Amazing teachers! I chose the 6 classes, 8hrs and Saturday's only. It was the best and most fun…read moreprogram I've been in. We had Amber the first two weeks and she's super experienced and excellent at teaching and explaining content as well as helping you memorize a lot of things for the exam. The next 3 classes we had Chrissy because Amber was on vacation. She's very well experienced as well and she let us practiced venipuncture and butterfly needles as much as we wanted, til were confident with our skills. So this helped me A LOT. Overall I would recommend this program to anybody. I had about 15 people in my classes from different ages, color and background. We all got a long and learned a lot together. This course will definitely help you prepare to become a great phlebotomist and they even give you tips on applying for a job. Wonderful place! I will miss it! (I just graduated yesterday‍)

She would also shut the lights off and play movies on the flat screen TV and awful music videos, put her ex on speaker phone who had developed muscular dystrophy so everyone could hear his obvious disability. She would give advice lying about procedures that were not happening, lying to the director about my behavoir, and on two occasions failed to perform successful draws on students. The textbooks and study guides were riddled with typos and wrong information that she neglected to explain.

I could not wait to submit a review about my experience at Mogul Busters and have been telling…read moreevery parent I run into about this great ski program for children! Seriously, this place is AMAZING if you are looking to get your kids into skiing. I signed my 5 year old daughter, who had very little ski experience, up for Mogul Buster's 4 week ski session in February and could not be more pleased with the experience. She went from a non-skier to a confident little skier in only 4 weeks! This program is run out of Ski Bowl East, only 75 minutes from Portland, and is a well oiled machine and perfect for anyone who is looking to improve their kid's skiing abilities. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm and caring instructors with clear direction on the steps needed to get my child engaged. The program has a yurt that serves as command central with a place to warm up, get hot cocoa, eat lunch and take a break when needed. The best part of Mogul Busters is how they move children in between groups, depending on their skill level, and are constantly assessing their skills throughout the day. My daughter started on the rope tow and as she mastered that, they moved her onto the chair lift on the second week. We had experience with about 6 teachers throughout our 4 weeks there and loved them all. They were so kind, patient and of course, great at teaching the kids the fundamentals of skiing and safety. Carla, who seems to be the point person running the sessions was always available to help and is fantastic! I look forward to involving my kids with Mogul Busters for many years to come and will continue to tell everyone I know about this gem on Mt. Hood. Thank you Mogul Busters pouring into our children! Much appreciated.

He loves everything and is always beaming with joy and can't wait to come back. But the real reason I'm writing this review is because I knew they were awesome with kids... but I also took lessons as I'm a first time skier. They are exceptional with adults as well! I went from putting on my first ski to now skiiing with confidence at the blue and some black diamond level! I have had 2 instructors when I took classes... first putting on skis with Tom and then once I was skiiing i had the opportunity to learn from the G.O.A.T. Russ! As an adult to learn a new skill and enjoy it is such an amazing experience. This school has excellent instructors whom know how to level with you, explain how to do something... all with a caring spirit. I keep wanting to do more lessons myself as each lesson I see serious gains! This school is the absolute BEST!

It wasn't cheap (it is a pretty complicated fix) but since this place had done some okay repairs in the past, I trusted them and spent the money. I thought the ring looked good when I got it back, but after only a year and a half, I lost two of the little diamonds out of the ring. I don't live a life that would be hard on the ring, so I called and told them about losing the diamonds (an expensive repair like that should last more than a year and a half!) and instead of being polite about it, or even offering to repair the ring and replace the stones at a discount, the guy got mad at me and basically told me that I was a liar (he said that it must have been more than a year and half) and was really nasty to me. I finally saved enough money to take the ring into a different jeweler (who is very high rated and has been in business for decades) who is charging me half the price to repair (and guaranteeing the repair for 10 years) , and he also said that the repair that Portland Jewelry Academy had done had not been finished properly. I will never use this business again.
