Stay away from their "special pricing" to avoid being their next victim. These people are the worst contractors I've ever worked with. Horrible at communicating even simple things. The owner, Mark, showed up to quote the job and take our down payment and then he never spoke to us in person again. He told us they would be done in 4-5 days when they started. Then would tell us that they would be back to our house on a certain day and wouldn't show up for days and not return calls or texts to keep us informed of their plans. My wife spent days waiting at home for them to show up and they didn't have the courtesy to say they weren't going to make it that day. Their foreman was condescending and rude and took no responsibility for their mistakes or their poor quality work. They damaged a brand new $6000 pergola by running into it with a wheelbarrow and didn't even mention it to us. They waited for us to find it before they acknowledged the damage. Then in the end they stiffed us for about 15 dead plants and a large tree because we let him know 2 days after the 30 day warranty expired (that I didn't even know a limit existed). The owner said that he was going to replace the plants as I paid the final payment, and then just went silent. He then made his office assistant call to tell us he wasn't going to replace them like he had promised. Most of the plants died because they didn't run drip lines until more than a week after plants were planted and many of the plants set around in their pots without be watered for days before they finally planted them. They had to redo the turf in our back yard because the crew got no direction from the owner. In then end their 4-5 day job took nearly 2 months to finish. I also just received a call from the owner about this same review that I left on Google and Facebook. He called me a liar and threatened me that I needed to take my opinion of his services down or (he trailed off at that point). He offered to replace all of the dead plants if I removed his poor review, which I refused because I have already replaced all of the plants except the pear tree. I believe it is important for a truthful review to stay instead of letting him "buy" having my fact based opinions removed. You deserve the truth. read more

Called GrowPro Landscaping directly to request two overgrown bushes be trimmed. Explained that the property has 2 entrance gates and one bush at each entrance is overgrown which makes it difficult to enter and exit both entrance gates to property without brushing up against overgrown bushes. GrowPro landscapers access both of the entrance gates on a regular basis which one would logically notice that each bush is overgrown and needs to be trimmed. But instead this fact had to be pointed out. The request was not fulfilled properly and a follow up call was made. The secretary used a couple of demeaning tactics including gaslighting the customer and insulting customers by possibly describing a child as the dog. read more

Ron B. couldn't have said it any better. I had about the same experience with these people (now calling themselves LandPro Landscaping). Really good at taking your money and their last words were, "If there's anything you don't like, call and we'll fix it." That was February of this year and I haven't been able to get Mark to answer ANY of my questions or concerns about the way my front lawn turned out. Sadly, it is 2 different colors of turf - whether it was laid incorrectly or just a bad seam (which I commented on early on and was told, "Don't worry. You won't see it in the end.") Righhhhht. I also lost about 1/3 of the plants they planted due to the same issue - not making sure water is run to the planting site. I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection and since they DID install the turf as they said they would, there's nothing I can do. So much for pride in workmanship. Mark even had the nerve to tell the representative that he'd be happy to rip it out and re do it. So, where's my phone call from you, Mark? Still waiting. DO NOT use this company. They will NEVER call you back if you have a problem and DEFINITELY purchase your plants from Home Depot or Lowe's where you can at least take dead ones back for a refund or replacement. I'm sure Mark made lots of $ off of buying mine at STAR Nursery - where there is no warranty - and I got the same thing - no warranty. Even if there was one, he wouldn't call you back until after the warranty period was passed. I had 2 other companies come out and look at my front lawn. They both agreed that there is a problem. One company even told me that they've redone several of Mark's projects. Anything less than a phone call from Mark Sasselli and action on his part to fix my turf will not be acceptable. Period. Their edges are shabby and they left long pieces that I had to go around and cut off everywhere. Stay away from these guys. They changed their name from GrowPro to LandPro (probably to escape from some angry customers). We asked them to replace the dirt underneath some major spots in our yard and then re-lay sod over the GOOD topsoil. We asked for water drains in both ends of the yard to drain excess water from the lawn that seemed to be killing it. They didn't put in new topsoil, just laid the sod and within three weeks we had the same DEAD lawn in a large area. The drains were installed wrong because they DO NOT drain water from the yard. We got them to come back to supposedly fix a pipe leading from the drain but they didn't fix it - the drains still DO NOT WORK. We spent two months trying to contact them, was always referred to a phone number that was always full and would not take messages. We stopped payment on their work but had waited so long while we were trying to get ahold of them that claim was denied so we are out the $3000 and still nothing to show for it. We will have to take them to small claims court. read more
