I came for my appointment, paid a charge upfront and then was told I had a claim from yesterday and my X-rays and cleaning wouldn't be covered. I left and called the insurance company and they said they see no claims. Pure administrative incompetence and now I have to make sure I get my $35 refunded for the oral cancer screening I didn't receive. They changed ownership in the last year. Stay away. My overall service was awful all the way around. The Hispanic girl violated my HIPAA rights by announcing to the whole clinic ....what my dental insurance wouldn't pay for and didn't even contact my correct dental insurance company. When I called the office inquiring about my partial, I was talked to very disrespectful. I went up to the dental clinic and asked to speak to the office administrator, and they called the police on me. I am extremely disgusted, and have taken my business elsewhere! I've been coming here for years, but I'm done. Had an appt a week ago, the girl at the front was new and had no idea what she was doing. She told me both their phone and credit card machine weren't working. Got called back by a guy who never even said hello or introduced himself. Then he started doing X-rays. Then a woman comes in and introduces herself as Dr G (not the Dr G I've met many times in the past). She looks in my mouth, does an exam, and then says "now I will do your cleaning". Really? She says "the hygienist isn't here today. Very weird - I asked about the possibility of Invisalign - she said, "we have an orthodontist here one day a month - we can set you up an appt". then the guy comes back in to polish and floss - the floss was so thick it was hurting every time he tried to remove it from between two teeth. Entire visit was so strange! Well turns out that Dr G has retired!!! So I guess the practice was sold? They won't last I'm sure of it! read more

I went to G Dental Studio based on terrific Yelp reviews, but the experience was horrible. Dr. Hristina did a bunch of filings for me, but somehow she was in a rush and just half-assed the work. 1. Didn't polish the fillings. My tongue can feel rough surfaces all around my mouth. Shocker! 2. Didn't ensure proper gap between teeth. Some are too wide, and food easily get caught inside, while some are too tight to floss. 3. Didn't fully remove the decay/gum tissue. An abscess formed near the filling and cause me great pain. A follow-up visit was not able to fix this. Instead of treating my pain with urgency, they started to stall - scheduling me for a few weeks later. I figured it's time I should dump G Dental Studio. I went to another DDS, where they rushed an appointment for me, replaced the fillings, and eradicated the infection tissues. I could finally enjoy eating after all this debacle. (Dr. Alex did the wisdom teeth extraction for my wife, and he was nice and patient. He may be the saving grace for the practice.) read more

The front desk person was snarky with my daughter and the newly graduated dentist was flirting with the dental hygienist and barely spoke to me while checking my teeth. Maybe he was nervous....or maybe he wasn't....but either way it was unprofessional. I can't say enough good things about this dentist. My daughter and I have been coming here for a few years now. Here's what we have observed: 1. They are fast and efficient when it comes to cleanings. They go in, get the job done, and they do it well. 2. They care about their patients. They have helped save me from spending money unnecessarily and let me know what would work within my insurance. 3. They are awesome with kids. They really know how to make kids who might be a little anxious about going to the dentist feel comfortable. Plus, they give them really cool little apple sunglasses and choice from the treasure box. They even have cute kids toothbrushes that they give them. My daughter looks forward to coming to the dentist. 4. As for the adult side of things, the dentists are kind, patient, and gentle, taking their time to explain things to you and help you understand what's going on and why and offering helpful suggestions. 5. I hadn't been to the dentist in 25 yrs...terrified of the dentist. Dr. Alex and his assistant were amazing, they made me feel very comfortable, and gave me a few minutes between drilling when I needed it. I had a wisdom tooth pulled, 3 cavities filled and a deep cleaning on one side. My next appointment I know I will be a lot more calmer just because I felt very welcomed. i have been going to this dentist for years and they got bought out and are now the worst dentist office I have ever experienced in my life. DO NOT go here. I have been trying for months to get an implant done with Dr. Alex. Twice they cancelled on me when I was in the parking lot, mind you I took off both times from work. Tried to reschedule and they completely changed the price due to my insurance - through their practice - now being expired, when they cancelled on me twice. Gave them one more chance today and had everything discussed with pricing prior to my appointment. Walk in today to do my implant and all pricing is way higher and not what was told to me, thousands of dollars more. I told them this is not what we discussed and she didn't care and just waited for me to leave. No apology no attempt to remedy situation. The doctor saw me and also didn't say anything just walked off, after YEARS of my whole family going here. We are all switching and I highly suggest you look elsewhere. Would highly recommend this family run office! I've always been afraid of going to the the dentist but ever since I started going to G's Dental Studio I've had only positive experiences. Both Dr. Hristina and Alek are extremely gental and patient, all of the staff are kind and welcoming, the prices are much more reasonable, and I was really impressed with the qaulity of their service. I recently got fast braces and in 2 short months already have visibly straigter teeth. I went to a specialist orthodontist when I first started thinking about braces and they told me I needed to get oral surgery and wisdom teeth removed before they would even consider aligning my teeth (total cost near $20,000). Dr. Hristina and I discussed my goals for MY perfect smile and she was able to find a solution that fit both my needs and my budget - no surgery, no extraction, and braces at a fraction of the cost. read more

