He was extremely professional in person and understood what direction we wanted to take along detailing what services he could provide for what we're looking to do. We met November 2024 and unfortunately could not pull off the project immediately and had to postpone for 12 months and not once was John bothering us after about the project. Fast forward to a year later, we now had the opportunity to start the project and within 18 working days, excavation, concrete, pouring, and final landscaping was all finished and wrapped up for our backyard, courtyard, and front yard project without any hiccups. We appreciate that he was on time, built solid forms and even suggested additional drainage improvements. The finished result is better than that of a previous contractor. That said, there were some issues that detracted from the experience. We observed several crew members urinating in our yard and Tony made light of it so we had to address the workers ourselves to use a bathroom. There was also a miscalculation in the amount of concrete needed; while Tony completed the job at no extra charge using bagged concrete-which we appreciate-the situation could have been handled better from the outset given his level of experience, use a tape measure. Cleanup was a concern. The crew left behind concrete residue on surfaces like the driveway requiring several hours of my time to sweep and scrape. In summary, while the quality of the finished work is good improvements in professionalism, planning accuracy and post job cleanup would make a significant difference in the overall experience. Without these issues he's a solid 4.0/5.0 stars but we had the issues. I also overpaid $50 and my text hasn't been answered.
