Chris's RAW food. Unfortunately this has happened to us on more than 1 occasion. We even asked them if they could make the bacon well done this time due to getting undercooked food from here in the past. What we received was 2 burritos with completely raw bacon. See the pictures, we were pulling out endless strands of this stuff. They could seriously kill somebody with this. I love eating at these greasy spoon restaurants where you can get a filling meal for a reasonable price. I was going to order a breakfast burrito but changed my mind when I saw they serve Huevos a la Mexicana which is my favorite Mexican breakfast dish. They were busy making burgers before they got to my breakfast order. The food was pretty good but they didn't make it the traditional way as other restaurants do because they added ham pieces into the eggs. Came here to get a hamburger special let's start by the taste of the burger 8 out of 10 I think the thousand island if they were to tweak it up a little bit it's too red. The fries were overcooked seasoning on the fries was needed. Service was wonderful even though I went through the drive-through overall rate this place 8 out of 10 tips probably make your thousand island dressing taste better. It's too red for me. I like it more in the light side. Add more mayonnaise instead of ketchup. Some radish and mustard would help a lot on the taste and color. read more

It was lunch time and as you know when the stomach starts to growl.. it's time to eat. As I was driving around, I noticed Chris's Hamburgers and unexpectedly i saw it had a drive thru that was working(Big +) but I chose to go inside and I'm glad I did. The interior has got an old school feel with leather booths that are pretty big and TVs to watch games if they are on which they were for me. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger combo which came with fries and a drink. It came out to $9.13 which is a bit much, however, It's good to see that it's freshly made once you order. Now to the good stuff. Holy Moly...A good looking cheeseburger with sesame bun, melted cheese, lettuce, thousand island dressing dripping, etc and at the same time some of the best fries I have ever had. They were just crispy enough to get the crunch and I could easily have them everyday. The cheeseburger does fall apart a bit but I couldn't help myself but enjoy. Then I found a hamburger place called Chris's Hamburgers not that far from Wal-Mart,my wife and I decided to go to Chris's Hamburgers to get something to eat. It's a cash only restaurant many time I have been cash only restaurant price reasonable and food very good,but there's time not so good. My wife and I decided to cheeseburger combo. They called my number I pick up our meal I told some fries they were very crispy and ketchup they so good. I've been wanting to review this place for so long and today is the day. Please take your time and read what I have to say, it's worth it. I've been coming here for at least 20 years. I remember we (our whole family of 5) were gonna make a trip to San Francisco when I was like 8 or 9. It was maybe 10, 11am and we came to Chris's Hamburgers. My dad and mom ordered a chicken dinner and me and siblings got simple cheese burgers. Soon after we moved a city away from this establishment and made frequent visits. When I was old enough to appreciate fried chicken instead of the usual cheese burger I finally tried their dinner plate and I was hooked. I come here mainly for the chicken dinner now and have been coming myself after I got married at least 5 times a month ever since. Before I talk about the food, you have to know the customer service here is the best... period. All the employees know me, my wife and entire family. Not only that but all my close friends say they are also known by the employees. They are all very nice, joke around and ask how your day/life is going. They are very genuine. Even the owner knows me and gave me free merchandise and offered me some free food sampling for upcoming menu items. In all the years I've been here, I've seen major upgrades to this place. It still remains a certain look to give it that feel of an older diner but they've implemented a drive thru and got new TV's and did some upholstery to the table and seats. This doesn't mean the place is perfect, it can still use a hand. The only bad thing I have to say is that they DONT ACCEPT DEBIT. They are cash only! But once you eat there you will fall in love that it won't bother you. Here's what I've tried from their menu, Chicken Dinner, All their Burgers, Steak Sandwich, Pastrami Sandwich, All their Burritos, their Quesadillas, Chili Cheese Fries and all their breakfasts. I recommend you to try their zucchinis. I've never complained and I don't think you will either. You should definitely come and try this place if you're hungry and are close by. I didn't give it a full star because I plan on coming back and trying out another items ! I always drive by here and decide to give it a try ! Have to say chili cheese fries did not disappoint! The flavor was super good and the zucchini fries are good as well but just a tad plain no salt I thought it's ok if I just have them with ranch it will hit the spot but am sorry to say the ranch is the kinda cheap ranch no one really likes ! This food was AMAZING !!! I ordered the hotdog combo meal. The bun was grilled to perfection, light crunch. The hotdog was so crisp skin yet juicy inside.the toppings made it uperfectl ! My husband ordered the chili hamburger combo meal. He was amazed at how good their chili was. Their thick fries so crunchy on the outside yet soft inside.
