Put in a request on yelp and had an immediate response and a price point offered. I had to leave town for a few weeks and figured I would try to take care of it when I got back in town so I never responded. The job was figuring out about 12 three-way switches throughout my house. I had tried to tackle it, knowing a fair amount about electrical, I also tried to tackle it with a general contractor on the phone as I attempted to correct the situation again about three weeks later. After failing both times to figure it out I was pretty sure no one was gonna be able to figure it out. ( my ego talking) I had spoke to a couple other electricians who were referred to me and their prices seemed to be a little steep to me. I again went back to Yelp to review who had originally reached out after my post. One company never got back to me and once again, Avocado Electric gave me an immediate response and price point and also availability the following day. Which was a Sunday mind you He was patient listening to me, ramble on the phone and try to give as much detail as I could and try to sound like I was very knowledgeable. He showed up on time. Awesome! I attempted some DIY 3 way smart light switch installations and messed up, it was about 6PM and i basically couldn't get my living room light to turn on. Nice guy came out to do our windows-forgot his name. He took off his shoes when inside which is appreciated. It does take a lot of time, almost 4 hours for 9 windows interior/exterior plus screens so be prepared. I do see a difference for sure by a lot but he did say it will take maybe 1-2 more times before it's perfect and encouraged me to keep it up.
