When brought to HR's attention, management would not allow HR to honor their printed pay offer. It is nothing unusual to show up to work and find the business locked up and shut down. Employees are not notified in advance. Management quietly does the "client shuffle" when counts get low. Clients are shuffled like cattle, moved to one house and employees are unexpectedly sent home for undetermined amounts of time. Requested time off, even according to policy, results in denial with fictitious reasoning. The management is quick to judge and non-responsive and seem to be on a constant witch hunt. Their constant suspicion is driven by their own underhanded, low ball treatment. When you have concerns, management will run, hide, and make excuses. You must force them to talk face to face. Unfortunately, it is quite clear that money means more to management than employee or client support. No consistency of scheduling and EXTREMELY shady pay. They will call you in to cover, then renege at the last minute, when they find a lower paid employee. The hours you punch on the time clock never match the hours on your paycheck. You might get your check on pay day...you might not. There is no direct deposit and checks are hand delivered well after banking hours. I could go on and on.....I'm sure you get the picture. I'll say it again, unless you're extremely desperate, do not work for this company. read more

This company will take on your children as patients and even though they do not have a reason to medicate them, they will try and trick the children into signing forms that claim they are dealing with depression so that they (Dr Joy and John Lewis) can medicate and profit with your children in treatment for as long as 2 - 2 1/2 months (do the math on that). The owners John and Dr. Joy Lewis are bullies to the staff and do not allow any of the staff to take breaks. Many of the staff are forced to work double and even triple shifts with no breaks. Do you feel comfortable with staff attending to/monitoring your children that have not slept nor had a break of any kind? If you are looking to work at any of these facilities, think twice, the turnover rate is ridiculously high because of the unethical business practices of the owners John and Joy Lewis. Do not be deceived by this being a "Faith-based" treatment center because it is everything but that. Any complaints about this organization should be submitted to the joint commission through their website. We took our daughter here. Totally incompetent staff. They kept having technical issues for their conference room and kept canceling group therapies that we were paying for. Additionally, our mentally incompetent daughter was the victim of older sexual predators attending the facility. Also, one day the male therapist that was assigned to our daughter simply disappeared never to return, with no explanation or apology given by the facility about the interruption to her care. Although the facility claimed to offer a program for suicidal teens, all of the material seemed geared toward substance abuse, and our daughter claimed that she learned no coping mechanisms and never understood why she was there. Finally, the chef at the facility kept leaving her knives out in the open. read more
