Second, My husband, unexpectedly, tore his retina. I took him immediately to our regular eye doctor and he called Dr Chung, who was in the parking lot on his way home. Dr. Chung didn't hesitate to see my husband and performed emergency surgery. To make a long story short. My husband has regained his 20/20 vision. Dr. Chung said that doesn't happen very often. I Called and was able to get a same day appointment even during the recent Covid pandemic. The establishment I found to be roomy and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpfull even know she seems to be a one girl band as she answer's the phone, does the administration work and was the nurse but shes very efficient. They didnt seem very busy as when I walked in there were only two other people waiting. My appointment was for 11:00 am and was not seen by The Doctor until 11:45 which does irritate me as my time is important to me also as I'm sure the doctor wouldn't be happy with me if I was this late, in fact i would probably be charged. With all that being said, The Doctor was very, very nice and thorough.

I didn't call for medical records, just 1 sheet of paper. I spoke with the first associate who explain to me that it was a fee that MVA charges (which is not true). I spoke with Julie(office Manager) who came to the phone, no proper greeting & very dismissive. Of course, I paid the fee because she needs the form. Long wait time! Appointment time was 2:45pm. We got here about 10-15 minutes earlier. It is now…read more4:06pm and we're still waiting to go back to see the doctor. My child's eyes were dilated almost an hour ago. They don't allow food and drinks so prepare for your kid(s) to be bored and asking for food, even if they eat before their appointment. Very crowded! Some parents had to sit far away from their child(ren) because there weren't many seats available. I believe they overbook to accommodate for no-shows. We got NUMEROUS appointment reminders within the past couple days about our appointment--even after I confirmed the appointment. I inquired about why it's taking so long and why people who came after us are being seen before us but they said it's different doctors. I've only seen one. Not to mention the parents that was complaining about the wait time were told the same then seen before us, even though they came after. I think they pushed us back to accommodate to the parents that were complaining. I'll be looking for an alternative practice to take my child in the future.
