The coffee was incredible, the food was perfection, and the staff were unbelievably kind and welcoming. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. It honestly felt like it had been grown in someone's backyard garden. I had the tuna salad with seven-minute eggs (amazing), and my son got the breakfast sandwich... which my husband claimed he didn't want until he took one bite and immediately wanted to come back before we flew home. On our second visit, they had sold out of the brioche bun for the sandwich and we were so disappointed but one of the staff members (owner, manager, or actual angel) overheard me talking to my husband and offered to make it on different bread. They went completely above and beyond, and the sandwich was still unbelievable. Amazing food, amazing coffee, and customer service that truly made us feel cared for. We'll be talking about Emissary long after this trip.

As I was leaving, the cashier ran out of the store and down the street after me accusing me of not paying for the kimchi. I showed him the charge on my bank account, but he still insisted that I return to the store to prove that I had paid. This happened in front of other customers and was extremely embarrassing. Once we went back inside, another employee told him that I had actually come into the store with the kimchi and had already purchased it earlier. I understand that stores need to prevent theft, but chasing a customer down the street and publicly accusing them without confirming the facts first is not appropriate and was very humiliating. I hope management addresses how situations like this are handled in the future.

It hit the spot perfectly on a hot Miami day. It's the perfect blend of strong coffee and not too sweet. Also tried the Tiramisu Latte as well. It was quite good too but not as special as the Gelato Latte. Highly, highly recommend it. I will 100% look out for their other locations across the world. The owner was super nice and let us shop around. We were super excited they did in fact have the Persian ice cream which you have to get in Los Angeles at Safron and Rose. We then were given samples to try. The cookies were good. The guy then had fresh hummus and baba ganoush. We ended up buying 2 gallon ice creams and 2 pints. It costs us over 225 dollars in ice cream lol and a few other things. We would come back.