This was my first time getting my teeth cleaned at G's Dental Studio. I found the hygienist to be extremely incompetent. The dentist had a good bedside manner and seemed knowledgeable, but it does not make up for the fact that the hygienist kept insisting that I get other procedures and could not do anything else until I did. If you don't want the details, here's my summary of my experience: Front desk (Kayleigh) - PROS --Friendly --Knowledgeable --Good customer service Hygienist (Stephanie) - PROS --None. CONS --Extremely pushy --Very bad technique --Made excuses and false claims Dentist (Dr. Hristine) - PROS --Good bedside manner --Seems knowledgeable --Thorough and articulate during dental evaluation For the details: My husband made an appointment for me, him, and our two girls to get a regular dental cleaning. When we arrived, the front desk folks were very warm and welcoming. We all had our X-rays and the usually things you do when you go to a dental office for the first time. Everything was fine until my hygienist took over. The hygienist was Stephanie, and from the start, she seemed annoyed that she was dealing with me, a patient with high-anxiety and bad teeth. I would describe her as the worst hygienist I've ever had (I'm 45 years old). I have a lot of plaque on my teeth, which requires deep cleaning. However, the appointment I scheduled was for REGULAR cleaning, so that's what I intended to have. Stephanie told me she could not give me a regular cleaning, and I had to come back for a deep cleaning. I told her my appointment was for a regular cleaning, and I would still have to ask my husband if we could even afford a deep cleaning at this time. After arguing with her, she finally said she would have to "ask the dentist's permission" to give me a regular cleaning. She left to ask the dentist and returned, saying she could give me a regular cleaning, but it wouldn't make a difference because I had to get the deep cleaning. She proceeded to clean my teeth, and I'm not sure if she was upset that she had to do the regular cleaning or her technique was terrible (probably both), but my shirt started getting wet, as in soaking wet. Stephanie blamed the machinery. Someone came in to fix it, but I still continued to get soaked. Finally, I said, "Can we switch to a room with better machinery?" Stephanie said no, the other rooms were booked, and we had to finish the cleaning in this room. She admitted that she hated doing the cleaning in this particular room, but we weren't allowed to switch rooms. I finally lost my temper and told her I wasn't going to continue the cleaning with her or use faulty machinery. I left the room and asked the woman at the front desk for another hygienist. I showed her my soaked shirt, and she grabbed me a towel. I saw that the other rooms at the front were empty, not all booked up, like Stephanie had claimed. Upon my insistence, they gave me a different hygienist named Maria, who was very personable and knowledgeable. Most importantly, Maria performed a regular cleaning with good technique. She didn't complain that the regular cleaning "wouldn't make a difference" because I required a deep cleaning. She didn't pressure me to come in for a deep cleaning, like Stephanie did. My shirt didn't get soaked, and the machinery worked! Maria also had a pleasant and happy attitude. I'm on the fence whether to return. I have a family of five. My husband and two daughters also had their appointments with me today, and they didn't have any issues getting a regular cleaning. As far as I know, they weren't PRESSURED into getting a deep cleaning like I was. I was planning to send my son here, too, but maybe not. I already have a bad taste in my mouth because of Stephanie. If you decide to come here, I would avoid her. Better yet, ask for Maria. She's the reason I would consider returning. read more
