I got a coffee flight (which you have to make a reservation for but there was same-day availability). It was customizable: the give you menus and an order form that was simple to understand, I just filled it out and they made my drinks as ordered! All are served iced for the flights. The flight also comes with a baked good, I chose the coffee cake. I sat for a while and got some work done. Staff was very friendly.

Cute, quiet, cheap, tasty drinks, good service! Everything I don't typically get at Philly coffee shops. Well worth the trip out here to get some work done and enjoy some sunshine. Highly recommend stopping in!!!

I came to Common Grounds for their coffee flights. This was such a fun experience and I would highly recommend. I was able to select 4 different iced coffee creations for my flight and a baked good was included. I would highly recommend making reservations online! The staff were wonderful and very attentive. Be care leaving though, you need to pull the door towards you. During our time we saw many coffee and baked goods hit the floor from customers struggling to open the door.

Good coffee, perfect for waking up. Cubano was excellent. Caramel Overload (got it with oatmilk) had flavor without being too sweet. Came on a saturday morning, the cafe was buzzing with people working, chattering, studying. There is seating outside as well. Good customer service. They also have pastries but alas no gluten-free ones (room for improvement!)

Common Ground Coffee in Oaklyn, NJ offers a bright, inviting space that's perfect for both casual coffee dates and focused work sessions. I tried the iced Cubano, which was smooth and well-balanced. The coffee crumble cake was moist and rich with a sweet-forward flavor. I'm looking forward to coming back soon to sample their coffee flight!

Came for the coffee flights which were delicious! Easily customizable and straight-forward ordering process. You need a reservation for the flights which can be done easily online. The flights also come with a pastry! Can get cold brew, iced coffee, lattes, and matcha for your flight. We were able to try their seasonal flavors as well. The chai and maple cold brew were my favorites. I opted for banana blueberry loaf which was soft, fresh, and delicious without being overly sweet. Decided to get a full-size pumpkin chai before I left which was also phenomenal.

Some of the most intriguing coffee your lips will engage on here. Mezcla (roasted from Evermore Coffee) is a bold, dark blend that also resonates with a smooth firm aftertaste. Most darks usually tastes like over roasted ash chard, but this one sticks! It's a very tight cozy building that does high volume so do your best to get in before the rush starts. Helpful service here as well always brewing a hot steamy cup.

Common grounds is a cute coffee shop located in Oaklyn. When you first walk in, you see their delicious pastries on display. They have everything from muffins, cake pops, macarons, quiches, cookies, and so much more. They do not have a huge menu to choose from but they do offer a wide range of coffee. They serve lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, americanos, and they even have drink specials each month. When I went to common grounds I got a cappuccino and gluten free chocolate chip cookies. The cappuccino was incredible and I paired it with oat milk. It was the perfect combination. The chocolate chip cookies were crunchy and delicious. Not only do they offer a wide range of food but they also have vegan and gluten free options. Common grounds also has cute merchandise to that you can purchase to support their coffee shop. Common grounds is a local coffee shop that offers delicious coffee that you can pair with delicious food. If you are looking for a small town coffee shop then common grounds is the place for you!

Matcha was fine, but it needed to be stronger. It was a light green color and could have used another scoop.

Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)

I ordered a cappuccino (was well made) and a bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit. I believe it had mozzarella cheese instead of American which I questioned to myself, though it worked. The milder cheese allowed the biscuit to steal the show, which it did. The biscuit was buttery and not dry. I enjoyed it! I also grabbed a pickle and cheddar scone while paying, as they looked really good. Ate it when I got home and honestly was shocked at how tasty it was and how the salty sweet balance worked out. Now look up. That's where I used to live for many years. So yes I was a regular at Groove Ground for awhile. When I wasn't in the actual shop, I was up in my apartment using their free wifi. Stopped back in today while walking around town doing some Christmas shopping, and the place hasn't changed. Still tiny with a few natty armchairs and couches, still the eclectic mix of music records and other merchandise (a lot of it by local artists), still staffed by friendly employees. One change is that they used to be open until 10 or 11. Like most coffee shops in this area, they now close early. They're open 8 - 6 every day. It's not exactly a destination store. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for anything on the food or drinks menu, and for records and small handmade gifts, there are several other and better options in town. But I like that it's independent and supportive of the community, and it's still a nice place to stop in while in Collingswood doing other things.
