The food is decent and the coffee is good, but I've now had a second "oat milk" latte with regular milk and after another afternoon dealing with the after effects of that, I'm done. Perhaps it is just a place for the lactose-tolerant. read more

Coffee was good and staff was friendly. I liked that there was plenty of seating inside and out. I do wish they had more of a bakery selection but the deli next door had some options too. You can grab a cub of coffee and then walk to The Shoppes at Medford Mill so it's a nice little pick-me-up. I'd love to see them put in some comfy seating for those that would like to read or just want to hang out for a bit but I guess their cold seating is a way of having you stay for one cup and then leave. read more

This is a great not-so-little coffee shop in town. Having moved from the little itty bitty location down the street, this place seems massive. Lots of food options to enjoy with delicious coffee. Great coffee & scones; their baked foods are excellent! He had a strawberry-rhubarb draft latte, which was delightfully strong and will wake you up; and I had a toasted marshmallow latte with a strawberry scone. Stopped in for a cup of Joe and got the Maple Pancake Latte. Yesss.. it's very good! I would definitely recommend it! Service was great and they even recommended me this Latte. You can sit inside or outside. Inside is very spacious and has a good amount of seating. They even have a bar area to sit at. Outside is a nice deck area to sit at. The absolute best coffee in the area. Forget your chain coffee shops, the coffee/espresso here is legit. The beans are roasted and ground perfectly, creating a wonderful beverage. I am a regular here and this place definitely has the best coffee drinks in the area. The baristas here are fairly consistent with their process hence guaranteeing a consistent taste. The service is pretty fast and there are plenty of tables. They also have a good selection of baked goods and breakfast sandwiches and items. They don't have wifi but who needs internet when you have great company of friends or books. The whole place has a very rustic feel with its exposed reclaimed wood beams and pillars. read more

The coffee shop itself is very nice - large, airy, handsome decor. No WiFi but that's doesn't bother me. During my first visit, the barista made my cappuccino perfectly - the right ratio of milk and foam. I was extremely happy because this is such a rare occurrence these days and I thought perhaps I had found my spot. Unfortunately there was not a repeat performance of perfection during my second visit. I ordered a cappuccino and the Medford breakfast sandwich. There was a different barista on duty during this visit and the cappuccino had far too much milk in it. So there's a lack of consistency and the perfection of the drink is dependent on the barista on duty when you visit - which is sooo disappointing. The ingredients in the breakfast sandwich were fresh but it was a bit pricey, bland, and the honey drizzle was nearly non-existent. And unfortunately the egg had several pieces of egg shell in it (YUCK). read more

I ordered an everything bagel and cream cheese to go. When I arrived home and took out the bagel this is what Harvest thought was acceptable to give a paying customer who ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. How insulting to take someone's money and give them this! (Also the kitchen isn't supposed to close until 3-3:30pm. They were closing the kitchen around 1:30pm. Inconsistent and disrespectful to customers- 'short staffed' is nothing but an excuse- hire more people. Increase the staff budget.) Harvest- do better. read more

Hi! I am writing because I am an avid coffee drinker and love visiting Harvest for the coffee and ambiance, especially after work, on a quiet Sunday, or before a holiday. However, this past summer the hours seemed to change and make it more difficult to visit for nice cup of coffee or latte. I'm unsure why the hours changed and I'm sure it's not something that you wanted to do. I'm also not sure if anyone has stated their concern, but I am unable to make it to the cafe except for Saturday. I thought a cafe / coffeehouse was supposed to be a place to chill and hangout. How many customers can visit before 2 during the week except for senior citizens, stay at home parents, or freelance/ contract workers or maybe college students. It's extremely difficult- I also feel that you exclude a group of people who would probably come during the week but are unable to with these hours. Maybe this is just me thinking this and has no bearing on anything- if that's the case then disregard this. Also, I was wondering if it's possible to have a few days of the week open early and close at 2 and a few days open later and close later. just a suggestion. Okay, here are the pros and cons. Pros 1. Very nice people. Always cheery and helpful. 2. The food is good and tastes fresh. 3. There are outlets everywhere. You know how you sometimes have to search for that table near and outlet at a coffeeshop? You do not have to do that at this coffeeshop! 4. They also limit pets to service animals...mostly (I'll get back to that). 5. Nice atmosphere and nice area of town. Cons 1. Remember that thing about service animals only? Well that seems to be mostly true. Recently, someone brought in a dog that didn't appear to be a service dog. I say appear because it could have been an undercover service dog. However, the owner didn't seem to need it as they got up often and moved around the shop without the dog, leaving it sitting near one of the tables. 2. One of the workers petted the dog after bringing aa drink order to the customer. It's a normal human response, I get it. However, if you're preparing food, that's probably not a good thing. I didn't order anything else that day. Okay, will I return to the shop? Even with all of the pros, I'm not sure I will. I just don't think it's hygienic. I realize that may be minority view and that many restaurants allow pets inside. However, I was hoping this one was limited to service animals due to the sign on the door. And, I also don't think people really think about petting animals and then preparing food. I should point out that one of the gentlemen who delivered food from the kitchen seemed to take extra precautions not to come in contact with the dog, carefully reaching over the dog and keeping his own body at a distance. Thank you for that! I wish I had left a special tip for that person. I think he realized that it wouldn't be good to come in contact with the dog and them go right back in the kitchen to prepare food. I actually gave a $20 tip to a cook at a Waffle House once who went through an almost hospital/ surgical routine of handwashing before returning to the grill. Always encourage good behavior and good service! All of that being said, I would recommend the shop to anyone who doesn't have my hangups. The people are super nice. And, like I said, the food is really good. It's definitely worth a visit. read more

$12.80 for a 16oz coffee and a turkey sausage egg and cheese on the worst sour dough bread. Straight out of a plastic sleeve. So dry and tasteless. If you want to charge premium it should be excellent quality and something special. I don't mind paying if it's worth it. Sad. read more

You can absolutely tell Harvest Coffee Roastery not only knows how to roast a bean, but takes care in choosing the best selection to carry for their customers. And don't forget to grab a breakfast sandwich! Straightforward, filling, reasonably priced, and l with a little something special in the seasoning. The shop is small but is full of warmth and friendliness. There are only about four small tables in the shop and can get filled up quickly but their are a few areas for sitting outside if the weather is nice. I ordered a black pour over and the almond croissant. Almond croissant was just okay, which is no fault of the cafe's as they get their pastries delivered. But i thorougly enjoyed my coffee. I believe the experience of any diner is partially attributable to the atmosphere and Harvest put extra thought into everything from even their mugs and plates. This place is a little secret. Right off of main street, so you can't see it from the street. It's such a quaint little coffee shop. You always feel very welcomed whenever you're inside. They have different coffee each day. Kenyan, Columbia, Brazilian, Puerto Rican etc. The best thing, and you have to ask for it, is their ice coffee ice cubes. Get iced coffee and ask for the coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes. This way, your drink will stay cold and won't be watered down. My favorite coffee out there. read more
