I've followed them to three different locations because they are personable, reliable, and affordable. I have to say, Berto is my favorite owner. I'm glad he took over the company. He really cares about his clients. He also has a great team of employees; whenever I called for an update, I with treated with respect and kindness. Berto is experienced and more knowledgeable than any other tech I've met. He was able to save all of my files and reinstall Windows to get my PC working like new. He even spent time helping me set up my desktop before I took my laptop home. A real gentleman with a big heart. Hamilton was unable to figure out what was wrong with my laptop screen and unable to get the screen working again. Besides that, the employees were very friendly and gave me a full refund when I picked up my laptop. The customer service is good, but the repairs are lacking. read more

Tried to bend me over for $200+ for a CMOS reset, which takes a couple minutes. Went to another shop and got it done for less than the cost of Hamilton's diagnostic fee. If they're your first call, make sure to get a second consult, because it seems like they'll absolutely try to rip you off. read more

By no means am I a relative or an acquaintance of anyone that works at Hamilton Computer Repair. This team of computer experts are in my opinion and situation are the best I've ever come across. My go to place for any repairs i may need for my computer. I just feel like the pricing is a little unfair and a smidge too high. 3/5 stars.

Dismal experience. It took them 5 weeks (3 on the first attempt), then 2 on the second one, to give me my computer back, broken, exactly as before their "repair". In the meanwhile, I have been charged 220$. When I voiced my complaints and demanded either a refund or not to be further charged if they finally managed to find the problem, this subhuman called David produced the behavior you are seeing in the pictures. I don't think I have every seen such sort of behavior in all my life. This guy should not be allowed contact with the public. Cherry on top: I sought assistance with another computer repair shop, and it took them 2 DAYS, I repeat, 2 DAYS to fix it, and they charged me a fraction of the cost above. Had the folks put together a custom build for me, brought them the parts - clearly did thorough testing on it, because the mobo I brought in was defective, and once I brought the replacement in, it was done (and working perfectly) in short order. horrible service. i waited for over an hour to be waited on. then it took 2 weeks to fix and it still didnt work.

So, this a pretty late review but I feel compelled to correct my oversight... Last year I took my niece's Apple laptop to Apple because she forgot her password and was getting slow. Yeah, Apple store said need to make an appointment and it is 2 weeks out. Yeah, no thanks. So remembered Hamilton Computer Repairs is just down the road and can take right away. Took then less than 1 day to contact me "It's Ready!!" ! Went to pay, let's just say I pay more for my 2 weeks coffee addiction than what I was charged at Hamilton Computer Repairs. Hamilton. I am sorry as i am sure you are a great person. However, I booked an appointment online and it was confirmed with you. I drove over 40 minutes to try to desperately get something fixed. You not only were not there you would not answer any texts or calls trying to reach you. I am sure this was a communication mistake but being hard of hearing is hard enough without online booking issues. If you use the service, you should make sure it up to date. read more

5+ Stars! These guys are rock stars! Tavi is amazing. We had a scientific instrument fail at a research lab at a local college due to a computer crash. The manufacturer told us they would no longer service this instrument (including simply sending us a copy of the original software to re-install on a working computer), but did offer to sell us their latest version of the instrument - for $35k - which was just not in our research budget. Hamilton Computers went above and beyond to get our controlling computer rebuilt and back online. The first thing Tavi did was clone the hard drive to prevent further loss of data. I used to do business directly with David the owner and was happy with what he provided for service. I then had a new HD installed in one of my work computers. I've been back several times because my HD is showing 2 installations of Windows and I repeatedly get error message that Windows Defender is not working (though I have the same exact antivirus software in addition to Windows Defender on my other work computer). David keeps having me deal with Vincent. The problem has not been fixed each time I come in. I've asked to have David, himself, work on the computer and this was his last reply: The error you sent in the other email indicates that there's a registry issue, usually. Defenders service being disabled is usually from another antivirus program being installed. I cannot offer you free service, to see me personally, AND have it done while you wait. If you want it covered under warranty despite being far past 30 days, I'll authorize Vincent to fix the issue, and have it back to you in a few hours. David So now I'm still expected to deal with Vincent who hasn't resolved the problem on more than one occasion and pay again for something that should have been resolved already. I used to rave about Hamilton Repairs. Apparently David can no longer be bothered with offering good service. read more

I recieved an MSI gaming laptop from David at Hamilton, and I couldn't be happier with it. It was in good condition, with a few minor keyboard scuffs which David was EXTREMELY thorough in pointing out to me prior to sale, but overall a genuine top-notch system for far less than what I would have paid elsewhere. Not to mention, I am out of state; David was traveling for other reasons, but was kind enough to meet with me all the way in Virginia on his travels at no additional charge. It's been about six months now, and my laptop is still working appropriately with no problems whatsoever. He loaded me up with Windows and Office as well. Traded some electronics for a 11 MacBook Air. When I get home after an hour + drive home I open the computer and the left side of the screen is messed up. I message David and he immediate tells me it's my fault and he can't do nothing. I tell him he has a 60 day warranty posted in his shop and he says it doesn't cover " user error".. I then send him a video I took when I was inside his store looking at it and on the left side you can see it flickering and how it doesn't match the rest of the screen he then kicks me out of the Facebook chat. He then keeps using metaphors like the one I posted. And YES David if you get home and realize your screen is cracked it is covered under warranty at ATT and every other wireless carrier. I know this because I worked at T-Mobile for years. 14 day warranty. Very professional. Why and how in the hell would I brake my new computer that I NEED for my business. Also don't even put into account how the poor kid working at this shop works alone and had no idea I was even coming by and when calling David, the owner, he was no where to be found for 45 minutes!
