Due to my own negligence and bad tax advice, I had a ton of tax issues and letters from the IRS letters accumulating in the bottom of a cardboard box. A close friend suggested I visit Creative Tax. And so I did with my cardboard box in tow. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff (Shannon specifically). I was asked to complete a simple questionnaire and waited no more than 5 minutes before Yvette escorted me to her office. This place is awful I would not recommend as a customer or an employee they are extremely…read moreunprofessional the owner treats employees poorly they take advantage of people I was interviewed and offered a position with a very low pay in which i said i was not interested due to salary the Supervisor stated she would speak to the owner and if she agreed on salary I proposed they would contact me I received a phone call a few hours later were she advised me that they could offer me the position with the rate I requested the first day I started had lots of tension the Owner Wanda was screaming at employees treating them poorly due to not being ready for an audit from the IRS (they are extremely unorganized) that was my first red flag I also noticed they have clock in out system (ADP) but I was not given any access to the system when I asked why I was not using this system the Supervisor stated I didn't need to use it she would keep track of my hours I would have to text her my work hours and breaks Everyday when I received my first check which was direct deposited I noticed the wages were low they did not provide me with a pay check stub but I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt maybe it was due to tax withholding or pay periods about a week went by and it was heavy on my mind so I decided to ask for records or a paycheck stub I asked the supervisor Sunny how many hours I received pay for she stated I was payed for all my days except the first day I started working they consider that day as a training day with no pay I was shocked they never explained that to me not to mention I was not training that first day they had me doing actual work (I worked 8 hours for free) when I asked about my pay rate I found out they NEVER payed me what we agreed on but what I had rejected when we first had interview so not only didn't they pay me for one day but had me in a lower pay rate I was shocked the supervisor Sunny tried to justify the situation by saying I misunderstood that was not the case the bottom line is they knew all along they were not paying me what we agreed that's the reason why I never used the clock in system and no paycheck stub was given until I found all this out and requested it Sunny went in to the office and provided the stub to me i have never met unprofessional people like this and to put a cherry on top I worked for a total of 28 days never received a Tax Form W2 when I contacted them as to when I would receive the form I was told I didn't work long inoff to get one they never reported my wages to the IRS but deducted taxes from me
