No pre-teen gets excited about the prospect of having metal in their mouth for years, but Dr. Suffield diffused all my pre-teen angst with his cheery, positive attitude and bright smile. He was kind, caring, and always had funny jokes to tell me as he was tightening my wires--which turned what otherwise would have been an insufferable ordeal into a really pleasant experience. I cannot thank him enough for being such a wonderful orthodontist and friend to me for the 2.5 years it took to straighten my teeth. Being under his care made all of the difference for me: it helped me stay positive about the whole situation, and also helped me adhere to his guidelines and wear my retainers after my braces were taken off. Now, many years later, I'm about to graduate law school and I feel confident inside and out. Appearance isn't everything in life, but having straight teeth surely helps one feel more beautiful. From the…read morebeginning, Dr. Grace Kerr prioritized the idea of maintaining my side profile, something I had never asked for, but I trusted her judgement as a medical professional. The outcome of this led to my teeth being pulled out forwards, exposing the roots out of the front of my jaw bone, causing them to become so unstable that I was advised to stop all contact sports due to how they were positioned over the years by Dr. Grace Kerr. I was told I would be out of braces by my sophomore year of high school, but I am now 22 still undergoing corrective work elsewhere to fix the issues developed during my treatment at Grace Kerr Orthodontics. This has significantly affected my confidence and no real accountability was ever taken. I'm sure she has moved on from my case, but I still think about her, and am forced to deal with the repercussions of what she did to me every single day. Based on my experience, I do not feel Dr. Grace Kerr can be trusted with anyone's dental care.

Located in Hyde Park Square, he was located literally around the corner from my former dentist who recently retired. My teeth were pretty misaligned in my teen years. I had a severe crowding problem and just some cockeyed teeth! My parent's insurance couldn't afford to get braces so they worked with Dr. Wnek to come up with other types of appliances as an alternate solution. I had several different contraptions in my mouth that were all less obtrusive and less annoying than braces. One I remember was a "W" appliance that sat in the roof of my mouth and was attached to one tooth on each side. It was tightened weekly and worked to get rid of the crowding. Sitting in his office is quite enjoyable. Each of the rooms where he works on you are facing these giant windows and you get to look out over Hyde Park Square!
