I've seen this place multiple times, but have never been in to try anything, only to ask to use their bathroom (which always has been super clean!) Well, today was the day we tried a shake! The owner recommended the White Chocolate Butterfinger, and it was delicious! I thought it would not be as tasty, considering it's water-based, but that wasn't the case! And it was packed with flavor and vitamins, all healthy for me and baby. I was stoked to give it a try. Aside from shakes, Downtown Nutrition offers smoothies, teas, energy drinks, snacks, protein, and more. They just had a "make your own tea" event last week and seem fairly involved in the community. The owner is creating a space in the front of the shop that's super child friendly, so it will be the perfect place to bring your kiddo to meet up with other moms. They're veterans and also family owned and operated!

We're from Bowling Green and just looking for somewhere to hang out, and this spot was perfect. The family that runs it is amazing--so welcoming and kind. We happened to visit on Ash Wednesday, and they were hosting a community event with kids and painting. It was such a cool atmosphere, and my 10-year-old daughter got to join in while we relaxed. It's great to see a place that brings people together like that. On top of that, the drink we got was delicious! If you're in Hopkinsville, this is definitely a place worth stopping by. While there are other places similar to here in Paducah, I like supporting small businesses so obviously I came here! It's in the back of a health store which resembles a pharmacy and they have about 8 different flavors of smoothies and juices to choose from. All made in front of you with fresh ingredients. The Smoothies are deliciously crafted and offer different benefits and combinations. I liked that some were coconut water based, others almond milk and other juice based. Two sizes were offered and presented in recyclable cups. I felt the super large circumference of the straws was a bit tacky and sorta against the natural way of living since straws are unnecessary plastic but also kinda essential for a thick smoothie. I got the chicken pesto flatbread and it was delicious! I really loved the bread. Crispy and warm outside and soft inside. The chicken had a good flavor.
