Really glad to have tried this place after seeing so much hype on socials. We tried the iced miruku matcha latte with honey syrup, and an iced maple brown latte with the whipped honey on top. Both drinks were really good, but the coffee was far superior. Perfectly sweet, flavorful, and strong, it was smooth and not bitter at all, it was delicious. The matcha was really good, very clearly ceremonial grade and on the more umami side with some astringency. I LOVED and highly appreciated that they weigh out the matcha grams for each drink, and that it is strong. However, I do wish the syrup had come through money, as someone who loves the actual taste of matcha and prefers no flavors and little sugar, it was somehow really really bitter and tasted like no syrup was added (though some was!), but other than that I have no complaints on the drinks. Hyped for a good reason! I will say, the line was insanely long and it took a long time for us to have our order taken and to then receive our order. I think the organization system could be improved and having more than 1 register would make things work a little smoother. Though this is just feedback and not a negative complaint. The busier it gets, the less consistent the drinks get and there is zero urgency from the staff regardless to the customers. Ive been wanting to pass by honey veil for almost a year now and im happy i finally got to visit. For a Saturday let me tell you they are PACKED and BUSY. But ordering wasn't too bad it was a 7 minute wait. The sweetest gal Isabella took our order, she helped we with my questions in regard to the coffee. We ordered two honey veil lattes with honey cold foam. As well as a cinnamon roll. The place is very aesthetic and i love all the live plants. Really makes the place come together. There is plenty of indoor seating As well as outdoor seating. The coffee took a bit to be ready but it's understandable it's a Saturday and they are a very popular spot. Holy smokes, the hype is real! I have been speculating wether to come here or not based on the long lines and controversial opinions but can truly say any hate this place has gotten comes fully from natural controversy caused by such an exhilarating success, because the matcha speaks for itself, and it is ADDICTIVE! The texture is yummy, the color is perfect, the sweetness is leveled, and the flavor is truly addictive. I have been on a Lavendar matcha kick and wanted to try their spin when I saw it was on their summer menu. And in my opinion, I could barely taste the syrup at all. It mainly tasted like earthy matcha. Not necessarily a bad thing if you really like matcha in it of itself, but I was really disappointed that I couldn't taste any of the flavoring. Additionally, I saw their pastries and thought that they were a little lackluster. Some of them looked like they had been sitting out for awhile. Some did look pretty fresh, but it really depends on what you order. Additionally I think the price is a little expensive for me to want to pay for a product I am not completely happy with. While I know a lot of the reviews for here have been extremely positive, I have a hard time finding the appeal. Realistically I don't think I will be coming back here unless the syrup to matcha ratio is adjusted a little bit. I was quite disappointed with my visit to be honest. I was excited to check out after seeing their advertisement collab with my favorite brand Kulani Kinis plus I've been on a matcha kick. I got the KK special but it didn't come with the scrunchie or sleeve like advertised. Plus it took 15 minutes to get my drink and it was chaotic. Lines are always long on the weekend. I love doing a pick up order makes it easier for a grab and go. A decent amount of seating indoors and outdoors. Again always full on the weekends so might be hard to find parking and seating. Employees are working hard on drinks so the service is mid for pick up usually have to ask them first about an order. She recommended a chocolate chip cookie or the blueberry scone. Not sure how either would be savory but, I decided to try the blueberry scone. I would say it did take a while for me to receive my items because like I said it was busy. I paid for 30 minutes of parking and had two minutes left before it expired when I received everything. The blueberry scone I did find to be very good. The only sweetness it had was the drizzle on top. That's definitely something I would order again the banana bread Matcha latte I got with their pistachio milk. I thought it was OK. It did taste like banana bread. They put their infamous Honey whip on top, which is a little thick. It doesn't really break down in your drink so most of it was left at the bottom of my cup when I finished. We drove by this place the other day after eating a Cuban restaurant nearby. My wife eats gluten free and was really excited to see that they have some gluten free pastries. So, the next Sunday morning, I stopped by at 7:30am (opening time), which I assumed would be not very busy. Crazily enough there was already someone ahead of me and a few minutes after I ordered there was a significant line, which did not move very quickly. My 10yo couldn't even finish the banana bread latte. I finished my latte but it was extremely sugary, which was pretty surprising for a place which seems to give a healthy vibe (decor, branding, etc.). And I didn't even opt for syrup! They are known for their matcha but actually, my favorite item was their Maple Brown latte. It was the best cup of ice coffee I had in a while! Their cinnamon bun should not be overlooked. Gives Knaus Berry farm a run for their money. The wait times are insane though. I waited 2 hours for two drinks and a cinnamon bun. This place is known for its great Matcha, but I actually don't drink Matcha, so I decided to go with the classic banana bread coffee and added the honey whipped topping, which is what they're also known for. Surprisingly, the coffee itself was not sweet and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The whipped honey tastes exactly like honey, which I thought it would taste like whipped cream for some reason just because it looks like whipped cream. The wait for this place was longggg on a weekend - as expected as it has gone viral. I'm not much of a matcha drinker so opted for the banana bread coffee with the whip. I regret adding the whip. It's has a marshmallow consistency without flavor. The coffee itself was good, but maybe needed a bit more coffee to it. The breakfast sandwich was good. Online it shows two eggs in the image, but it really just comes with one. For $15 I wouldn't say it's the best thing ever. The vibe was very cute and clean.
