was, and what I purchased, and simply asked why there was such a difference in his rates. He replied back, rather rudely, that he didn't want to have to count the prices in the pallet this morning when my husband came in, so he just got a really good deal. I said that doesn't explain why I was charged such a high price yesterday. He said he just likes to charge women more. What did I want him to do about it? If I was that unhappy about it I was welcome to bring the sod back and get my money back. I was speechless. I managed to pull myself together, and I repeated him. So, you regularly charge your female customers more? "Yep, I like to charge women more, I get a kick out of it. Make sure you tell all your friends." This man was an absolute a**hole to me. I didn't go in there looking for anything for free, or for a refund or anything. I asked a simple question, calmly and politely. Who talks to paying customers like that?? How would he feel if a business owner spoke to his wife like that? Or his daughter? I am the type of person that would prefer to shop a small, smoky run business over a big box store. But I can guarantee you I will not be supporting this business ever again. A business that openly admits that they "like to charge female customers more because he gets a kick out of it." And is rude and disrespectful to females on top of it. He said to me as I was walking out of the office - "Make sure you go and tell all your friends about it too!" Don't worry sir, I will. And I will tell them to tell all their friends, and to tell their friends, so on down the line until everyone knows what kind of business you run. read more
