    So much foam!!!!
    Melinda N.

So I love this coffee place! I always order the same thing, white mocha with Irish cream NO FOAM because they make it perfect almost every time but for some reason they still give me the foam. The reason why I say no foam is because I order a 16 oz and when there's an INCH of foam, it's no longer a 16 oz coffee. I'm not going to pay full price for a cup that's half foam! PLEASE listen when I say NO FOAM!

Stopped by to try some drinks off their seasonal menu. The barista was super friendly and fun, as are all employees that I have interacted with at all the Grounds for Coffee locations I have been to. I tried the Aztec hot chocolate, it was delicious dark chocolate with a lot of spiciness! I also tried the Winter White Chai and LOVED it! Super yummy flavor! Highly recommend them while they are still be offered!

I didn't even know this little shack was still open! I was out of coffee on a Sunday morning, so I wanted to grab something fast. When I pulled up I was the fourth car in line and there was only one lady working. I thought about leaving, but decided to patiently wait. I don't think I was there for more than five minutes before driving off with my espresso. I'll be honest, after the initial taste I wasn't sure if I was a fan. It tasted a little off to me... I felt like maybe it was the off-taste of unfiltered Davis County water. I wasn't sure. But a couple hours later I came back to my half full drink and sipped down the rest and it tasted fine. Needless to say, I need to come back and give it a couple more tries. My iced espresso seemed a little steep at $3.50 (about 10% more than Starbucks would charge for the same size and I always thought Starbucks was pricey). But it's nice to have the little local shack nearby and open.

Our puppy is a service dog in training and is being exposed to different social situations in public. We do not take him into businesses yet, but this location has a patio with umbrellas. The patio is on the north side of the building and is shaded during most of the day. Perfect for us and our puppy. I had the ice tea and my wife had a fancy coffee. The tea was similar to Dutch Bros in that it was fairly sweet before the addition of sweetner. It was refreshing and tasted great. The. Offer, my wife said was excellent. The patio faces the main road and there is a lot of traffic and noise. I guess people in Utah do not like mufflers! This is a pretty nice place with friendly staff and great service. I definitely recommend this location if you are in town and want a refreshing ice tea or coffee.

Today was my last visit to scooters. First of all they will not put the coffee into my own tumbler. Ok. So I get another dose of micro plastics from their cup. But then today I ordered a plain hot latte and picked it up in the drive thru. I was about 5 miles down the road when I took my first sip of it. This was not what I ordered. This damn thing was sweet as hell. I ordered no flavors. It was undrinkable. The lattes here have been mediocre at best but this just finished my patronage. Can't wait to get back to Boise so I can get a great latte.

The second time was uncomfortable because Karen was loudly spouting some pretty hateful and discriminatory opinions of political and religious nature. We learn a lot from each other just by listening, and it's nice to get an expanded perspective when we're open to other people's experiences and another point of view. BEANS is NOT this kind of environment. Sadly. It's like the owner is trying to out-Woke her own self. I'm lbgtq and disabled. What's happening here is not the kind of advocacy we need. We don't create safe spaces by hating on everyone who is not just exactly like us. Most of us just want to not have constant conflict, confrontation and political or social strife. Standing up for others rights is one thing. Intentionally creating discord is quite another. This experience is not great for anyone with anxiety, or needs peace and calm, with a sensory processing disorder or preference to avoid conflict. Hate doesn't need a seat at the table. Kind of done with that. I'm not coming back. The coffee is good though. So are the baked treats. Had a lot of potential.

From the moment I stepped inside, the shop felt inviting, with a warm and cozy atmosphere--perfect for relaxing, catching up on work, simply enjoying a quiet moment, or grabbing a cup to go and wandering through what seemed like an endless Saturday street market, which made the experience feel extra special. On my first visit, I really appreciated how peaceful it felt--the perfect balance of background chatter and calm. The staff were especially friendly earlier in the day, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. My second visit was during a busier part of the day, so it felt a bit more lively with foot traffic, but that energy added its own kind of charm. Every cup I had was thoughtfully prepared, with rich, satisfying flavor. Overall, Grounds for Coffee was a highlight of my trip. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger. If I ever find myself back in Ogden, I hope I get the chance to return for another cup.
