Hired Grover Electric a few years ago to update the panel on our home, install a couple recessed lights, and reroute some cabling under the home. Our electrician (Ryan) underestimated the time it would take to do the job, would show up to start one of the projects...explain to us how difficult the job was and that he either needed another tool or another assistant to finish the job...then leave for the day. Most contractors when they're done for the day clean up after themselves and leave the house in a neat condition. Not Ryan, he'd leave in-progress with sawdust on the floor and tools all about. Altogether, Ryan took about 2 weeks to finish what seemed to be some pretty straight forward work. Ryan also reversed the polarity of our oven range and an appliance repairman had to tell us to request Grover to comeback to fix the wires for our range to work again. UPDATE: Selling our home, one of the issues called out on our home report was the ELECTRIC PANEL. Several of the panels were double-tapped and Ryan never bothered to label the switches on the panel. Left 3 voicemails with Grover, no returned phone calls. Disappointing customer service when we needed them the most. read more

Ric is simply fantastic! He returned my call within a few hours and was able to come out the same day! Three other companies haven't even bothered calling back yet. In my book this distinction makes all the difference in the world. Someone who wants the work is usually the best person for the work and there was no exception here. Ric knows his stuff, you know that when you first talk on the phone and immediately when he arrives. He diagnosed the problem almost instantly, started in, and completed the work within the initial hour. He even did a little masonry work. Fantastic! In addition, he's informative, personable, and was courteous of the property. I really don't know what else you could ask for. It's difficult and very time consuming getting a team together (plumber, gardener, painter, etc...) to keep a house together and running like it should. Ric, who answered the phone, was up front as to his availability for putting in an external outlet for me. We set up a day and time, and he and his assistant were there as promised. He scooped out what was needed and gave me a more than fair price for the work to be done. They punched it out quickly and professionally, and did excellent work overall.
