I booked and paid the non-refundable fare on June 2, 2024 for service date of July 28, 2024 for my elderly parents. (91 and 89). On the evening of July 25, I received an email from the limo owner Deanna Ballard stating that they could not provide the service at the quoted price. She said the trip cost is now $1,500! With only a couple of days notice, I was unable to hire anyone and ended up driving them to Santa Fe. It was 630 miles roundtrip. When I asked her about the substantial difference the quote and the actual price, Deanna stated that her website gave an inaccurate quote. I asked why they didn't reach out in the beginning of June, so we could make other arrangements, she had no answer. I was curious, so I requoted the exact fare on her website https://wtmllc.com The fare came up as $348. I called her back and asked about the fare, and she said it will still be $1,500 and that she had a client in a similar emergency situation and also charged them $1500 for their fare. Do not trust the quote you receive, it is a "Bait and Switch". At the last minute they will cancel your limo unless you pay the jacked up price. NOTE: When I researched World Travel Management Limo Service, I discovered that their address, 223 N Guadalupe St #498 Santa Fe NM 87501 is a UPS Store Mailbox and that the photos of their fleet are actually Google Stock Photos of Limousine cars.

Sometimes you have no choice, but if can take an airport shuttle with hotels, rideshare options, or research the price of private company rides to your destination ahead of time would make a difference. Taxis companies like this, they don't explain extra fees until they drop you off, not including tip. They also ask if you are traveling on personal or business at the end of the ride and that might factor into the price. Its sketchy. I wouldn't trust them. This kind of pricing has to stop.

The shuttle service runs about every 20 minutes, and gets you directly to the main visitor's entrance of Bandelier. Inside the visitors center is where you'll find tons of information of nearby attractions and sites, with brochures, maps, etc... The space was also very large, clean and dog-friendly. There's also a help desk at the center where staff are happy to speak with you for recommendations and assistance. You can also pay for your park fees here. I advise anyone who's on their way to Bandelier National Monument to stop by the White Rock Visitor Center for its shuttle service and getting tips and information on other nearby sites while in the area.

The air in Santa Fe is fabulous and one a 2 seated open air, human powered tricycle this is the only way to go. I stopped by one and struck up a conversation with 71 year old peddle/driver, Pete, by asking if Pedicab was hiring. Great guy, originally from the NYC area and transplanted to Santa Fe only one years ago. His knowledge of the area, rich history, and it's people was most impressive. We talked for roughly 20 minutes and his vim and vigor for life, health, and continued gathering of knowledge was inspiring. Imagine, 71, yes a former biker & runner, but able to a 21 geared tricycle with as much as 350-600 pounds of cargo is jaw dropping. Remember, when you accept a ride, please, generously tip these bubbly tourist driven enthusiasts.

Once I checked out of my hotel, I needed to kill some time before I got on the Rail Runner train. I had seen a colorful Pedicab earlier when I took the city tour and it looked like fun. So after that tour and a visit to the Crepes Shop nearby, I was feeling pretty good but not like I wanted to hike all the way down to the Santa Fe Depot for the train. That's when I saw a blond guy sitting in a Pedicab parked in Santa Fe Plaza. I asked him how much he charged and it was one dollar per minute, That seemed affordable so I hopped on. Soon we were passing through the beautiful Plaza and on our way through the Railyard District. It was so nice taking in all the sights from an open air carriage. The driver was nice enough to stop while I admired and took pictures of a church with a lovely rose garden. Soon enough, we had arrived at the Depot and the ride was only $12. The driver had used his little step stool to help me get down and forget to take it when he left. So I called the Pedicab office and told them I was leaving his step stool with the Tourist Info office there. The gentleman did come back to fetch his step stool. This company does an excellent job, hire wholesome, honest-looking drivers and give visitors a fresh air way of enjoying the sights. According to their website, they also do "tours of Canyon Road Galleries (many of the drivers are artists), the Railyard District, and tours of nightlife hotspots (some of the drivers specialize in nightlife). Tours can be of any length you choose." Santa Fe Pedicab operates from 9 am to 10 pm seven days a week from May to November. Call for a reservation or ask your concierge to make arrangements. Usually there is a Pedicab somewhere around the Plaza area, which is where I found mine. 5 YELP STARS for environmentally-friendly pedal power in beautiful Santa Fe.
