Walking into this coffee shop early, I found this place to be very welcoming with plenty of seats with tables. Most tables had a marker on it with various times reserved. That's a great sign, right!! I ordered a caramel mocha hot coffee that was very good. They have pastries, which I ordered one. This shop is also pet friendly. I even met a four legged friend before I left! Trouble Brewing was amazing with their tumeric latte and house special - chicken salad. The barista was on point, friendly and quick! Plenty of people around working, gabbing and just enjoying their morning and I could tell taking all THOSE pictures had a few curious as to my intent. My intent? Good java a bit of the in house special - chicken salad on rye! Ambiance was warm and friendly. I snuck out the side door just because I was curious to see the "alley" exit. My GPS said I'd arrived but I had to look up a picture of the place because it's in an old Victorian house set back from the road with a couple other businesses. Being set back allows them to have a quiet outdoor seating area with plenty of shade which you pass by on your way inside. Inside is very cute with much more seating, big bright windows that let in the afternoon sun and decor that blends the coffee shop seamlessly into the beautiful old house. I ordered an iced almond milk latte, my warm weather go to. The counter person asked if I wanted any flavor/syrup and, while I usually don't because I don't like sweet coffee, I acquiesced because she said she could make sure it wasn't super sweet but I still got the flavor. This was quite literally the BEST iced almond milk latte I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. The salted caramel syrup lent just a hint of sweetness but full flavor. The espresso was flawless. I sipped my latte while walking back down Main Street to my car in 80° weather with flowers blooming and birds chirping and it was the perfect lunch break treat. I will be back.

For Starbucks I'd probably say no thanks, HOWEVER for a local shop like this with unique flavors, I am absolutely willing to pay that. I felt that for the latte I got, it was 100% worth it. It tasted like a legit slice of banana bread and was decently sized. It seems like they put a lot of time, effort, and money into creating the flavors, which I really respect. I worked at a coffee shop for some time and it is lots of work. I appreciate seeing cafes have individuality and genuinely try hard to create something people will love. The manager took my order. I know she is the manager because I saw the TikTok of her guessing drink flavors by getting them thrown at her, actually hilarious, sorry queen. (They are slaying the social media marketing). She was kind, helpful, and didn't make me feel rushed when ordering. And the girl who made my drink was very quick while making sure the quality was the best it could be. I love supporting locally owned businesses, and I love to support locally owned women owned businesses even more. It's the best tasting coffee I've had in the area (beats Ren's, Brown Dog, Trouble Brewing, Little Coco, Common Grounds). My partner got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. It came with specs of real vanilla in it. They also got a bacon, egg, and cheese that came on a biscuit--they said it was very delicious and fresh. Better than any coffee shop breakfast sandwich in the area. My partner's sister got a scone and cookie, and she remarked that it was some of the best baked goods she'd ever had. Today I had the pleasure of having two of the guys outside (sorry didn't catch their names) but when my drink wasn't right Victoria was quick to fix it and her friendliness speaks volumes. I say this as I was here the other day as well (yes I'm somewhat of a regular). That day I had the pleasure of having Lauren and Victoria as the workers (hard word to use as they make you feel like family). I know anytime I come to this stand it's going to be an amazing experience!
