Potential clients need to be aware of working with this company We had a horrible experience with Exquisite. 1. Poor communication - they didnt respect our time. told us multiple times they would be at our house in one hour and then would call 3 hours later saying they couldn't make the appointment. then we would have to follow-up to reschedule. 2. Subs - several of their subs were unprofessional and disparaged the owners while on the job site. 3. Quality - miscut stone and then tried to convince us that it was ok and told us about other imperfections in our house....or to "Cover up the mistake with a plant" lol. When we asked for the stone to be replaced at their cost, they said it was too late and that they would provide a discount instead. They do not value quality or service. 4. While we were negotiating a final price (based on contractor error) they filed a lien on our property.... before the work was even complete. Horrible ethics. After payment in full, still didnt complete the work. and we do not want them to come back in our home after this experience. Six hour into the removal I asked; What are you guys doing and how long is this going to take? (note it would take them 4 days at this rate) I called the company about it and received no answer, called the Forman got no answer and I could not communicate with the workers because of a language issue. With that said I gave them my power tool to do the job they removed the tile in 6 hours yet left the cement board attached. Asked the company about the cement board and if they can tile over. They said NO. Then I asked for quotes on the tile. Flash forward 12 Days, got the quote and it was extremely high so I decided to not do it. AT that point I asked them since the demo included cement board and I rented the guys my tools so What is the new price? Considering that the company breached the contract I offered them a fair price to compensate the work completed, he replied with NO you pay me $2350 or I will sue you. Going as far to tell me it cost them 1000$ of garbage. During the whole process the quote was shady (done over text) , work was shady and incomplete and most important communication was AWFUL!!!!! I would completely avoid them unless you prepare yourself to get taken advantage, have awful communication and have mid to lower level work done.

When we finally were able to connect with him, he had no updates regarding a timeline, said that he was too busy to respond to texts, adamantly stated that he would not be refunding any money and aggressely stated that we hadn't right to tell him how to run his business. I'm left with the job undone, out money and his "business manager" stating that they are willing to discuss a reasonable resolution in this platform. How are we going to discuss when you hung up and don't respond to messages or calls? The lack of communication and aggressive response is appalling. A quick text to say I don't have the material yet, or I'm looking at next week would've been sufficient. I agree with others here who mention horrible customer service and aggressive behavior. The responses that they are open to discussion clearly not true as we have yet to receive contact after hanging up on me. You have our contact information. You refused to discuss and hung up. He became more irritated so I offered $800 and he started saying I didn't trust him, etc. I caved and gave him $900. The next day when he arrived to apply the finish, he claimed that the order only came with 1 gallon of finish+hardener. So he dropped it off and left. I asked when he could get the other gallon. He said he didn't know. The next day, I texted asking if he was able to get another gallon sent. He didn't respond. The next day I left a voicemail asking the same question with no response. The next day I gave him the benefit of the doubt with no response. On the fourth day, my wife called from a different number and left a message about a job. He returned that call and when she asked about the job that he didn't finish, he became very upset. He claimed that he is very busy and that he dropped off 1 gallon. We said 1 gallon cost $250 and 1 day of labor cost $720/2 = $360. He then really started arguing about how we can't determine his labor costs. He said he hadn't recouped his costs. It's pretty simple math. 1 day of labor at $360 and 1 gallon of finish worth $250 for a total of $610 not $900. We asked for a refund of $290. He refused and said we had no right to tell him how to run his business. We asked why he didn't respond to my text or voicemail. He hung up. So if you decide that you want him to do the job, don't pay for anything that hasn't been completed or delivered. He is not trustworthy.
