Without a doubt, the worst company I have ever dealt with I am handicapped and they came out to do my two bathrooms. They did the grout up to the top of the tile, but not the top of the tile. I've contacted the owner every month for six months and have had been forced to left a message. I have emailed six times as well. No one has ever called me. Townhome Sale - Master Shower Andrew came to restore the tile and regrout the master shower in our townhome. When he finished, the shower looked brand new--the tiles sparkled, and all the dirt and black residue in the grout was completely gone. We couldn't believe how good it looked--wish we had done it sooner! Andrew gets an A++ from us. 2. Basement Floor Restoration The previous owners of our new home had applied a waxy coat on the ceramic tiles throughout the basement. It started turning white and flaky, almost like peeling skin, and looked terrible. I tried cleaning a small section myself, but it took over an hour and was clearly going to be a never-ending task. That's when we called in the pros. John came by for the estimate, and Eddy and Jose handled the job wonderfully. They used chemicals, rotary tools, and good old-fashioned elbow grease to strip off all the residue. The results were incredible--we're so happy with their work! My muscles thank them a ton! 3. Sir Grout did not complete our project to our satisfaction. While the crew did a nice job with the cleaning, sealing, and caulking of our granite counters, as well as the grout on our kitchen, bathroom, and shower floors, the work on the bathroom vanity was incomplete. They removed some blemishes, but not all of them, and I do not believe a seal or finish was ever applied to the surface. Our dissatisfaction was compounded when we discovered that the crew had tripped a circuit breaker in the bathroom and failed to inform us. This suggests they stopped working when their outlet lost power, leaving the job unfinished. I contacted the project manager twice regarding this matter; the first time, he requested pictures, and the second time, he ignored my message completely. read more

Highly recommended. All of the grout in my shower started crumbling after only a couple years (I don't think the contractor ever sealed it). Sir Grout cleaned out all the old grout, cleaned the tiles, and re-grounted. Looks like a brand new shower, and they matched the grout color perfectly with the other walls that were fine. The service I've received from SGC has been pretty mixed. Getting a quote to rip out old caulk and replace with grout was very simple, and scheduling a tech was very easy and quick. However, within a couple months the new grout had cracked and needed to be repaired. One area of my shower was also missed. We're all human. Mistakes happen, I get it. I submitted my pics for warranty service and never received a reply from anyone... Until the tech just showed up at my door. He was extremely pleasant and did a fantastic job, but I didn't speak to anyone from the office or schedule his visit with anyone. I wish I had a "before" picture. We bought a new condo. Very nice place but had recently converted from rentals and the bathrooms - while nicely finished - where showing their age. The marble floors, in particular, were stained and dingy looking. Stains in the marble. Dull surface. Grimey looking grout. Sir Grout just did the first one and honestly, it couldn't look any better if we'd ripped apart the bathroom and installed brand new flooring. We literally have what looks like a brand new shining, sparking marble floor in that bathroom. Needless to say, they're coming back to do the other one. Can't recommend highly enough. I would recommend if you are having tile and grout cleaned. I was very happy with how that part of the job was completed. However I would not recommend if you need tile replaced. We had six tiles left of our discontinued pattern that we wanted used on six of the worst chipped tiles. Unfortunately the technician that was doing the work ended up chipping tiles adjacent to the first one he was supposed to replace and used all our spare tiles on the ones he chipped. He did put a temporary patch on the chipped tiles we wanted replaced, but that is already coming off with the first washing. Although we refused to pay for the tile replacement, we are left now with the expense and labor to repair those tiles. The company never offered any apology or course of action. Looking for a different company to polish our granite countertops. read more

Sir Grout did caulking, grouting and sealing in our master bathroom and second full bathroom. The two technicians did a superb and thorough job. When they finished the job, our bathrooms looked brand new. They went above and beyond the work order by applying sealant to an area around our sink faucets that was stained over many years of usage and now that area looks completely new. Man, where do I even start. I guess some background may help. We recently moved into our first home. It's a nice home, but at 20 years old it definitely has needed it's fair share of TLC. We opted to redo half our master bathroom, hoping to refurbish/ refinish the existing marble tile on the shower and bathtub. Once the renovation was done, I could really tell what poor shape the remainder of the bathroom was in and was pretty bummed out. Grout was cracking, there was quite a bit of mold under some of the caulking, and overall just did not look great against the brand new half. I had Sir Grout in mind from the gentleman who did our home inspection. I mentioned the plans for the half-remodel/ half-refurbish and re-grout, and he mentioned he had just used them and was thrilled with the work. I'm SO glad he recommended them. I initially did a virtual consultation with Ann. She was extremely accommodating to my chaotic schedule and even took my call after hours after I accidentally blew past our original appointment time since we were moving earlier that day. I sincerely appreciated it. Today Mario came out to do the work. I will say I was worried--first time home owner, panicked about everything, dealing with all sorts of (good and bad) serviced in and out of the home--you just really don't know what to expect. I had feverishly reviewed all the Yelp reviews ahead of today and of course the few negative outliers were enough to make me second guess the decision. I'm really glad though that I went through with it in the end--Mario was amazing! Apart from just being genuinely nice (he brought in a heavy package I didn't notice FedEx had dropped off when I was working--many would have just walked past it), he also really showed he cared about my home. He put shoe covers on every time he walked inside (something that I've found many services will not do), he was careful not to ding any walls (I had mentioned they were fairly freshly painted), and he cleaned up everything to a T (and I'm quite a picky customer). The shower and tub went so well that I asked if he could take a look at some other areas of the house and let me know if it's something they could manage. I was in luck that he was able to stick around a little longer and get these extra areas too, including the foyer and guest bathroom. Saves me having to schedule another appointment and all seriously look ah-mazing. I'll admit they're not the cheapest, but my 20 year old shower and tub look basically brand new, my foyer sparkles, and the guest bathroom got a much needed mini-facelift. All around worth every penny I paid, and it was all done in a single day. I'll try to remember to post an update in a few months on how things are holding up. Before leaving Mario explained maintenance instructions and answered another million questions from me. I'm seriously so impressed that I only wish every company I hire resulted in as pleasant of an experience and had workers as great as Mario!
