Love this place I eat here on the regular. Best place to feel like home, and getting a awesome home cooked meal love this place

Cucumber, Lemon & Chia agua fresca
    Ana B.

This place has some of the best breakfast burritos and aguas frescas. Their agua de pepino with chia and limon is so delicious, definitely a must try! I love that it is family owned and everyone is super nice. They have so many options for food and the place is very clean!

A delicious Caldo de res with handmade tortillas!

This place has to be my absolute favorite place in the city of bell. This little bionico spot also sells homemade food. From caldos, to breakfast burritos etc. anything the owner makes its delicious. Not only is the food the best part but also the customer service. La sra mari and her daughter are the sweetest and will welcome you with such a positive attitude and will make you feel like you're at home. I recommend this spot 100% if your not at bionicos and cafe then where are you at?!

Some of their most popular juices

I love this place! Every time I go to the hair salons across the street I go straight for the Asada Torta which is to amazing and their juice bar is truly a all natural juice bar. ( none of that sugary Jamba Juice stuff)

    Red enchiladas

The enchiladas were so good I didn't even have time to take a complete photo. Hands down the best authentic Mexican food you're ever going to find. The chicken is cooked to perfections and their spicy red sauce in unmatchable. 10/10 recommend with the agua de pepino y limón.

This is a tiny hole in the wall, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in flavor. The cosido soup was really good with the hand made tortillas

Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

Poached Neighborhood Kitchen presents itself as the kind of elevated brunch destination that…read morepromises thoughtful execution and a polished dining experience. Unfortunately, the reality falls noticeably short of that expectation. While the food itself is serviceable, it never rises beyond what you might expect from a standard at-home breakfast spread. Nothing on the table felt particularly memorable, inventive, or worth returning for. The biggest disappointment came in the details, but really lack thereof. The fruit served alongside the meal had the unmistakable appearance and texture of pre-packaged, bulk-distributed produce, lacking the freshness and vibrancy you would hope for from a restaurant positioning itself as a neighborhood kitchen. It gave more cafeteria than curated brunch. Service also struggled to meet even basic hospitality standards. Water refills required repeated attempts to get someone's attention, and neighboring tables were similarly left flagging down staff for utensils and tableware. Once the order was placed and food delivered, attentiveness seemed to disappear almost entirely. I'm not sure where the standard is set.. Given the location and atmosphere, there's an expectation of a more refined and welcoming experience, but the execution never quite supports the price point or reputation. If you do visit, avoid outdoor seating unless you're prepared for an even more disconnected service experience. Ultimately, there are far better places to spend your brunch budget. Especially when this is the kind of meal many could comfortably recreate at home with fresher ingredients and more care. If you're going to have competitive price points for these meals they should at least match.

My favorite appetizer are the Molletes which are toasted bolillos with chorizo and bean spread topped with cheese and pico de gallo. My favorite plates are the Carne en su Jugo, which is pork in green chilli sauce, and the Albondigas beef meatball soup. The soup is plentiful and doesn't disappoint in flavor. The meatballs are tender and have a perfect flavor profile of herbs and spice. Honestly, nothing disappoints here. The Pollo in Mole is also delicious. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. The Pollo con Rajas is creamy, cheesy, flavorful and the chicken has always been juicy underneath all that sauce, cooked perfectly. I've also had the teak tacos and they're filling, tasty, and a perfectly compliment to anything you will order. The sides are usually rice and beans and they've always been perfect. The rice is soft and the beans are addicting. Javier is always warm and friendly, he does an amazing job with his restaurant. He tends to his patrons wonderfully and deserves all praise, as well as his staff. They compliment the small dining area and make you feel like you're eating at home or with family. I forgot exactly what I had, I want to say it was bistec ranchero or something like that. it was good, nothing bad, but also felt average. They served us chips with mole on top and I was like, why did they pour mole all over, bring a little bucket of mole and let me dip it on the side. That's what a good Christian would do, but no, they went with an anti-Christian practice here, communist almost. don't assume I want everything with mole. I would have been ok with it if the mole had been bomb ass good, but it was ok. I had heard this place used original Oaxacan mole or something so I was hyped. My wife had some eggs with whatever the heck a Filipino woman orders at a Mexican place and she's was fine. I feel bad about this review, maybe this place is a victim of its former reputation, and I was expecting very good Mexican food and all I got was OK Mexican food. Also, for a true Mexican spot, you need to have café Mexicano, with canelita and the waiter told me they didn't have any. How can this be? I do not approve. Maybe if you are white or non-Mexican or a fake Mexican, I think you would have a different opinion of this place, you might think is great, just like El Torito is. Am I confusing this place with some other restaurant because the place I heard of was in Bell and the cooks/chefs were this renowned chefs and I don't think that's the case here or now. For sure, this place is not bad and I don't think you will get bad food, it was just underwhelming.

I can completely understand why they received Michelin recognition because the flavors tasted so homemade and comforting, like something my mom or grandma would have spent all morning preparing from scratch... One thing I really loved is how customizable the mole dishes are. You get to choose from different regional styles of mole, ranging from sweet to spicy, and pair them with your choice of protein like chicken, steak, or salmon. It's such a unique and fun dining experience... Before the meal, they brought out chips topped with different mole sauces as an appetizer, and honestly, that alone was incredible.
