This year, I decided to go to Hunterdon Family Eye Care for my optical needs. I parked and entered a building, went up to the 5th floor and was met with a large waiting room. I then had to fill out my new patient intake forms and waited all of 20 minutes before Dr. Abbas was ready to do my eye exam. Everything went by quickly, they checked my eye health, verified that I was currently wearing contact lenses and then began my eye exam. I was remiss in not bringing the prescription I had earlier but Dr. Abbas took care me in no time. After the exam, she discussed my payment options for new lenses; what my insurance covered, any applicable rebates, and how much I would pay in total for this visit. It was extremely helpful and the comfort in knowing what my options were and what I could do was great. I was able to try two different brands of daily lenses to see which ones I liked more and got about a 10 day supply of them to continue using to see how my eye felt. Hunterdon Family Eye Care was an amazing experience and I truly felt part of their family. I will definitely be coming back despite a hour and half drive to this office. Professional, attention to detail, and a high level of customer service and experience is well worth it. One lady stood around doing nothing behind the counter. Very inconvenient and do not recommend.
