We love Growing Grins. We've been coming since my son was little and he's now 7. They allow parents back and make sure kids are comfortable. Huge shout out to Maria! My son had his first procedure today with laughing gas (small cavity and some sealants to protect others). He's dual ADHD, anxiety, major sensory issues, etc and was super scared. Started crying and she immediately calmed him, walked him through every step with lots of encouragement, & when he had episodes of gagging (due to the sensory), she did Amazing! Gave him short breaks and talked him thru it and breathing in and out calmly. It made this whole process so much easier and turned a scary thing into a positive experience for him. She was a blessing to our family today for sure read more

Office experience was terrible . After taking my son there for a regular clean couple months later I received a notification that I had an outstanding balance that was going to be placed in collections. I knew nothing about this balance . I called them and they claimed it was the unpaid portion from the insurance which was about 30 dollars which was doubled to now 60 with late fees. I asked why didn't anyone call me to let me know and the girl was very disrespectful about the entire situation and was saying it was my problem to know what my insurance covered and not covered. I told her I didn't want to speak to her and I would like to speak to her office manager . The officer manager never called ! My child will no longer see this dentist . The type of care wasn't that great and care quality was the same subpar. read more

My Autistic son has been coming to Dr Diana since she opened practice in Westfield several years ago. We have dealt with several dental nightmares with other dentists in the past, who have no clue how to deal with an Autistic patient. So my son and I both were so relieved to find Dr Diana. Dr Diana is a very nurturing, motherly type that does an excellent job explaining everything ahead of time and again as it's happening. She reassures him every single time, without a word from us, that there will be nothing sticky or crunchy happening...textures he cannot tolerate...and they always remember the one and only flavor of toothpaste that he can tolerate and always have it in stock. She and her staff also always do a fantastic job praising and building up my son. I just cannot say enough good things about them. If you have a special needs child, this is the dentist for them. My son now confidently walks in and checks himself in and goes back for his cleaning without me. In the past, just the idea of a dentist visit with other dentists would result in nightmares, nights before the visit. The office is decorated extremely cute, shabby chic and the younger children always seem to enjoy the playhouse in the waiting room. Dr Diana's receptionists have always been extremely friendly as well and enjoy striking up conversations. read more

Be careful your child doesn't get sick. They have a 3 strikes and you're out policy. They don't tell you about it until after you've canceled. You'll get a text message. They're pleasant until you have an issue, then they have no customer service training on how to resolve an issue. They'll just talk over you. No customer loyalty. We were referred to Growing Grins from a friend who is a dentist himself. He sends most of pediatric work to Growing Grins and that right here made me want to check this place out! I was blown away by The great staff, inviting atmosphere and the fantastic dentist! Our son - at the time was two - and unfortunately he got a cavity (I'm embarrassed to say!) and worked with them to have them filled. It was a wonderful experience! The whole process was explained in depth during our first consult - even down to a tour of the facility and a breakdown of potential costs. Then when we came back for the procedure it was seamless and even better than we thought. I've since referred a number of friends and I will continue to do so! read more

This practice really IS as good as it gets. Everyone you encounter is kind, gentle and loving. The office is designed with kids in mind, and my nervous little boy instantly felt at ease in this office. I also appreciate how thorough they were in calling my insurance carrier for me (while I was there) to lay out my exact out of pocket expenses. My daughter is absolutely terrified of the dentist. That is why we chose a pediatric dentist, she had an appointment and it took a little bit longer than normal because she was extremely scared crying terrified to have her teeth cleaned. Then a couple weeks later I get billed for a $75 charge for behavior management first of all we as parents did the behavior management. This would be like going to a pediatric doctor and being charged for your child crying while getting shots/exam this is absolutely ridiculous I don't think you should be charge for your child to be scared at the dentist!!! Isn't that why you as parent choose a pedatric dentist! We will not be back! read more

Unfortunately I cannot post glowing reviews of this pediatric dentist. Parents beware that if you take your young toddler in for their initial dentist visit this is not a facility that will help you little grow accustomed to the dental chair, the tools, opening their mouth for the dentist to count their teeth, etc. This office thinks it is entirely appropriate to complete a full cleaning on children under two years old and is fine with prying your little one's jaw open for twenty minutes or longer to complete a cleaning if your little one is terrified and crying. Not only was my little one traumatized, I as a parent was traumatized seeing my little one having her mouth forcefully pulled open. My little had to be medicated for three days after her cleaning because her jaw was so sore. After taking my daughter to another dentist for a second opinion, I was told it was completely inappropriate to hold a young child's mouth open as they did and many dentists will not begin cleaning a child's teeth until 3 years of age because of the trauma a cleaning can cause. Posting this for other parents just so that maybe other parents can avoid having their little toddlers traumatized as mine was. In addition, if you are not okay with the dentist prying your littles mouth open and your little won't open his or her mouth, you will be charged for the entire cleaning whether or not a cleaning occurs. Just FYI so that you don't waste your dental benefits for 6 months using this office. I should also state, I have a elementary aged child who began his dental experience in a different dentist office out of state and that office purposefully schedules an appointment for young children to come in, meet the dentist, play in the chair and see then dental tools without receiving a cleaning to ensure a positive experience going forward. This child of mine has NEVER been scared of the dentist and I personally attribute this positivity to slowly acclimating him to the experience of going to the dentist. read more

Everything about this place is lovely. The staff is lovely, Dr. Kozlowski is lovely, the office is lovely. I brought my 15 month old son in for his first visit, and everyone was so friendly, kind and truly great with kids. I came in worried that I wasn't doing the "right" thing for my son's dental care based on what I had read online, and Dr. Kozlowski was so reassuring and informative. I'm so glad my husband and I picked this office. I really love it. Also, the visit and cleaning was very quick, which was great for my son! I will recommend this office to all my friends with children. read more
