This was one of our riders' dogs. It looked so pretty I took a pic anyway. Not sure the type of dog

The Bell Gardens bike group I ride with some weekends picked this place as a stop for munchies. The outer appearance catches your eye on the street, but the decore inside! They went all out! The menu here is not too big, just tortas, tacos, hot dogs, chilaquiles, and I think I saw a banner out front that read posole and menudo on weekends...might wanna call to confirm that. We all sat outside in their outer patio. The girls came to take our orders, and we did get everything we asked for, they just forgot the request to cut 1 persons hot dog in half. My torta was salchicha and huevo...aka weenie and eggs. The mayo avocado and tomatoes completed it! So yummy. The bread had a toast to it but wasn't too dense. Pillowy soft when you bit into it. Great spot! But it looked lonely for a Sunday. Get down there and try these guys out! Actually I should say gals...since its women owned!

This restaurant has a fun theme and pretty good food. I really enjoyed the decor. I ordered food to go and it did take a while. The food is made fresh though and the tortas are delicious. They have several combinations to choose from. The 2 salsas that they come with were also excellent. The green one had a kick to it and the orange one was nice and creamy. The servers didn't look a bit overwhelmed, but they tried their best. If I go again I will probably order ahead.

We went around lunch time on a Saturday and it was pretty empty, we loved the whole garage vibe , kind of being at a museum, we really enjoyed their bean dip that comes our before your meal, got tortas and they were huge ! You can easily share with someone, only think we didn't like was they charge and extra $2 to pay with card . We told waitress we were first timers and it would of been nice if the waitress could explain their menu seeing as we were the only ones there , we had to ask her what the difference was in their fries and she couldn't really explain. But food was overall tasty and we will come back .

Drove by this location and was not expecting to be so good, the food quality was fresh and amazing, the customer service was excellent, and the vibe was homie. I would say don't let this place fooled you, because it might be something worth trying.

I live nearby this place and I drive past it every time. Today, I decided to stop by with my dad and we didn't really know what to expect but I'm glad we came! The server who attended us seemed a bit shy, it seemed like it was his first time as a server but it's okay because he still got our orders right and was very friendly and checked up on us to ask if we needed anything else which was nice. The server brought us chips and salsa and our drinks very fast. My dad and I ordered tortas, he got the Oaxaqueña torta and I got the Toulqueña. We didn't have to wait too long, about 15 mins for our food to arrive. When it arrived, it was piping hot and fresh! The tortas are big and were definitely filling! Delicious flavor and the wooden board they serve the tortas on is such a nice touch! We really enjoyed the food and the decor of the place. We will be coming back again soon to try other items off their menu!

The place decor is so cute! Very much a garage vibe. Super colorful and vintage at the same time. The guy who sat us and took our order was very nice. It was great he spoke Spanish and English! We ordered 2 hotdogs, 1 torta and empanadas. We all were satisfied. We liked the that everything was super warm/hot, does take time to get but worth it. The drinks aren't refilled and kind of expensive. Will be returning.

This hidden gem hasn't been open for long but so glad I grew curious to try it out! Decor is so unique with many antique items / decor The service is great and so is the food! The chilaquiles with milanesa were so good as they were crunchy and not soggy , We also got the hamburger and we LOVED the fresh house made fries with the dipping sauces. We will definitely be coming back!

Grub Garage in Cudahy is a vibe--fun garage theme, clean space, super nice staff. Came with my daughter; menu runs hot dogs and tortas (my love language). She did the chorizo and loved it. I went Chavo del 8 (jamón)....excellent. A must-try. We'll be back soon.

This place is a must try if you are in the SELA area. Shoot!!! I'd say its worth the drive. The decor gives it a "garage-ish" vibe but in a cute sorta way. The customer service was great. Very attentive and spot on. It was my first time here so I asked for Nathan's input on some suggestions. I went with the torta and it was delicious. The portion was huge. I almost forgot. They serve chips with a frijoles rancheros dip and that was amazing!!! To sum it up, the food, the customer service and the setup was wonderful.

This place is a whole in the wall!! So underrated. Yummy, fresh, and authentic tortas! Can't beat that. The welcoming energy, and cool vibes of the design of this place is so cool! They're 1000/10. We felt so welcomed, and had such a great service from the host. So glad we stopped by. Try the hawaiana & chilanga! You will thank you me later.

The outside may look interesting and tame but it's just the intro to something amazing

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! One person doesn't bring down a team ! Both meats were good, but a little under-seasoned for my personal taste. I also tried the Jamaica agua fresca. It was refreshing, but I'd personally give it about a 2 out of 5. On the other hand, the salsa macha was really good and added a lot of flavor to the meal. The place is a bit small for dining in, especially when it gets busy, but the customer service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. I'd definitely come back again because I noticed several other menu items I'd like to try next time.

Of the many options I just went with a brew and a quesadilla I decided on getting a pastor one and it was super yummy very flavorful and a very good size it came with some rice and beans as well both of them were delicious as well making for a yummy little combo plate. But the real kicker here is that avocado salsa that was soo good and just added some delicious zest to a already really yummy quesadilla but the other sauces were good too especially the red one it seemed more like a chili oil than a hot sauce but either way it was quite yummy! Overall this was a good time and some much needed yummy food! Hopefully I make it back here again at some point for something scrumptious as well as a good time!
