The Farmer and The Dail came highly recommended for their delicious baked goods and southern breakfast. My family lives in the area and gave the 2 thumbs up. I placed an online order for a birthday cake to celebrate my mom's 70th. We visited today after noon and jumped in line to place our brunch order and pick up the cake. We decided on the FATD breakfast bowl that comes with hash browns, a biscuit, grits and bacon. I have been wanting to try their famous biscuit bombs. I decided on the bacon bomb. I have never had a biscuit so pillowy soft and delicious! This place is perfection ! My mom's birthday cake was also equally as delicious. She enjoyed how light and airy the cake was, how decadent the frosting was. How beautifully decorated ! We will be regulars here when in the area visiting loved ones. Thank you for making a memorable birthday by putting love in your recipes.

I was shocked at how flavorless the whole thing was. Why am I still giving this place 4 stars you ask? My girlfriend had the chicken minis which were delicious because the biscuits were seasoned and the chicken was perfectly cooked. There were so many baked goods on display that all looked amazing and their regular menu looks super promising. The environment is super welcoming and there is a huge sunflower field outside for photo opps. So 4 stars for potential. I will be back to try once again, just never on a Sunday.

When we finally made it here, we were not disappointed. We ordered sandwiches from the kitchen inside while we shopped for sourdough bread and other baked goods. The bread is good. They also make several other baked goods. We like the cinnamon loaf. Very good! The process for ordering sandwiches is pretty simple. There's pencils to fill how the sandwich ordering form. Once you choose what you want on the sandwich you hand it to one of the employees or they have a box you place it in. They call your name when it's ready. This place does get busy at times. While you're waiting you can grab some chips and a drink from the cooler. The store has a lot to look through. There's all kinds of spices, seasonings, and other bakery needs. The store is relatively cramped inside when it's busy, but manageable to move around. It's been there a while so it does have a slight rustic look and feel to it. There's a covered porch in the front with tables and chairs to enjoy your sandwich. We have enjoyed our many visits here and will continue to stop in. Recommend giving this place a try.

When in the line I asked if they had soup, which I should've known they didn't because it was on the board they have you look at in the line. But when I asked the simple question I was told- "We don't have soup...Why would you even think that we would in mid summer?" Then looked at me like I had just insulted her mother. I then digress and order. Then the lady gets done ringing us up and lets us go. There's no holding the line at all by the way, so it's every man for himself when it comes to seating. We were floating around the drink area for a bit before these people got out of there seats, we then go towards the table and my cousin sits in one of the chairs while I stand next to her to save our spots when this worker comes up behind us and asks- "Did you uh...want that cleaned off or...?" My cousin looks over at her and says- "Yea...please?" The worker stares us down as she cleans the table and walks off. Ya'll... I literally work at a restaurant that's even worse on Sundays than it was a Sunday at this Great Harvest. I see every single person that walks through the doors on my shifts and I know how to be nice to people and have nice fun customer service. This Great Harvest does not know what customer service is. I get mad at work a lot so I get it. The burn outs of talking to folks, the math when running register, etc, etc... but when I do get to that point I still fake it till I make it!It's also literally the easiest job you can have when the size of the restaurant is a cafe and the clientele is mostly really nice folks. Crack a joke when speaking to customers at LEAST or don't make people feel like they're doing something wrong by customizing people's orders they way they want. Seriously your jobs are to be nice, if you can't do that, go find some place else to work.
