Grounded Coffee was a great surprise and an easy place to love. This is the kind of coffee shop that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the moment. From the second I walked in, it was clear they care about the craft. You can get your standard coffee options, but the owner also offers creative flavor combinations that feel thoughtful, not trendy for the sake of it. We ordered a hot oat milk mocha, a honey sea salt latte, an oat milk hojicha latte, and a decaf Americano, and every drink was delivered hot, well balanced, and full of flavor. They also offered a wide selection of pastries to choose from. We passed this time, but they all looked delicous. The space is simple in a really good way, clean, calm, and with plenty of seating to hang out and enjoy your coffee. Pricing felt fair, service came with a genuine smile, and I really enjoyed chatting with the owner about coffee and learning that some of the tea is sourced directly from Japan. Parking is easy too, with spots behind the building if street parking is full. This is exactly the kind of local coffee shop you hope to find and one I would absolutely recommend stopping into.

This place is amazing! What a gem the pastries are delicious but the coffee is so much fun! They have so many creative flavors and options including vegan cold foam! It's such a cozy spot to relax and everyone who works here is the best!

Exceptional coffee and service! I stumbled on this coffee shop and it far exceeded all my expectations. The coffee is simply top tier, not a lot of sugary empty fillers, just good quality coffee made with a ton of love. I got an oat milk with honey, cinnamon, and Black Sea salt, and pumpkin spice latte- both were amazing! Pastries are also really fresh and tasty. Beautiful, cozy, good vibes coffee shop and with excellent service! Highly recommend.

Amazing vibe! Such kind people and fantastic drinks! The earl gray latte is to die for! The maple shader latte was so unique. The caramel cappuccino and iced tea with blueberry cold foam were great as well. The pastries are perfect. I'm so glad this family owned business is in our neighborhood!

The coffee here was so delicious! They have so many cool flavors and different flavored cold foams that make it so unique. The owner was really nice and even brought us samples of some of the new things he was testing out too.

Baristas are super knowledgeable and willing to accommodate different ad ons to the delicious drinks! Great vibes, and wonderful staff.

Best way to start my day is coffee here! I always enjoy going to a local spot where they put more care in their craft then big chains

My GPS said I'd arrived but I had to look up a picture of the place because it's in an old Victorian house set back from the road with a couple other businesses. Being set back allows them to have a quiet outdoor seating area with plenty of shade which you pass by on your way inside. Inside is very cute with much more seating, big bright windows that let in the afternoon sun and decor that blends the coffee shop seamlessly into the beautiful old house. I ordered an iced almond milk latte, my warm weather go to. The counter person asked if I wanted any flavor/syrup and, while I usually don't because I don't like sweet coffee, I acquiesced because she said she could make sure it wasn't super sweet but I still got the flavor. This was quite literally the BEST iced almond milk latte I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. The salted caramel syrup lent just a hint of sweetness but full flavor. The espresso was flawless. I sipped my latte while walking back down Main Street to my car in 80° weather with flowers blooming and birds chirping and it was the perfect lunch break treat. I will be back.

This place was a little hard to find at first because it's not easily visible from the street like the other shops. You have to walk down a pathway, past the outdoor seating area, and the entrance is at the left side of the building. The shop itself is cute with many pastries, caffeine options, and indoor/outdoor seating. I got an Iced Chai Latte and it did not disappoint. Great local spot and would be lovely to hang out with friends!

I visited Cubby Hole on June 7th with my daughter for brunch. We wanted to try somewhere new, and…read moreafter reading several positive reviews, we decided to give it a shot. When we arrived, the restaurant was busy, and we waited about 15-20 minutes after adding our names to the waitlist. Since it was a beautiful day, there was the option to dine indoors or outside. We chose to sit inside. My first impression was that the restaurant was lively and bustling, which made it feel like a popular neighborhood favorite. It also appeared to be both family-friendly and pet-friendly, which was a nice touch. For my meal, I ordered the Omelette & Potatoes with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and onions, along with a side of bacon. The omelet itself was good, but the bacon was a major disappointment. It was extremely overcooked--so crispy that it resembled bacon chips rather than strips of bacon. My daughter ordered the Egg White Wrap with turkey sausage, spinach, and feta, along with a side of fresh fruit. She enjoyed it well enough but felt it was just okay. Overall, we both agreed that the food was pretty basic. It wasn't bad and it was nothing to write home about. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was attentive and the service was pleasant, the food didn't quite live up to the reviews I had read. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a place I'd be in a hurry to revisit.
