We stopped around 9 am on a Sunday morning. I came in for a coffee but decided to have a crepe, as well. The service was slow and didn't seem to follow the order queue but the staff was friendly. I liked the windows, they brought in a lot of natural light. Overall, I enjoyed my choice of a caramel latte and Rise crepe. I'd stop by for a pit stop on a road trip again. read more

Great location, right around the corner from the historic Avery Hotel. Friendly, cheerful service. Creative drinks available, including a turmeric latte with a surprising, spicy kick. Nice selection of pastries. I ordered a warm butter croissant and it was excellent. Plenty of tables and chairs, and even a couple couches for those of us that like to spread out a little. read more

Literally a must stop every time I'm in town. My dang sisters goaded me into trying their hearty hippie crepe and now I am addicted. It's a nice place to meet up over coffee and nibbles. My mom had a breakfast burrito and it was massive and very good. There's a ton of coffee flavors, teas, frappes to please most folks. I don't recommend their plain lattes but if you go half-sweet on the flavors they'll satisfy the taste buds. I also love that they are connected to a shop, which often has some interesting local-themed items and Ogden-Made gear. read more

My friend and I were suprised to find them open on Labor Day, but we were so excited they were. The staff was super friendly and patient with my early morning brain and helped me find something I would enjoy. I love it when the staff is having fun with each other, too. Their menu is amazing! Lots of different coffee options. The seasonal crepe flavors are super interesting. The savory and the sweet were both perfect. They were very careful with my gluten intolerance and asked me about an ingredient they were unsure about. I'm so grateful that the staff put extra care into making sure I wasn't poisoned. read more

Hit this place early on a Sunday. They were great. Fiance got the pour over which was good by all accounts. I had the brewed and it was good. Didn't get a chance to try the crepes. From a C-19 perspective, they were good. Masks required and the staff were all covered. Touch-less payment is good. Keeping regular hours. From a sustainability POV, not the best. Plastic lids. Discovered this gem in downtown Ogden. Off of 23rd and Washington, next door to the Wildcat Store, I have a new favorite place for crepes and coffee. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. They have large front windows with a lovely street view or you can hang out in the Wildcat Store while you enjoy your morning brew. I recommend the light roast coffee as well as the Butter and Honey Crepe. The "Caprese" and "Overachiever" crepes are also amazing savory crapes! They also have pour-over coffee too! Lovely and delicious. As an Ogden native I have loved watching this city mature into a very desirable place to live and establish mountain culture eateries and shops. Daily Rise fits that feel precisely and I love it. The food was amazing. The whipped cream had me licking the lid for more and the crepes were perfect. I didn't need a second crepe but there was a review which complained about the lemon crepe...which ironically is what made me crave it. I love too much lemon so this was a draw for me. Best dirty chai we've ever had!! I had to walk up, because we were pulling a trailer, and the young man behind the counter hollered out at me to come on over to the free window (I was in line behind a bunch of cars). Super friendly service, great prices, and like I said, the best dirty chai. Their small and medium come with 2 shots of espresso, and I went with his recommendation to have cinnamon powder in mine. What a great idea!! We'll be back when driving through town again. read more

This place is a MUST, i would give it more than 5 stars if I could. My boyfriend and I go here every weekend for crepes and coffee - the TBA and Artichoke Pesto crepes are our faves. The staff are also super friendly. The place is pretty small so it can be tough to find seating, we typically sit in the entry way or in the University Store next door. read more

Daily rise went out of their way to help me while I spent a couple hours in Ogden. I called a few businesses that day and because of COVID they didn't have a place to sit down (rightfully so). The three girls working that morning were fantastic, they put a small table outside and sanitized it for me. I ordered food and a blended coffee, both incredible! While I was there I met the owners who were very kind to everyone that came in as well as their employees. I can imagine this place being slam packed outside of the pandemic world we live in right now. Great people all around! I do like the coffee here but from one day to the next the drink I get all the time, a large iced Java bean, nothing added on and no special milk goes from $7 something to $9 something.. that's crazy for a coffee. Ordered white mocha and lemon crepe. White mocha is really good - not too sweet. Not as strong as I would like but probably because I ordered the 16oz. Lemon crepe was ok. I was expecting house whipped cream but it is not. A bit disappointed here because for it being an artisan coffee shop, I expected house whipped cream. Crepe is doused with lemon juice and a bit of powdered sugar - I must say they should've gone easy on the lemon. Had I known, I would've mentioned that because the crepe now tastes soggy with no texture. I'm used to eating crepes that have some texture on the edges. Lemon juice serves to be too much for my liking. I remember ordering this in Paris and they would just squeeze a bit of lemon over the crepe and this crepe is not what I was expecting. The crepe also did not taste like it was freshly made either. Overall, good drinks but crepe execution was poor. Could I be a crepe snob? Anyways, expect street parking because we are in downtown. To be fair, the crepes are good. As for the meat burrito, which they forgot to include at first, my husband said "I sort of wish you hadn't reminded them". Whatever you do, don't order online. It will give you a pickup time that is wildly optimistic for this team. They don't hide that in-person orders come first and take 30 minutes to complete. If you're prepared to order online, budget an extra in-person 30 minutes on top of the 20 minutes their order system promises. You'll need that 30 minutes to remind them that your order exists and that they should prepare it ahead of the counter order that just came in. As for adding a tip up front to an online order for a place I've never tried, I sort of wish I hadn't. read more
