One single bathroom for the whole terminal. TSA doesn't open til 2 PM, so no point in getting there before that for a PM flight. The line for security got long, but moved fairly quick-ish. Once in the waiting area (for all two gates), there is a decent amount of seating. For arrival, there is a taxi line that's convenient. The main reason I ended up here is because United is the only airline that flies from Denver to Santa Fe direct. Additionally . . . give yourself 25 or so minutes from the main part of town to arrive at the airport. But again, for the afternoon, no point in getting there before 2 PM *shrugs*

DELAYED flights, American Airlines kept me there by saying "hour delay" after 3 hours you could cancel without any issues. After 5 hours flight arrived. American Airlines is not transparent here, they could have said "5 hours delay" During this time, i left my suitcase with passenger next to me, while i took about 20 steps away to get coffee. The security came and took my bag. The airline is SO small he was watching on a camera (his words) and saw me walk away to coffee stand. I understand security, but it was over kill. When i mentioned the woman next to me was watching my bag he said "you are going to implicate her" overkill. I suggest flying into Albuquerque air port, renting a car or take the train. It is about an hour commute. Plans delayed here too much. If flying out of Santa Fe good idea if you have leisure travel schedule

TSA nationally could learn some things from these employees. Added a pre-check line recently. Still in line with the others but they have signage now! Believe they are trying to separate things. Recent remodel to the airport added "more" food options and more TSA space. Still it's a small airport but when it comes to TSA that's a good thing. Less Disney-sequel lines to snake through. More friendly TSA demeanor. You feel like a human person and not just a head of cattle being moved through to slaughter. Keep your change, jewelry, and loose metals in your bag and it's easy peasy. A large majority of TSA foulups are people bringing three dollars in loose pennies through. Be prepared to toss your bags on the conveyor and step through with proper identification. Thanks!

I usually fly American coach, which is comfortable and everyone respectful having on board amenities like cell phone chargers and free intertainment and one carry on. United, on the other hand, gave me grief for my very small duffle and laptop. Telling me l was only allowed one personal item and what l had didn't qualify. All this after going to the airport beforehand to ask, and their telling me it was okay? They relented still it was frustrating to board after the fact having to strap the laptop onto the duffel, making it a single item . Everyone around me couldn't believe how l was being treated over such a small item. Right now, I have reason never to recommend or fly united again. Stingiest airline l have ever encountered making monsters of their employees.

Andre at Hertz rental car at the Santa Fe airport was beyond excellent in helping me get a one way…read morerental car to Kansas City at 9:45PM (just before closing). My car lost it's transmission and the tow truck driver was able to get in touch with Andre to help me get the rental car. Both of them were God sends in my hour of need. I can't give them enough praise and would rate the service as a 5++.

We needed a one way rental, because we were picking up a truck that we were buying in Santa Rosa, CA. We're a family of 3. The Santa Fe Hertz was short-staffed and running behind. We had to wait an hour and a half to get the rental that they didn't get a chance to clean. When we got to Santa Rosa they took a $500 deposit that they said would be refunded in a number of days. Not only did they not refund us our $500, but they accused us of having dogs in the car and claimed that the cleaning fee was $500. (We have multiple witnesses including the man who sold us our truck who met us at the airport that we had no dogs with us in California). Our credit card company is fighting them on our behalf. Wow. Just wow.

He charged us $40 per person!!! $120 total for a trip into town that Uber or Lyft does for $19-$39! AND he spent the whole trip telling us that he was doing us a favor! My husband gave him the physical address of the hotel we were staying at, but he drove in the opposite direction downtown and then claimed he had another fare, and since he did us a favor by driving us without a reservation, he was dropping us off MILES from our hotel and that he'd come back 30 minutes later to get us! He claimed that "every hotel in Santa Fe is the Santa Fe something-or-other" and that we told him the WRONG HOTEL. WE DID NOT! We booked an Uber out here for our return trip for $19 TOTAL.
